Halle Berry Is Freaking HOT (And A Winner!) At The Fifi Awards (Photos)

Halle Berry is never anything less than ridiculously sexy, but it seems that 2011 has been her year to totally steam up the red carpet.  Halle wore a one-shouldered dress by Halston for the Fifi Awards – the so-called Oscars of the fragrance industry.   Normally, I would dislike a dress like this – it reminds me of the Flintstones for some reason, and I usually find navel-baring cut-outs a little too obvious.  But consider the wearer:  Halle makes everything look great.

Oh yeah, she also won a Fifi award.  Her third fragrance, Reveal, took home the Celebrity Fragrance Of The Year prize.  Halle said:

“I truly believe that fragrance makes women feel beautiful and confident.  For years I have created my own personal scents by mixing and layering fragrances, trying to come up with something unique and different. It’s a wonderful form of self-expression and I am thrilled to share these fragrances with consumers worldwide.”

More smoking pics of Halle after the jump.

‘Grease’ Star Jeff Conaway Dies At Age 60

Actor Jeff Conaway died on Friday at the age of 60.  Conaway is best known for his role as the T-Bird greaser Kenickie in the 1978 film Grease.    He had been found unconscious on May 11, was hospitalized, and remained in a coma until his family made the difficult decision to remove him from life support.

Early news suggested that Conaway had overdosed on drugs, which given his long battles with addiction would not have been surprising.  He publicly aired his struggles with alcohol, painkillers and cocaine on Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew. Later reports clarified that he was suffering from pneumonia and sepsis.

Conaway was a prolific television and film actor whose notable credits include the TV shows Taxi and Babylon 5.

Check out Conaway and Grease co-star John Travolta in this clip.  Go Greased Lightning!  You will be missed.

Lily Allen Gears Up For Her Wedding – Details!

As Lily Allen‘s wedding to Sam Cooper gets closer – on June 11th, just two weeks to go – more details about the celebration are emerging.

Lily celebrated her bachelorette party, or as they call it in England, her “hen-do” with a rather tame dinner at the Savoy Grill at Claridge’s Hotel in London.  The evening also included a cooking lesson from none other than celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.   Lily was adorable in her wedding veil and looked like she was having a great time.

The wedding will be held at St. James the Great Church in Cranham, Gloucestershire, and as rumored, she will be wearing a dress by Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel.  Lily and Sam’s reception will be held at her nearby property in Stroud.  About 300 people will attend the reception, which will include a “truly British” garden party:

“Lily is having a “cricket tea” to kick off the celebrations with finger sandwiches, tea in proper tea cups and saucers, cakes, champagne and Pimms.”

The couple will spend their honeymoon at the Glastonbury Festival, a romantic choice – its where they got together back in 2009.    Oh, l’amour!  Congratulations, Lily and Sam!

Voldemort and Neville on New ‘Deathly Hallows: Part 2′ Character Posters

Here are the two newest character posters for the upcoming final chapter Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.

Nice looking posters, this is nearly the end of Harry Potter promotion material. I’m sure June have us inundated will posters, teasers and TV spots. That anticipation is just going to build and build until this movie comes out, I’m sure it’ll break some records when it’s released on July 15th.

George Clooney in ‘The Descendants’ Trailer

Here’s the trailer for the upcoming movie The Descendants starring George Clooney.

This movie looks like it’s going to be good, not at all what I expected. In fact the first part of the trailer wasn’t exactly pulling me in, but by the end I was all about it. Looks like a film with great performances, an interesting script and a lot of heart. Then again, that might just be how it looks, only time will tell.

Lenny Kravitz to Play Cinna in ‘Hunger Games’

Lenny Kravitz is set to join the cast of The Hunger Games as Katniss’ stylist Cinna.

Lenny Kravitz will join the cast of “The Hunger Games” as Cinna, the stylist and friend to heroine Katniss Everdeen in the big-screen adaptation of the Suzanne Collins novel.

Kravitz, who played an orderly in the Oscar-nominated film “Precious,” has been cast as the designer from Panem’s Capitol who is assigned to give Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) a makeover before partaking in the nationally televised ceremonies that precede the 74th annual Hunger Games — a battle to the death between 24 boys and girls from the various North American districts.

Lenny Kravitz doesn’t do a whole lot of acting, but he does a good job when the opportunity arises. Cinna wears metallic gold eyeliner, which is certainly not a stretch for Kravitz. In fact, he’s probably already worn metallic gold eyeliner in the past, I’m sure he’ll fit this character perfectly. It seems like casting for this movie will never end! Fortunately, it’s almost done, shooting will begin soon.

John Cho Joining ‘Total Recall’

John Cho has signed on to join Colin Farrell in the upcoming sci-fi remake Total Recall.

John Cho (Star Trek) has joined Total Recall, Sony’s remake of the 1990 Arnold Schwarzenegger sci-fi action film that begins shooting Monday in Toronto. Cho will play McClane, the smooth-talking rep for the mind-messing company that tempts Colin Farrell’s Douglas Quaid to implant fantastic memories into his brain.

John Cho is a good actor, I like him in whatever he does. From Harold and Kumar to Star Trek, he proved that he’s good at comedy and drama. I’m sure he’ll be a great fit for Total Recall, hopefully he has more than one scene in the upcoming sci-fi flick. Next summer is going to be very interesting. Expect this one in theaters on August 3rd, 2012.

Shannon Elizabeth Finally Joins ‘American Reunion’

Shannon Elizabeth has officially  joined American Reunion, completing the cast that makes the movie a true reunion.

Welcome back Nadia! Shannon Elizabeth, who had been one of the last holdouts from the original American Pie cast, has signed on to appear in the upcoming Universal-produced fourquel, American Reunion. She will join her co-stars Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott, Alyson Hannigan, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Chris Klein, Eugene Levy, Tara Reid, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Jennifer Coolidge and Mena Suvari who are all set to return. Elizabeth will reprise her role as Czech exchange student Nadia, which she played in the first and second American Pie movies. She is slated to start next week in Atlanta where the movie will be filmed.

The fact that they were able to lock down all of these actors tells me that the script may be pretty good. It’s been so many years since the last movie, but I’m sure they’ll feel right at home once they are all together on set. It’s pretty amazing how few of these actors even work nowadays. You can look forward to seeing this one in theaters on April 6th, 2012.

New ’50/50′ Trailer With Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen

Here’s the trailer for the upcoming movie  film 50/50 starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen.

While this trailer has it’s funny moments, it’s more depressing than anything. Maybe the final product won’t be a downer, but this trailer isn’t helping the movie look that way. I really like Joseph Gordon-Levitt as an actor, so he’s really the only draw for me in this movie. Having dealt with cancer quite a bit over the years probably adds to my general lack of interest in this one.
