Blake Lively At ‘Green Lantern’ Premiere

Keeping her clothes on (and a quite beautiful dress, for sure) Blake Lively arrives to Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles for the premiere of Green Lantern.

Lively, 24, who has had massive amounts of press in the past few weeks for a nude photo scandal (her reps denied it was her and then seemed to clam up after the second wave of pics hit) and a new boyfriend in Leonardo DiCaprio, she works the red carpet expertly in a fabulous white gown with floral appliques and sheer skirt from the Chanel Spring 2009 Couture line. Love the bright blonde highlights framing her face and toning down the red shade of hair she had.

The actress kept talk away from all things she didn’t want to talk about, but was willing to fess up to trying to lure Ryan Reynolds over to the sweet side.

“I would cook for the entire crew and I would try to lure him into eating some of the treats,” she told Us Weekly at the film’s L.A. premiere Wednesday. “Cupcake lollipops, fresh candies, homemade caramel and marshmallows covered in chocolate — stuff like that.”

Oh Blake.

More photos from the red carpet premiere are below.  (Read the article)

Ryan Reynolds At ‘Green Lantern’ Premiere

Ryan Reynolds looked mighty fine as he walked the red carpet at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles yesterday for his latest flick Green Lantern.

Reynolds, 34, told reporters that while his onscreen alter-ego Hal Jordan has all sorts of superhero powers, he has one too, only it’s not so super…

“[Speaking of dislocating his shoulder as filming started] I did that at the beginning. The lamest super-power on Earth! I can separate my shoulder on demand,” Reynolds confessed.

Hmmm, not so super, after all.

More photos of Ryan looking absolutely super are under. (Read the article)

Playboy Cover With Crystal Harris Gets A ‘Runaway Bride’ Sticker From Hugh Hefner

Now that Hugh Hefner is staying a bachelor, an untimely cover of Playboy magazine needs his attention.

Hef planned for his almost-bride, Crystal Harris, to be on the July cover of the mens magazine, its release would coincide with their wedding that was supposed to happen this Saturday, June 18th at the Playboy mansion.

As you probably know by now, that ceremony isn’t happening, as Crystal decided she’s not walking down the aisle with Hugh, however the cover is already done and on it’s way to newsstands – announcing:

“America’s Princess – Introducing the new Mrs. Crystal Hefner”

Err…

Not one to let a mere wedding crash and burn get the best of him, the Hef has a solution – a red “Runaway Bride” sticker for the now-erroneous (and ironic) cover.

The 84 year-old tweeted the cover:

“Recent events call for a special sticker on the July cover. Look for it on newsstands,” he said.

So what do you think. Is Hugh making lemonade out of lemons? Or is it a sad attempt to save face?

Selena Gomez Says Her Junk Food Habit Sent Her To The Hospital

Being incredibly busy and a junk food junkie isn’t good for your health and Selena Gomez says she found that out the hard way.

The “Who Says” singer ended up in the hospital last week, discovering she was “malnourished” and “exhausted” and Gomez says that’s partly to blame on her sweet-tooth cravings.

The 18 year-old spoke to Kidd Kraddick’s Texas radio show and explained:

“I do eat. The problem is I don’t eat right. I love everything that’s possibly not good for me,” she said.

Her mom has now stepped in to set her straight and make sure she’s taking care of herself.

“She’s definitely shoving vitamins down my mouth and following me around,” Gomez says of her mom, Mandy Teefey.

“But at the same time, I was a stubborn kid, so I got to eat whatever I wanted. I have to have creamed spinach or cheese on my broccoli. I have to have something that makes it not healthy.”

What’s her downfall? Like so many other people, it’s candy!

“I love M&Ms, Kit Kats, Snickers and Goobers at the movies,” she admits.

With her mom’s help (and the hospital visit probably scared her as well,) Gomez is recovering nicely.

“I’m good now, thank you,” she says. “I’m so much better.”

Selena will host the MuchMusic Video Awards on Sunday, June 19th.

Eva Longoria InStyle Cover For July

Eva Longoria , gives off a summer vibe in a Michael Kors swimsuit and perfectly highlighted hair on the cover of InStyle‘s July issue.

The Desperate Housewives actress opens up and shares her makeup and beauty tips and how you have to let go of the past to move forward:

On trying makeup as a kid: “I wasn’t allowed to wear makeup when I was young. I would melt crayons and try to put them on my lips, and I would use watercolors for eye shadow.”

On what beauty product she must-have: “Mascara is very important. If I were on a desert island, I would have to have mascara and lip balm. I’m naturally tan, but I like to use a bronzing powder or something to make my skin look shimmery.”

On what’s the best thing for petite figures: “High heels. I love all designer shoes. There’s this pair in my closet by Versace, and they must be 8 inches – crazy tall! I once tried to count how many I had. All I know is that I just donated 60 pairs.”

On love and loss: “One thing I did learn is you don’t hold on to the bitterness of the loss; you hang on to the beauty of the love. Remember all the good things. There was a reason you met someone and a reason why you were together.”

Eva’s issue is on newsstands Friday.

Jennifer Aniston (And Her Lack Of Pants) Cover Marie Claire

Making the most of a menswear jacket (and nothing else) Jennifer Aniston is the smiling cover girl for the July issue of Marie Claire.

The 42 year-old actress shares what was her first big time purchase after she landed Friends and an alternative job if the acting thing didn’t work out:

What Did She Buy: “I spent my first paycheck on a vintage Mercedes. I was struggling a little in New York, working as a waitress at Jackson Hole but not really getting any consistent acting work. Then I moved out here to Los Angeles, and I started getting pilots and working pretty regularly. I still didn’t make any decent money until I got on Friends.”

What Aniston Would Do Besides Acting: “If I weren’t an actor; I’d be: Maybe an interior designer. I love seeing a house and thinking about how it should be redone or restored. I spent a lot of time doing my current house, and it’s beautiful.. It’s like a beautiful work of art, and I’m very proud of it.”

Jennifer’s issue (including interviews with her Horrible Bosses costars Jason Sudeikis, Jason Bateman and Charlie Day) is on sale June 21st.

Kim Kardashian’s Ridiculous Wedding Registry – Details

Kim Kardashian was practically born with a silver spoon in her mouth, but evidently one is not enough. She and fiance Kris Humphries haven’t even set a wedding date yet, but they made haste to registered their wedding wish list.  And in true Kardashian style, their registry at Gearys of Beverly Hills is well over the top.

Some examples of their extravagant taste:

Baccarat Vega champagne flutes – 24 – $130 each
Baccarat Vega goblets – 24 – $125
Baccarat Cosmos vase – $7,850
Torchon five-piece silverware set – 24 – $1,600 each
Silver vegetable server – $1,250
Havana crystal ashtray – $840

And the list goes on and on and on.

To be completely frank, I think this is shameful.  Neither of them is wanting for money and could easily buy any of these things for themselves.  But instead, they’re asking their as-rich or richer friends to pick up the tab.   I’m sure they’ll get everything on their list and then some, and I hope they enjoy every bit of it as quickly as they can, because this marriage is not fated to last.

Jennifer Lopez Shimmies And Shakes At The Summertime Ball (Photos, Video)

Jennifer Lopez was a huge hit with fans at the Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium last weekend.  She performed several of her hits, including “On The Floor,” “Get Right” and “I’m Into You.”

J-Lo looked pretty amazing in a snakeskin printed mini and matching thigh high boots.  Although, I must confess, when I first glanced at this picture, I thought it was Jennifer’s American Idol colleague, Steven Tyler.  Oh yes I did go there!

Click through to see a video of Jennifer shakin’ it as she performs “I’m Into You” and of course, more photos.

First ‘John Carter’ Poster Drops ‘Mars’

Here’s the first poster for the upcoming Disney sci-fi movie John Carter, formerly titled John Carter of Mars.

Oscar-winning director Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo, WALL-E) has been hard at work perfecting its extensive visual effects which employ full motion capture and more to tell the story of an American Civil War veteran (Taylor Kitsch) who somehow travels to Mars and is called on to help save the red planet. It also stars Willem Dafoe, Mark Strong, Thomas Hayden Church, Samantha Morton and Bryan Cranston among others.

This movie has been long talked about and nearly forgotten, it’s a good thing they are putting it back on the radar. The poster doesn’t reveal much, this could have just been a shot from a Taylor Kitsch photoshoot with some lettering slapped on top. The cast is pretty killer, so I’m actually pretty anxious to see a trailer for this one. John Carter will be released on March 9th, 2012.
