Here’s the latest trailer for the upcoming John Favreau (Iron Man) movie Cowboys & Aliens.

This movie is looking better and better, despite the outrageous concept. People have to remember this is in fact a comic book movie, and we all know Jon Favreau is great at these. Harrison Ford seems perfect for this role, even if he looks like an old worn out Indiana Jones here. I have high hopes for Cowboys & Aliens which will be in theaters on July 29th.

The adorable Carla Gugino celebrated the premiere of her new movie, Mr. Popper’s Penguins, at Grauman’s Chinese Theater.   She chose an electric blue, very body conscious dress with cut-out details at the sleeves.  Love the color on her!

Carla joins stars James Tupper, Jim Carrey, Clark Gregg, Angela Lansbury and Jeffrey Tambor in the adaptation of the beloved children’s book by the same name.

For the July issue of GQ, actor Chris Evans took his interviewer, Edith Zimmerman, out for a wild night of drinking.

Despite his publicists worries and pleas (“Please don’t drink too much, please just don’t drink too much — you’re gonna take this person out, and they’re going to ruin you,” she begged Evans) Evans wasn’t the one crawling out the window and little memory of the night, it was Zimmerman.

The story is pretty hilarious and does give the interview the sound of a crush who gets to ask questions to her favorite movie star, (she says he was flirty and didn’t feel “insincere,”) but who can blame her? Read her hilarious tale here.

So what did Captain America: The First Avenger have to say? Well, just that he turned down the role over and over before decided to take on what scares him:

“I said no a bunch, and every time I said no, I woke up the next morning so happy and content,” he reveals. “I kept saying no; they kept coming back. And eventually I was like, ‘You know what? This is your biggest fear — this is exactly what you have to do.’”

“But we’ll see. I could be singing a different tune in six months. It’s easy to say all this pretentious sh*t now.” He grinned and made a jerk-off gesture. “The problem is, if the movie’s bad, that’s one set of problems. If the movie’s great, here come the sequels, here come the f***in’…” he said, catching himself before complaining… [He doesn't want to sound ungrateful.]

Evans and his superhero charm will be on the big screen when Captain America hits July 22nd.

Fergie goes to Milk Studios in Los Angeles for her photo session with Norman Jean Roy and gets the cover of July’s Allure magazine.

The Black Eyed Peas singer gives us the details on aging gracefully, her weight struggles and how she and band mate will.i.am can be at odds:

On her age: “I’m definitely young at heart, and I always will be, I’m just trying to age gracefully.”

On her body: “I think people think that I’m pregnant sometimes because my weight fluctuates. My problem is my discipline. I see a Jack in the Box or a DelTaco, and I will impulsively want it. I’m a work in progress in that area. I gain and lose weight everywhere from the thighs up.”

On her relationship with Will.i.Am: “There is conflict, he’s very protective, and it drives me nuts because I do a lot of my best work, writing-wise, when I’m completely alone.”

On working so hard: “I took a break to have a wedding. I’ve definitely committed some time this year to the Peas, but not as [much as] I have in previous years. I need balance in my life, and the guys understand that … I don’t think Will ever wants a break. We’re very different in that way.”

On her looks: “I’ve learned to love my nose because it’s unique. It’s interesting, and it just makes me a little different.”

Fergie’s issue is on newsstand on July 21st.

British singer Joss Stone was the intended target of two men who were plotting to rob and murder her, police said.

The Devon and Cornwall authorities took two men, ages 30 and 33, into custody after residents reported a suspicious vehicle in the neighborhood.

When stopped by police, the men “had in their possession information relating to an individual in the Cullompton area and items which lead us to suspect that they may have intended to commit a criminal offense,” Detective Inspector Steve Parker said.

“Police enquiries continue and the men remain in custody. We’re unable to say any more at this time but I would like to thank the local residents for reporting the suspicious car.”

The Sun is reporting that the men had in their possession an arsenal of items ready for the terrible task, including swords, rope, a body bag and maps and aerial photos to Stone’s secluded property in Cullompton.

The 24 year-old singer, who has become good friends with Prince William the Duke of Cambridge, and attended his April 29th wedding, has been made aware of the arrests and was, thankfully, not at home at the time.

Game of Thrones actor Sean Bean was attacked and stabbed in the arm at a bar in London according to a report.

The 52 year-old actor was getting his drink on at Hill Bar and Brasserie in the Camden area of North London with Italian Playboy model April Summers, 22, when the two stepped outside the bar for a smoke.

Witnesses claim a passerby made “lewd” comments about Summers and Bean chased him down the street, confronting him.

Bean returned to the bar and later in the evening, so did the other man, who allegedly attacked Bean with a broken bottle and punched the actor as well.

The police were called and despite the gash on his arm, he declined to go to the hospital and opted for the bar’s first aid kit… and another drink!

A member of staff said: “Sean is a regular here and we’ve never had any problems before. He was with a very attractive woman and an incident occurred outside the bar.

‘He came in with a cut on his arm and a bruise on his eyebrow. We saw to his injuries with the first aid kit.He seemed ok and wanted to have another drink.”

That’s one tough dude.

Padma Lakshmi stepped out the the 8th Wayuu Taya Foundation Gala held at Urban Zen in the Stephen Weiss Studios in New York City on Monday, June 13th.

The Wayuu Taya Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 2002 to help improve the lives of Latin-American indigenous communities while maintaining and respecting their traditions, culture and beliefs.

The Top Chef host recently spoke to OK! Magazine about her daughter, Krishna Thea and her healthy eating habits.

“She’s great, She’s growing, she’s eating and talking up a storm.”

“Just the usual. She’s a really good eater, which I’m really happy about. She likes black-eyed peas and kale. Just the normal stuff.”

Well, maybe if you’re mom is Top Chef host, your child will like kale, but I’m not sure about most kids. Hopefully she hangs on to enjoying her greens!

Miranda Lambert belts out her stellar performance into her pink microphone for the crowd at the 2011 CMA Music Festival Nightly Concerts at LP Field in Nashville, Tennessee.

The 27 year-old singer/songwriter also took the stage with her trio the Pistol Annies and performed for 500 members of her Fan Club at Nashville Palace, a bar and grill where everyone enjoyed burgers, barbeque and beer pong!

Lambert, who married The Voice mentor and country superstar Blake Shelton in May, said she was skeptical at first about Shelton spending so much time in Los Angeles but now she gets absorbed by the drama every week, just like everyone else.

“Christina Aguliera fans are very intense, I’ve noticed. I thought my fans were intense.”

“The Voice is really, really cool. When Blake came to me when he first got the offer for it and I didn’t know what it was and I was like, “You’re going to be gone in L.A. for three months? I don’t know.” But he felt good about it. And now, to me — and not just because I’m his wife — but he’s an amazing judge on there.”

“He’s really showing a different side of him and he’s so involved with his contestants and now I’m attached to them and am crying over their performances. It’s really changed our life a little bit as far as there is a different level of eyes watching us, and the bigger that you get, the more people try and stir up crap. And it’s like, “We’ve been married for a month, will you all just hold on?”

“I’m really happy for him. I think it’s something that’s huge for him and not only for him but for country music because he is representing our genre and he’s doing a great job.”

Miranda also told the Tennessean that she isn’t taking a break anytime soon, she’s busy building “an empire” and “you don’t take time off work” when you are so driven.

Lambert is working non-stop and her career just keeps getting bigger. I really like her and her attitude.

Just a few days before they were to marry, Crystal Harris has called off her wedding to Hugh Hefner.

Hef tweeted the news:

“The wedding is off.  Crystal has had a change of heart.”

A message posted on Crystal’s website confirmed her decision.

“After much deep reflection and thought I have decided to end my engagement with Hef.  I have the utmost respect for Hef and wish him the best going forward. I hope the media will give each of us the privacy we deserve during this time.”

I’m surprised, but I’m not surprised.  I am sure that she got very cold feet when it hit her that she was about to marry a guy who is SIXTY years older than her.  However, I honestly thought she probably in this for the money.  Not to be crass, but Hef is 84 years old.  Crystal would probably be a very rich widow before too long.  Hmmmm.

TMZ speculates that the split was over money (she wasn’t getting enough of it now, apparently) and her desire to have a singing career.  However, rumors remain rampant that the “deep reflection and thought” on Crystal’s part is inspired by Jordan McGraw, son of Dr. Phil McGraw.

Harris’ manager Michael Blakey gave a pretty canned response when asked for a comment.

“The split was a mutual decision and the two remain good friends.”

(Did he not read his client’s own statement that said it was her decision?  Anyway.)

Crystal and Hef would have been married Saturday night at the Playboy Mansion.  It would have been Hefner’s third marriage and Crystal’s first.
