Glowing Jessica Alba At Covenant House 2011 Gala

Expectant mom Jessica Alba glowed as she attended the Covenant House 2011 Gala and Awards Dinner at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles on June 9th.

Radiant Alba, 30, gave off a heavenly vibe in the long Dolce & Gabbana white eyelet and floral lace dress that looked perfect for the summer event.

Jessica presented her Dark Angel producer and friend James Cameron and his wife, director Suzy Amis with an award for the work they do on behalf of the organization’s efforts to raise money for homeless kids and teens.

The actress admitted that her daughter, Honor Marie, who turned 3 years-old earlier this week, is ready to get the baby out of mom’s tummy.

“Honor loves to sit on my lap,” explains Jessica. “She says, ‘Is the baby still in there Mom?’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, it’s still in there.’ And she goes, ‘Can’t you take it out now? I want to sit on your lap.’

“I keep telling her that baby is not ready to come out yet.”

Kathy Griffin At The Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic

Kathy Griffin was among the many celebrities who turned out for the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic last week.  She wore a black dress with a sash and ruffled detail at the collar.  Simple, and a little subdued for Kathy, but very classy. She looked fabulous.

The former My Life On The D-List star joked that her appearance at the event – her first – lifted her up to “C minus” status.   But that wasn’t the only reason she was having a great time.  She commented:

“I don’t know anything about polo. But I think I’m finally home. It’s hot guys on horses.”

Amen, sister.

Tracy Morgan’s Homophobic Rant At Nashville Show

At a show in Nashville at The Ryman Auditorium, Tracy Morgan let loose a repulsive anti-gay rant according to at least one show attendee.

In a Facebook post titled “Why I No Longer ‘Like’ Tracy Morgan — A Must Read,” Kevin Rogers wrote that he was fan of the 30 Rock star until he sat through this show from the comedian.

Rogers alleges that Morgan claims being gay is a choice and

“God don’t make no mistakes” and that lesbians are “just pretending.”

According to Rogers, the actor dismissed bullying by saying:

“…the gays needed to quit being p***ies and not be whining about something as insignificant as bullying.”

Among the disturbing things Morgan is alleged to have said is that he would kill his own son, if he found out he was gay.

“He said if his son that was gay he better come home and talk to him like a man and not [he mimicked a gay, high pitched voice] or he would pull out a knife and stab that little N (one word I refuse to use) to death,” Rogers wrote.

The Ryman Auditorium issued a statement apologizing for the offensive Morgan.

“The Ryman Auditorium regrets that people were offended by statements made by Tracy Morgan during his June 3 appearance.  The Ryman does not control the content presented by people appearing on its stage, nor does it endorse any of the views of, or statements made by, such persons.”

Morgan has landed in hot water before with his comments, including saying that Sarah Palin is “good masturbation material” on TNT and at a show in New York two years ago, he told the audience being gay was a “choice.”

Morgan’s rep said “There is no comment. Thank you.”

Russell Crowe Takes On The Circumcision Debate On Twitter

Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe set off a twitter firestorm as he let loose on the practice of male circumcision.

“Circumcision is barbaric and stupid. Who are you to correct nature? Is it real that GOD requires a donation of foreskin? Babies are perfect,” the actor began.

The 47 year-old persisted with his views as he was both denounced and praised for broaching the hot-button topic.

“Many Jewish friends, I love my Jewish friends, I love the apples and the honey and the funny little hats but stop cutting yr babies,” Crowe added.

“I will always stand for the perfection of babies, I will always believe in God, not man’s interpretation of what God requires.”

“Last of it, if u feel it is yr right 2 cut things off yr babies please unfollow and f— off, I’ll take attentive parenting over barbarism.”

Gisele Bunchen At Morgan Freeman AFI Honors

Sparkling down the red carpet, Gisele Bunchen adds her glittery presence to the 2011 ‘TV Land Presents: AFI Life Achievement Award Honoring Morgan Freeman held at Sony Studios in Los Angeles.

Bundchen wore a beautiful silvery gray gown from Oscar de la Renta with embroidery and beading that gave the dress some shine. A hot pink ribbon for a belt set off the color of the dress and was the perfect accent to the craftsmanship of the dress.

The 30 year-old model was among the many stars who were on hand to honor the screen legend and celebrate his incredible career.

Gisele has a lot to celebrate for herself as well. She is on target to become the first model to rake in $1 billion with property, endorsement deals, licensing and her ownership in companies. That’s pretty amazing.

‘Breaking Bad’ Season 4 Poster – Walt Is ‘Extremely Volatile’

The new poster for season 4 of AMC‘s Breaking Bad has hit and wow! Walt is intense.

Continuing with the show’s theme of a chemistry teacher gone rogue meth-maker in the art work, Bryan Cranston‘s Walt is angry, determined and pissed, not to mention unpredictable and extremely volatile.

The dynamic between Gus (Giancarlo Esposito) and Walt is a big theme as the show starts off dealing with the aftermath of Jesse (Aaron Paul) and the gunshots in Gale’s (David Costabile) apartment.

Showrunner Vince Gilligan also teases DEA Agent and Walt’s brother-in-law, Hank’s (Dean Norris) health will improve but he’s in for a twist.

“Hank definitely has a very long road to recovery,” says Gilligan. “[But] even though things look pretty dire in the early going, he will get his mojo back as the season progresses in some fashion, although probably not in the fashion that you’d expect.”

Catch the trailer for season 4 here.

The new season bows on July 15th, but if you need to catch up, AMC is running all three previous seasons in it’s late night programming. Now if only they’d pair this with The Walking Dead – I’d have two hours of heart-stopping TV.
