Report: Anthony Weiner’s Wife, Huma Abedin Is Pregnant

On the heels of an emotional press conference where he admitted to lying, a new report says NY Congressman Anthony Weiner‘s wife, Huma Abedin is pregnant according to the NY Times.

The couple who married in July of 2010, had told only close friends and family members and Abedin, 35, is in the early stages of pregnancy.

On Monday, Weiner, 46, fessed up to lying and posting compromising photos on twitter and engaging in X-rated chats in the public confession but he  maintained his marriage to Abedin (who wasn’t present,) was still solid.

“We will weather this,” he told reporters. “I love her very much, and she loves me.”

Abedin, who has been a long time aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, hasn’t missed work since the story broke and left the country yesterday for Northern Africa with the Clinton team.

Darren Aronofsky’s Noah’s Ark Epic Closer to Reality

Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan) wants his next film to be the Biblical story of Noah. He’s been shopping the film around town, now it looks like it’s getting financed!

Aronofsky wrote a script that is getting a rewrite by John Logan. I’ve heard he wants $130 million to make it and that New Regency is eyeing a co-financing role. Suitors considering stepping up for the other half include Paramount and Fox, as well as Summit, I’ve heard. It was described to me as a big fantasy epic, and an opportunity for Aronofsky to create a world.

This is a project that could easily get a lot of scorn from Biblical scholars if it’s not made to follow the Bible precisely. But the fact is, the movie is more based on a comic book about Noah’s Ark than directly from the Bible. In any case, it should be interesting to see what Aronofsky does with this film. He’s one of my favorite directors and I’m sure he’ll make something extraordinary here.

Kim Kardashian Is Fighting Mad At Affair Story & Says She’ll Sue

Kim Kardashian is furious over In Touch Weekly‘s cover and story for this week and she says she’s going to take legal action.

Running the cover line “Stop The Wedding! Kim Caught Cheating!” the magazine says New England Patriots safety Bret Lockett claims to have had a 5 month long affair with the reality TV star while she was dating her-now fiance, Kris Humphries.

The 30 year-old star says it isn’t even close to being true – she’s never met Lockett!

“This is absolutely not true,” Kim told E! News exclusively. “I have no idea who this person is.”

She even took to her blog to blast Lockett further:

“This guy should be ashamed of himself. Calling up a magazine and making up an entirely fake story in a sad attempt to ruin my relationship!?!?! It’s just shameful and this guy should feel ashamed and humiliated. Is this your pathetic attempt for attention? I’ll be damned if anyone, especially some loser I’ve never even met, is going to try to come between Kris and I.”

Kardashian’s team was informed of the story ahead of time and her lawyers warned the publication of their impending legal action should they go forward with the alleged affair story.

Kim’s lawyer, Dennis A. Roach sent the mag a letter.

Roach told In Touch Weekly to “immediately refrain from publishing, distributing or disseminating any factually untrue and unsubstantiated information” and called the allegations “at a minimum, damaging, defamatory and an invasion of her privacy.”

Kardashian leaves a parting message on her blog:

“I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again… don’t believe everything you read. The tabloids and weekly magazines will do ANYTHING to sell copies, and in this case they decided to run a false story, knowing they had absolutely no proof that it was real. It’s disgusting, and I will be taking legal action against In Touch magazine and Bret Lockett.”

This battle sounds like it’s just beginning.

‘The Walking Dead’ Season 2 First PHOTO

Season 2 of The Walking Dead cannot come soon enough.

Thankfully, mercifully AMC and showrunner/producer/writer Frank Darabont are finally giving fans a peep of the upcoming season with a brand new photo.

Here is what Darabont had to say:

“At this moment, I’m standing on a stretch of post-apocalypse interstate in Georgia, littered with abandoned cars and blessing my good luck to be reunited with our amazing cast, and our fantastic directors and crew. Across the board, there are none better. It’s great to be shooting again. I think we’ve embarked on a great season.”

There has been so little released about the second season since the PaleyFest panel it’s almost criminal! This single photo has fans salivating for more details, photos, comments, any tidbit that Darabont and the gang will serve up. Can’t wait for more.

The 13 episode season will debut sometime this fall – although no exact date has been revealed.

Yeah, Zombies!

Leonardo DiCaprio in Talks for Tarantino’s ‘Django Unchained’

Leonardo DiCaprio is in talks to play the villain in Quentin Tarantino‘s next film Django Unchained.

Talks are about to get underway for Leonardo DiCaprio to play the role of villainous ranch owner Calvin Candie in Django Unchained, the Sergio Leone-style spaghetti Western that Quentin Tarantino wrote and will direct as his next film. DiCaprio is being courted to play a charming but ruthless proprietor of Candyland, a despicable club and plantation in Mississippi where female slaves are exploited as sex objects and males are pitted against each other in “mandingo” style death matches. Candie is a slave’s worst nightmare and the freed slave Django must cross him in order to reclaim his wife.

DiCaprio as the villain sounds like an awesome idea, this is why I love Tarantino so much. He’s always coming up with out-of-the-box concepts like this. Casting is all up in the air for this movie, but when things get locked down and this movie moves forward, we are in for a treat.

‘Lone Ranger’ Gets a Release Date

Lone Ranger, the upcoming Disney feature starring Armie Hammer and Johnny Depp has been given the official release date of December 21st, 2012.

Disney will release Lone Ranger on December 21, 2012, giving the studio a big holiday entry in a crowding field. The film, directed by Gore Verbinski and starring Armie Hammer as the title character and Johnny Depp as Tonto, takes place in 1869. A Texas Ranger, left for dead, is saved by the Commanche Tonto, who gives his new partner the masked identity of Lone Ranger.

This is one of those movies that is perfect for the holiday season, they’ve chosen well. Now that they have a deadline it makes getting this movie shot a much bigger priority, it’s set to begin shooting later this year. Johnny Depp‘s Tonto is likely to be more the main character than the Lone Ranger himself, at least thats how it should be.

First ‘Servitude’ Poster is Simple

Here’s the first poster for the upcoming comedy Servitude.

A group of frustrated waiters at a kitschy steakhouse take over their restaurant for one final, glorious, revenge-filled night when they discover they are all about to be fired.

The poster doesn’t really do much for me, and it doesn’t really tell much about the movie. It sounds like it has the potential to be funny, but it’s not exactly groundbreaking stuff here. I’m sure a lot more promotional stuff including a trailer will be out soon to give us a better idea what this movie is like.

Robert De Niro and Jason Statham’s ‘Killer Elite’ Gets September Release Date

Robert DeNiro, Jason Statham and Clive Owen‘s upcoming movie Killer Elite has been picked up for distribution and will be in theaters on September 23rd.

Open Road set a September 23, 2011 date for Killer Elite, the Gary McKendry-directed action thriller that stars Jason Statham, Clive Owen and Robert De Niro. The fact-based thriller is about an ex-special ops agent (Statham) lured out of retirement to rescue his mentor (De Niro). To do it, he must lay waste to three assassins with a cunning leader (Owen).

Great cast, interesting story, sounds like a great formula for an action flick. I love all these actors in these kinds of roles, I’d be willing to watch this movie just based on the short description. The fact that it’s based on true events makes it even more intriguing. I hope it’s good!
