The upcoming reboot Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be written by the same screenwriters responsible for the forthcoming Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol.

After the writing team of Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec revived one Paramount franchise with their script for Mission: Impossible –Ghost Protocol, the studio has tapped them to rewrite another franchise Paramount is hoping to resuscitate. They will next go to work on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Sounds like the studio made a great choice having these writers take over the script. The guaranteed audience for a new live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie is huge, so it’s important that the masses are pleased. The fact is they are all grown up and probably want a grown up story, so hopefully Applebaum and Nemec can deliver.

Rep. Anthony Weiner is caught with his pants down, both literally and figuratively and his wife, Huma Abedin, a top aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is out of town leaving the elected official to deal with the fallout from his inappropriate photos & texting scandal.

Weiner, 46, and Abedin, 35, became engaged in May of 2009 and married in July 2010, but long before, the now-embattled elected official was once was featured in Cosmopolitan magazine’s 1996 spread “101 Gorgeous Real Life Bachelors.”

His responses to the questions are cheesy, even for Cosmo.

Like this one:

First Lady: “Someone smarter than me. I want to be sucked back into the throes of love — isn’t that what everybody really wants?”

Or this:

On a day off, you’d catch me… “I hate days off, but I guess I’d try on clothes I couldn’t afford.”

MTV will begin airing Season 3 of Teen Mom on July 5th with the 4 original stars: Amber Portwood, Maci Bookout, Farrah Abraham and Catelynn Lowell.

The young moms have lived out a high-profile, tabloid existence since rocketing to fame in the docu-drama, reality TV show and MTV was there to capture it all along the way.

Amber and her baby’s father Gary Shirley, who’ve each seen their troubles with the Indiana law and Child Protective Services, continue to struggle with each other and their tempers as shown in the trailer.

It looks like we all might have confused which NY Jets player Hayden Panettiere has the hots for.

The Scream 4 star may have found a new man, but not in quarterback Mark Sanchez, as was previously reported but his pal and teammate Scotty McKnight is the football dude who caught her eye.

The 23 year-old athlete and 7th round draft pick for the Jets this year is a childhood friend of Sanchez and as the actress told USWeekly, she’s become close friends with Sanchez and his pals.

“I’m a huge Jets fan and became very good friends with Mark and his buddies,” the actress said. “I’ve always been that girl who has a lot of dude friends. I’m into sports so we have a lot in common.”

Panettiere recently split from her boxer boyfriend of two years, Wladimir Klitschko and the two have said they “respect” each other still.

The 30 year-old reality TV star wore a corseted black lace Dolce & Gabbana gown that hugged her curves and ended with a flare at the hem of the skirt. She kept her hair pulled back tight to echo her dress and accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz jewels. Oh and that 20.5 carat diamond engagement ring – can’t forget that bling!

Kardashian was there to pick up her Entrepreneur of the Year Award for her million dollar empire. A star of Keeping up With The Kardashians, the mogul also rakes in the dough for her endorsements, clothing and jewelry line and just about anything else she puts her name to

The soon-to-be-Mrs. Kris Humphries tweeted:

He’s spent about two and half years on a hit TV show, but Laurence Fishburne‘s time is now up.

The actor is leaving behind Dr. Langston on CSI after having taken over when the very popular William Petersen left his role of Gil Grissom in 2008.

Fishburne, known for roles in movies like Boyz in the Hood, Mission: Impossible III and The Matrix trilogy said that he was open to returning, even though his contract had expired.

”I’m having a great time,” he told EW earlier this spring.

Fishburne is back on the big screen in Steven Soderberg‘s Contagion and CSI is shuffling too. It’s been on Thursdays at 9pm but starting in 2010/2011 season, CBS moves the show to Wednesdays at 10pm.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is hitting all the red carpet events lately.

The Victoria’s Secret model landed in the UK for the 2011 Glamour Woman of the Year Awards held at the Berkley Square Gardens in London on Tuesday, June 7th.

The 24 year-old Brit made her way inside in a pinkish beige colored Stella McCartney silk dress with cropped top and side slits in the skirt. She kept her hair simple and glamorous and chose Tiffany jewels to accent her look.

The model-turned-actress is set to make her big screen debut in the Transformers franchise (thanks to Megan Fox departing after having differences with director Michael Bay) and says she’s ready for the world to see the film.

“I am ready. It’s been a long year waiting for it to happen,” she told Access Hollywood. “We shot for seven months. It was a big roller coaster, so I’m ready to bite the bullet and see what happens when it comes out. I’m really excited.”

The competition on The Voice isn’t just between the singers.

Miranda Lambert got a twitter backlashing from Christina Aguilera fans when she responded to a tweet from the “Beautiful” singer.

Aguilera took a poke at her fellow mentors on the show, Adam Levine and Lambert’s hubby, Blake Shelton. After the two had their turn at the mic this week, the 30 year-old star tweeted:

“Was Blake just about to make out w/Adam as he sang that song into his eyes?”

“That was some strange bro-mance s**t! What’s been happening behind the cameras??hmmmmm.”

Lambert responded with a dig of her own, setting off fans.

“@TheRealXtina wow. Calling all males: Please relieve christina from her obvious Frustration before things get….ugly. Team Blake rocks: )” she said on twitter.

“The House That Built Me” singer responded and agreed with a fan who said “It’s cool that Blake treats his team like HIS TEAM and not his background singers. So talented!”

Within minutes of those tweets, Aguilera’s fans were all over Miranda but she was in a fiesty mood.

“jealous bc ur husband said that Christina is THE BEST SINGER HE EVER HEARD? dont be girl,” u should hear what else he said..” (Lambert added the end part.)

In the end the twitter onslaught seems to have been a bit much for the 27 year-old country crooner who tried to back away from her comments.

“Whoa peeps calm it. No one said anything mean about your girl xtina. Just cheering for my hubby:) every competion needs a good cheerleader: )”

Christina hasn’t responded to the jabs, but what do you think? Purposefully mean or an unintentional swipe?

Kristen Stewart hopped a plane from Los Angeles after the 2011 MTV Movie Awards and headed to England to attend another fashionable bash.

The 2011 Glamour Woman of the Year Awards held at the Berkley Square Gardens in London brought the Twilight superstar overseas and down another red carpet.

Stewart opted for another strapless, very short skirt Balmain look – extremely similar to her MTV Movie Awards look, (see those photos here) minus the punch of color and the potential prick of pin. Even her hair was essentially, the same. Just a wee bit tamer.

Yes, she has awesome legs (seriously – the girl has killer gams!) but some effort from her stylist would’ve been nice.

The 21 year-old actress presented the Man of The Year Award to Garrett Hedlund. The two costar in the upcoming big screen adaptation of Jack Kerouac‘s On The Road, due out later this year.
