Finally all the issues that were holding the next James Bond film from moving forward have ended. The as yet untitled Bond 23 is preparing to shoot this fall for release in the USA on November 9th, 2012.

Bond fans can finally set their countdown clock for the next 007 installment. MGM and Sony Pictures Entertainment announced today that the 23rd James Bond film will be released late next year.

Great news! It was bound to happen eventually, I’m just glad it’s now and not later. Quantum of Solace wasn’t nearly as good as Casino Royale, I really hope they get a great script together to bring the quality back up. To be fair, there are many less than excellent bond films in the huge 22 film series. I just hope they can change that trend and do Daniel Craig‘s Bond justice. I’m a big Bond fan so I’ll be following this one closely, stay tuned.

Lindsay Lohan had a visit from authorities Tuesday as her ankle bracelet was set off.

Probation officials headed to the Mean Girls star Venice Beach townhouse to investigate the reason for the electronic monitoring device’s alarm going off and found Lohan watching her 3-D TV and reading scripts.

Steve Honig, a spokesman for the actress, said “They came as part of standard procedure to make sure the monitoring equipment was working properly.”

TMZ reports the device may have malfunctioned and Lohan was issued new equipment.

As part of her sentencing for her plea deal for the theft of a necklace, Lohan is under house arrest for 35 days and must wear the monitor at all times. She can have visitors and can go outside, but cannot drink alcohol or do drugs.

Is it or isn’t it Blake Lively?

After yesterday’s strong rejection by her representatives that the nude photos floating around the web purporting to be the Gossip Girl star were her, another round of photos from the hacker is circulating, in part because the denial angered him/her.

Seventeen more photos have now surfaced online with the hacker taunting Lively and her people.

Posted with the pics was this message: “Oh, yes, Blake’s rep. These are totally fake.  We really, really believe you.  Want moar?  BTW, thanks for all the faps.”

The 23 year-old star’s people continue to deny the photos as authentic but more people are raising questions.

In some of the photos small star shaped tattoos are shown on the woman (who’s face is obscured) and they are similar to those worn by Blake in her movie The Town.

TMZ has posted a side-by-side comparison shot where you can see the small star tattoo in both the leaked photo and a still from the movie.

Lively is still overseas with her new rumored boyfriend, Leonardo DiCaprio and while she isn’t enjoying the photo scandal – I’m sure being able to be with Leo has to help.

This is a moment team Edward has been waiting for for years now, finally they are going to get to see it when the first part of Breaking Dawn is released on November 18th. The Hunger Games starring Jennifer Lawrence is set to be released next year, it’s based on the first book in the trilogy. Now much like Harry Potter and The Twilight Saga, the final book Mockingjay will be split in two.

The first two books will be the first two films. The last book will be split in half. The final installment, Mockingjay, is logistically ambitious and can be scaled up comfortably to cover two films. I believe that Gary Ross and Collins have done rewrites and already figured out how to create a satisfying ending to the third film. A fourth film will give Lionsgate brass an extra year to puff out their chests before Wall Street analysts, but enough happens in that third book that there’s a good chance that fans of the Collins trilogy will also be pleased by an extra installment.

This is smart for making more money on the franchise, it will also keep production costs down if they shoot it as one long movie then release it in two halves. This is becoming a common thing in Hollywood, it was done with the Lord of the Rings trilogy, the upcoming Hobbit films, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, and of course Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Technically The Hunger Games is the only movie Lionsgate has even committed to, but when it’s a huge box office smash next year they are sure to sign on for the next three movies.

Sexy, strong and confident, actress Mila Kunis takes the cover of LA Confidential for the summer 2011 issue.

Kunis’ career is red hot right now in part thanks to her role in Black Swan (where her costar Natalie Portman won just about every award available this year,) and the upcoming Friends with Benefits where she gets a little onscreen action from Justin Timberlake.

But the actress is still pinching herself with all her successes and good fortunes.

“I’m incredibly blessed,” Kunis told the magazine. “I started acting when I was nine years old, and if you would have told me that, at 27, this is where I’d be, I wouldn’t have believed it.”

One thing she doesn’t really buy into though is the ‘sex symbol’ label and she downplays her hotness.

“I’m flattered, but I’m not that person,” Kunis says. “Sophia Loren is a sex symbol. If watching TiVo and eating Pinkberry in sweatpants is sexy, then I’m your gal.”

I dunno Mila. I suspect even in sweatpants you deserve the title.

Burn Notice is gearing up for it’s fifth season premiere in July and the USA Networks have announced two upcoming guest stars.

First up is Gavin Rossdale, lead singer of Bush and husband of Gwen Stefani.

The 45 year-old musician is going to spice things up by playing Armand, a world-class criminal who has “business interests” worldwide. He gets a call from Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar) for help, but in turn he expects payback – in the form of help with a heist.

This isn’t the first acting gig for Rossdale. He has had roles in the film Constantine and in an episode of the TV show Criminal Minds.

NCIS star David Dayan Fisher is taking a one time role this season as well. Fisher, who plays the recurring character of Trent Kort on the Mark Harmon/CBS show, will pop in to Miami as a ruthless mercenary. Hmmm – sounds awfully close to his NCIS character.

Burn Notice starring Jeffrey Donovan, Anwar, Bruce Campbell and Sharon Gless will premiere season five on June 23rd.

The Beverly Hills doctor who helped infamous Octomom conceive will have his license revoked by the State’s Medical Board of California.

Nadya Suleman‘s fertility specialist, Dr. Michael Kamrava was accused of being grossly negligent in his handling of Suleman’s case and two other female patients. The medical board panel ruled that Kamrava “did not exercise sound judgement.”

Besides the excessive number of fetuses transferred to Suleman, Kamrava is accused of failure to follow up on a 42 year-old patient who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer after receiving fertility treatments from the doctor.

The board rejected Kamrava’s assertion that he was distracted by the media attention surrounding Suleman’s octuplets and therefore did not follow through on the other woman’s abnormal test results.

As for blaming Suleman for not taking his recommendation to terminate some of the fetuses, the board issued a statement saying they found his reasoning to be suspect.

“To assign even a scintilla of responsibility to a patient who becomes pregnant and then elects not to follow through with a procedure that may jeopardize her (and possibly her family’s) prized objective is troubling and telling,” the public statement said.

“The board is not persuaded that relying on the public or the media to fulfill or supplement the board’s public protection role is sound policy.”

The license revocation goes into effect July 1st.

Amanda Brumfield, the 32 year-old estranged daughter of actor Billy Bob Thornton, was found guilty of aggravated manslaughter of a child in an Orlando, Florida courtroom.

Brumfield was acquitted of the more serious charges of first-degree murder and aggravated child-abuse.

Brumfield was caring for a friend’s child on an overnight stay in October of 2008 when the one year-0ld died of trauma to the little girl’s head.

Brumfeld has maintained that little Olivia Madison Garcia accidentally fell from her playpen and hit her head but authorities felt the injuries (a three-and-a-half inch fracture to the back of her skull) did not and could not have come from that kind of low height fall. Her death was ruled a homicide.

Jurors agreed with the prosecution and sentencing is set for July.

Brumfeld is Thornton’s child from his first marriage to Melissa Parish.

What could possibly ruin the long-standing, close friendship between Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston?

A disagreement in how Courteney is handling her divorce to David Arquette is the root of the falling out – if you believe the insider quoted by US Weekly.

The “tension” between Aniston, 42, and Cox, 46, centers on the latter’s Cougar Town costars Josh Hopkins and Brian Van Holt and how Courteney is callously cavorting with the two in public, humiliating David in Jennifer’s mind.

“Jen thinks Courteney is acting callous by running around with this guy but refusing to file divorce papers,” an Aniston source tells the magazine. “Like she’s playing mind games with David.”

It gets under Jennifer’s skin in the same way her ex-husband Brad Pitt handled himself with Angelina Jolie when her marriage dissolved, according to the Aniston pal.

“She hates watching Courteney do the same thing,” the source says.

I’ve got to be honest, this sounds like such a load of BS. Why does the media insist on portraying Aniston and the poor put-upon gal who is always unlucky in love and now friendship too?

I’m not the only one who thinks this sounds like hogwash. Jennifer’s rep is denying this as well.

“It’s completely false — there was no falling out,” Aniston’s rep told the LA Times. “Jennifer has always and continues to consider Courteney a dear and close friend.”

It’s also worth noting that Jennifer introduced her latest guy, Justin Theroux, to her friends, and Cox was included in the gathering last Friday.
