Ashlee Simpson’s New Guy: ‘Boardwalk Empire’ Actor Vincent Piazza

We haven’t seen too much of Ashlee Simpson since she filed for divorce from her husband, rocker Pete Wentz about four months ago but she has been quietly moving on with a new man and the low profile is about to change.

Simpson, 26, and Boardwalk Empire actor Vincent Piazza were spotted arm in arm at a park in New York City and a kiss was caught by the cameras.

Piazza even accompanied Ashlee to the airport late last week and kissed her goodbye as she headed back to Los Angeles.

And although Simpson and Wentz were hand-holding less than two months ago with their son, Bronx Mowgli, for a family day out, the reconciliation was brief and didn’t last.

Wentz has not been seen with or linked to anyone in a romantic way besides Ashlee.

Jake Gyllenhaal Guests On ‘Man VS Wild’ With Bear Grylls

We’ve seen the results of his workout regimen, but will the wilderness work him over?

Hollywood actor and outdoor enthusiast Jake Gyllenhaal will show off his wilder side when British survivalist host, Bear Grylls takes him to Iceland and the two conquer Mother Nature in an upcoming episode of Discovery Channel‘s Man Vs. Wild.

Active volcanos and glaciers are just some of the trying natural circumstances the duo have to face and Gyllenhaal goes everywhere and eats everything that Grylls does.

“For me, it’s all about discovery,” said Gyllenhaal.

He’ll need that adventurous attitude. Grylls has done a lot of nasty stuff (including eating rotten meat and drinking his own urine) but I’m sure Jake won’t have to handle anything quite that desperate.

The 37 year-old explorer did share that the actor comes out on top.

“The wild is always very revealing – not only physically but mentally. You’ve got to smile when it’s driving horizontal hail and be able to face your fears and just get on and do it – and on both of those accounts, Jake came up strong.”

Gyllenhaal isn’t the first celeb to partner up in a ‘Boys Gone Wild’ kinda episode. Will Ferrell joined up with Grylls for a 2009 show where the two men took on Northern Sweden in survivalist style.

Man Vs Wild kicks off six new episodes on Monday, July 11th at 9pm ET with the Gyllenhaal experience.

WATCH: Weird Al Yankovic’s Lady Gaga Parody

Weird Al Yankovic takes on Lady Gaga and her best (or worst) sartorial offerings in his latest spoof “Perform This Way.”

Gaga initially said no to the parody but thankfully she found her sense of humor and Yankovic produced an homage to the “Born This Way” singer’s costuming and sense of outrageous visuals.

“My mama told me when I was hatched: Act like a superstar, save your allowance, buy a bubble dress, and someday you will go far,” he sings while his head is CGI’d onto a dancer’s body.

Yankovic doesn’t let the Madonna comparisons go without touching on them as well.

Even little monsters should find the humor in this.

Christina Hendricks & Jon Hamm At Critics Choice TV Awards 2011

Christina Hendricks attended  the first Critics Choice TV Awards 2011 Luncheon at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA on Monday, June 20th.

The 36 year-old actress showed off her killer curves in a body-hugging BOSS Black Denna stretch dress with pleats and gathers at the neck.

The Mad Men actress was a winner in the Best Supporting Actress, Drama category. She shares it with Justified star Margo Martindale, as the actresses tied for the honor.

Her TV co-star, Jon Hamm checked out the event in a very dapper, crisp white suit and light blue shirt. So dang sexy it should be criminal! Arrest that man!

Hamm, 40, grabbed the award for Best Actor in a Drama Series.

Photos of winners Hendricks and Hamm are below.  (Read the article)

Michael Bay Says Steven Spielberg Wanted Megan Fox Fired From ‘Transformers’

If you didn’t know any better, you’d have to wonder if Megan Fox is still in the Transformers movie out this summer because no one can stop talking about her.

Case in point, Michael Bay is taking interview time to clarify who it was that wanted Fox fired from Transformers 3: Dark Side of the Moon.

After Fox spoke to Wonderland magazine and said that Bay wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he’s a nightmare to work for,” the director told GQ that producer Steven Spielberg wasn’t having anymore of her nonsense.

“She was in a different world, on her BlackBerry. You gotta stay focused. And you know, the Hitler thing. Steven said, ‘Fire her right now,’” Bay said.

Bay says he wasn’t really bothered by Fox running her mouth in the press but he takes a moment to mock-apologize to the actress, who apparently didn’t like long hours, according to the filmmaker.

“I wasn’t hurt, because I know that’s just Megan. Megan loves to get a response. And she does it in kind of the wrong way. I’m sorry, Megan. I’m sorry I made you work twelve hours. I’m sorry that I’m making you show up on time. Movies are not always warm and fuzzy.”

While Fox and Spielberg did not address the situation, Bay went on to say that everything is water under the bridge now.

“She [Megan] sent me a text three months ago. She said, “I hope you’re doing well.” I responded, “Who is this?” She goes, “Megan, you dork!” I said, “Oh, well, thank you, hope you’re well.” When you’re days and months on a set, it’s like a family. You say rude things and you make up.”

Transformers 3: Dark Side of the Moon starring Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox Rosie Hungtington-Whiteley comes out June 29th.

Courteney Cox At Critics Choice TV Awards 2011

Courteney Cox headed inside the Beverly Hills Hotel for the first Critics Choice TV Awards 2011 Luncheon in Beverly Hills, CA on Monday, June 20th.

The 47 year-old actress chose a Lanvin snakeskin dress with a gray belt and black strappy heels. It was kinda shapeless on her and not my favorite Courteney look but it wasn’t terrible.

Cox and Cougar Town did not take any awards but her costar, Busy Philipps did win for Best Supporting Actress, Comedy.

Philipps, 31, wore a very pretty blue tie-dye (when have you heard pretty and tie-dye in the same sentence?) dress with ruffle hem on the skirt from Juan Carlos Obando. She paired it with a side braid and awesome summery shoes that tied at the ankle.

PREVIEW: Britney Spears New Video “I Wanna Go” Teaser

Britney Spears launched her Femme Fatale tour with a show in Sacramento and she’s been making her way down the coast with stops in San Jose and Los Angeles this week.   Gotta keep the buzz going to drive those ticket sales (surely the reviews of her San Jose performance aren’t going to do the trick), so why not give the fans a little tease?

Brit-Brit’s new video, “I Wanna Go,” portrays a literal assault on the paparazzi.  Britney sings atop a car and slings a wired microphone like a pair of nunchuks to blast the paparazzi surrounding her on all sides.  I’m sure she’s thought about doing that in real life a time or thirteen thousand!

Take a peek at a 30-second teaser for “I Wanna Go” after the jump!

WATCH: Funny Or Die For The Ladies – Hot Dudes With Kittens!

The intro to Funny Or Die‘s newest video warns that it’s for the ladies, and once you get a look at it, you’ll agree. “Hot Dudes With Kittens” is exactly what the title promises:  a full 1:37 of mostly shirtless men, cuddling with incredibly adorable little kitties!

Some of the hot dudes in this clip include Sam Trammell (True Blood), Matt Lanter and Ryan Eggold of 90210,  and Romany Malco (The 40 Year Old Virgin).

This is one of Funny or Die’s best videos as far as I’m concerned.  I cannot stop watching it, and once I start watching, I cannot stop laughing.  It’s also a public service announcement for Kitten Rescue, a Los Angeles nonprofit that finds new homes for unwanted cats and kittens. Hooray for Kitten Rescue! Check it out!
