WATCH: Angelina Jolie In Cambodia For Louis Vuitton Commercial

When she first traveled to Cambodia several years ago, Angelina Jolie had no idea how much the country would come to mean to her.

She explains her love for the country and it’s personal significance while in the Siem Reap province as cameras roll in her new mini-film for Louis Vuitton’s Core Values advertising.

The 36 year-old actress shared her memories of seeing the country for the first time when she was an actress on the Tomb Raider set and later as a U.N. Goodwill Ambassador.

Jolie describes how she was unaware that live landmines still dotted the countryside and that the extreme poverty but the beauty of the country and the people captured her heart.

The actress goes on to share how she met and decided to adopt her son Maddox and that he and younger brother Pax have developed a taste for snacking on crickets.

The 10 minute ad is cut between Jolie’s personal recollections and the gorgeous cinematography of the quiet landscape and people of Cambodia.

Model William Levy Denies Romance With Jennifer Lopez

News of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony‘s split was announced late last week and it didn’t take long for rumors of a hook-up to hit the net.

Model and actor William Levy, who starred with JLo in the steamy beach romp video for her song “I’m Into You” is denying that his relationship with Jennifer was anything other than strictly business.

Levy, 30, has been dubbed the “Cuban Brad Pitt” and within weeks of filming on the Mexican beaches in April, Levy and his wife of 8 years, Elizabeth Gutierrez separated.

But Levy maintains that no hanky panky, other than what was scripted, went down between himself and Lopez.

“The only relationship there was or is, is a professional relationship. That’s all there’s ever been,” he told TMZ.

The Latin soap opera hunk had nothing but praise for the 41 year-old American Idol judge and his time working with her on set.

“It was wonderful. I felt very comfortable. She is a very sincere and fun person,” he said.

“The truth is I had a really great time,’ he added. “It was wonderful to see that someone so huge could be so down to earth, in addition to being really funny.”

Whatever the case, the dude’s got bigger problems now. Levy is accused of sexual battery of a minor and is facing a lawsuit from an encounter that took place in July of 2010.

Levy claims that yes, there was sex, she was not forced and that she told him she was 19 years old.

If you haven’t seen it already, check out the JLo video featuring Levy below. (Read the article)

Massive Trilogy ‘The Dark Tower’ Dropped By Universal, Future Uncertain

Stephen King‘s Dark Tower books were set to be made into films with Universal backing them, as of today Universal has dropped the whole project.

The studio has said, No Thanks. Universal has passed on going forward with the project, dealing a huge blow in the plan for Ron Howard to direct Akiva Goldsman’s script, with Brian Grazer, Goldsman and the autor producing and Javier Bardem starring as gunslinger Roland Deschain. Now, the filmmakers will have to find a new backer of what might well be the most ambitious movie project since Bob Shaye allowed Peter Jackson to shoot three installments of The Lord of the Rings back to back.

The films were supposed to start shooting this summer, but now the future of The Dark Tower is uncertain. This series of films is so massive and obviously expensive, it may be hard to find a studio to commit to making all three films. There was also supposed to be a TV mini series to supplement for the seven book series. Hopefully the filmmakers can get back on track and find a new studio to back it. Warner Brothers could easily pick up this series, especially since the Potter series has come to close with an amazing $480 million opening weekend! Time will tell, I’ll keep you updated on these mega-movies struggle to become a reality.

Kevin Costner Cast as Slave Driving Villain in Tarantino’s ‘Django Unchained’

Kevin Costner has been cast in Quentin Tarantino‘s next film Django Unchained.

Kevin Costner is in negotiations to join a cast that is headed by Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Samuel L. Jackson and Leonardo DiCaprio. Costner is in talks to play Ace Woody, and it’s a real surprise turn for an actor most associated with good guy roles. He’s the sadistic trainer of the male fighting slaves who entertain the white patrons of Candyland as well as the female slaves who are forced to be prostitutes.

Although Costner is definitely not one of my favorite actors, it’s refreshing to see him taking a role as a bad guy. I think the combination of Leonardo DiCaprio and Costner as the villains will make for some very interesting moments in this film. I can’t wait to see how this movie turns out!
