People reports today that Hollywood power couple Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are divorcing.

In their joint statement to the magazine, they said:

“We have decided to end our marriage.  This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters.  It is a painful time for all involved, and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.”

Wow.  WOW.  I have to say I’m honestly surprised. J-Lo seems so concerned with image; a divorce doesn’t seem like it would fit her schema.  Jennifer and Marc were married in 2004; is this a classic seven year itch?  Or perhaps Marc’s legal trouble with the IRS wasn’t to J-Lo’s exacting taste?

This is not the first time these two have been rumored to split:  they reportedly were on the way to divorce court back in 2009.

Victoria Beckham has spoken for the first time since giving birth to her daughter, Harper Seven, on July 10th in Los Angeles.

The tot weighed in at 7lbs, 10 oz and is the first girl for the former Spice Girl and her husband, soccer star David Beckham and Victoria expressed her happiness on twitter.

“Baby Harper is the most beautiful baby girl I have ever seen, I have fallen in love all over again!!!”

The Beckham Boys – Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz – are thrilled with a younger sister as well.

“We all feel so blessed and the boys love their baby sister so much!!! X VB” she tweeted.

The family is reportedly thinking of staying in the US although David’s contract with the LA Galaxy team ends this year and Beckham hasn’t ruled out playing for a British or European team.

However Victoria is enjoying her fashion and design career and wants her daughter to get a chance at the California lifestyle they way the Harper’s older brothers have had.

“Victoria has told David she has never felt happier and that they now have the perfect family.

“She wants Harper to grow up in a place where she can have the amazing childhood the boys have had.

“Where they live now, they can play on the beach at the weekend, swim outdoors every day and have a great lifestyle growing up in the sunshine.”

New couple AnnaLynne McCord and Dominic Purcell are not shy about their romance.

The new celebrity couple are together in LA while AnnaLynne films her CW show 90210 and Purcell is making frequent set visits.

The 23 year-old McCord and 41 year-old Purcell have been caught kissing and making out  in between her scenes and on the beach in Los Angeles.

McCord and Purcell met while filming Officer Down.

Purcell, best known for his role in Prison Break, is a divorced father of four kids. McCord and her on/off boyfriend, Twilight star Kellan Lutz, finally called it quits recently.

Zooey Deschanel was certainly busy last weekend.  She partied at the BAFTA Gala on Saturday.  On Sunday, she attended the premiere of Disney’s new Winnie The Pooh movie.   That’s got to be kind of a let-down, don’t you think?  One minute you’re hobnobbing with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the next you are on the red carpet for a questionable reboot of a children’s flick.  Man.

Zooey looked really cute in a white dress with an Impressionistic floral pattern, and peep toe pumps.   I like this dress, even though it reminds me of certain home decor from the 1970s:  wallpaper, bedspreads… if you were around then, you know what I’m talking about!

Kate Hudson and Matthew Bellamy became proud parents to a baby boy earlier this week but hadn’t decided on a name.

Today, the Muse front man tweeted the details.

“So happy! Just had a baby boy, Bingham “Bing” Hawn Bellamy. Born 7lb 12oz, on 9th July,” Matt posted.

With their son’s middle name, Hudson and Bellamy honored Kate’s mother, actress Goldie Hawn.

Hudson’s older son (with ex-husband Chris Robinson) Ryder Russell Robinson, also has had his middle name choosen to reflect her step-father, actor Kurt Russell.

Here’s the first official trailer for Disney‘s upcoming sci-fi epic John Carter.

This looks like it’s going to be really good! Not much has been seen or talked about with this movie, I think it’s largely due to it’s very basic title. Thankfully Disney has started to spread the news with this trailer, the potential for this movie is huge. I just hope it turns out as good as it looks! John Carter will be released in theaters on March 9th, 2012.

Here’s are the official first images of the new movie The Amazing Spider-Man, thanks to Entertainment Weekly.

It certainly looks different than the previous movies, I’m having a hard time wrapping my mind around it. Hopefully with the trailer release It’ll feel more like a solid movie. I’m sure as media saturation comes along the old movies will seem like the strange ones.
