Prince William & Kate Middleton At The Foundation Polo Challenge

Prince William and Kate Middleton stopped in Santa Barbara on their three-day tour of the U.S. to attend a polo match supporting William and his brother, Prince Harry, many charitable endeavors.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge hosted The Foundation Polo Challenge at the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club which sold tickets for $4000 to see William play polo. The proceeds went to the American Friends of the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry.

Kate wore an elegant Jenny Packham dress of hand-painted gray chinoiserie silk while William opted for white trousers & shirt with a navy blazer before changing into his polo gear.

In his speech, William joked to his celebrity audience that he wouldn’t be returning to the polo club unless he won in his upcoming polo match,
He said: “In terms of coming back, that depends on the result out there today. I’m not a good loser!”

The Duke also admitted his family were very jealous when they heard he would be playing at the Santa Barbara Polo and Racquet Club.
He continued: “My father, The Prince of Wales, and my brother, Harry, were as green as that grass outside when I told them I’d be here today.”

William and his team ended up winning the match 5 to 3 and he won a kiss from his new bride on the podium.

Mila Kunis Accepts Marine’s YouTube Date

There is one Marine who is getting a super hot date for this year’s Marine Corps Ball.

Sgt Scott Moore, who is currently serving with the 3rd Battalion 2nd Marines in Musa Qala, Afghanistan, posted a video on YouTube asking actress Mila Kunis to the formal dance, to be held on November 18th in Greenville, North Carolina.

“Hi Mila. It’s Sgt Moore, but you can call me Scottie. I just want to take a moment out of my day to invite you to the Marine Corps. Ball with yours truly,” the sergeant said on the video. “So take a second to think about it and get back to me. All right, bye now.”

Little did he know he would get his wish – Mila acccepted!

The 27 year-old star was doing press for Friends With Benefits with costar Justin Timberlake when the video was brought to their attention and JT was all over it.

“Have you seen this? Have you heard about this? You need to do it for your country,” Timberlake asked Kunis excitedly, before sending out a direct message to Moore. “I’m going to work on this, man. This needs to go down.”

After Mila realized it was not a joke, she consented and said “I’ll go. I’ll do it.”

How envious is every other soldier for not thinking of this! Very cool thing for Mila to do.

Adam Sandler’s ‘Jack And Jill’ Trailer Seems Like a Horrible Mistake

Here’s the trailer for the new Adam Sandler “comedy” Jack And Jill.

I don’t even know where to begin. This movie looks like the biggest steaming pile of bad jokes and horrible ideas possible. I can hardly believe that this one is real, and I’m sorely disappointed in Al Pacino for taking a part in this. Just awful, I’d rather get optical surgery than watch this movie.

Michael Chiklis Cast as Statham’s Villain in ‘Parker’

Michael Chiklis has been cast as the Villain in the upcoming Jason Statham action movie Parker.

Michael Chiklis has signed on to play Jason Statham’s nemesis in Parker, the Taylor Hackford-directed thriller based on the Donald E. Westlake novel series that will be distributed by FilmDistrict.

He’s usually the noble hero, so it’ll be cool to see him playing a baddie. Statham plays a thief with morals in this movie, so I wonder if Chiklis will be some sort of corrupt cop. We’ll just have to wait and see what kind of villain he’ll be. And don’t forget this movie marks Jennifer Lopez return to movies, hopefully we’ll know more details soon.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon was the #1 movie this past weekend (July 8-10, 2011) for it’s second week in a row making another solid $47.1 million. In the #2 slot was the new comedy Horrible Bosses which made a $28.3 million. The #3 slot went to Zookeeper starring Kevin James at $20 million, not great for a movie that cost $80 million to make. Leighton Meester Is Citrusy Bright For ‘Gossip Girl’

Filming for Gossip Girl got under way at the end of last week in New York City on a sunshine filled day and that wasn’t the only bright spot to light up the streets.

Leighton Meester donned a yellow ruffled top and a skirt with citrus print of oranges and lemons from Stella McCartney for her return to her Blair Waldorf character.

The costumer for the show added punches of orange with a Riki Rosetta handbag and Brian Atwood pumps. Gold accessories including bangle bracelets and a Harry Wintson canary ring finish off the pricy fashion her fashion-conscious (and mega rich) character wore.

Emma Watson Shines For ‘David Letterman’

Although the Ed Sullivan Theater was vandalized this morning, taping for tonight’s The Late Show with David Letterman goes on as planned and Harry Potter actress Emma Watson will work her magic on the studio audience today.

Emma, 21, wore a silver sparkle one shoulder dress with navy and black silk trim from Balmain for the taping.

Earlier in the day, Watson chatted with Today show hosts wearing a Prada shift dress accented by a Peter Pan collar.

Watson will sit in the chair for a quick interview with Letterman before changing and heading to the NY premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II tonight.

Wonder what she will choose for the red carpet tonight?

Check out photos from Emma’s visit to Letterman and her video interview with Today are below.  (Read the article)

First Two ‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows’ Posters Revealed

Here are the first two posters for the upcoming sequel Sherlock Holmes:A Game of Shadows starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law.

These posters look almost the same as the posters for the first movie, not impressive. The first footage will be released tuesday. Hopefully it’ll give us a taste of the new story and not feel rehashed like these posters.
