Here’s the brand new behind the scenes production video from the set of the upcoming Hobbit movies.

Peter Jackson has regained a lot of that weight that he lost, he looks more like he did while he shot The Lord of the Rings. Of course it’s not like he has time for the gym while shooting these mega-movies. It’s great to see things coming together, these movies are going to be great.

Victoria and David Beckham announced the arrival of their daughter over the weekend and now we know her name.

The soccer star posted a short note to his Facebook page:

“I am so proud and excited to announce the birth of our daughter Harper Seven Beckham.”She weighed a healthy 7lbs 10oz and arrived at 7.55 this morning, here in LA. Victoria is doing really well and her brothers are delighted to have a baby sister xx.”

Joining her older brothers Brooklyn, Cruz and Romeo, Harper Seven entered the Beckham world and her middle name is thought to represent David’s jersey number from his days on the Manchester United team.

Congrats from Victoria’s former Spice Girls band mates came from Mel B (who is expecting as well) and Emma Bunton.

From Mel B: “congrats!!! Yipeee another spice baby is born, damn it wish it was me this AM cos I feel like I’m about to POP!”

And from Emma: “Big kiss to @victoriabeckham can’t wait to meet your gorgeous little girl!”

It’s a great week for Demi Lovato fans!

The 18 year-old is dropping new music this week with her single “Skyscraper” debuting Tuesday and the accompanying video hitting Wednesday.

Demi posted on her blog for Seventeen magazine she’s hoping this provides hope to others struggling with the same problems she’s faced.

“My first single is really special to me — to me it symbolizes my journey from the person I was to the happy healthy person I am today, and the fact that people are able to rise above anything, despite the odds.”"With my new album, I’m hoping to provide inspiration for girls everywhere who are going through the same issues I’ve faced,” she said. “I think this will come through in a lot of the material.”

This will be Lovato’s first music since leaving a treatment facility earlier this year.

“This isn’t just a single or a song to me. This represents the strength of an incredibly difficult journey I’ve been on that will hopefully provide the faith and inspiration to others going through the hardest issues of their own. #STAYSTRONG #SKYSCAPER” Lovato posted to twitter.

The song will debut tomorrow (July 12th) on Ryan Seacrest‘s radio show, with Demi calling in to chat. The video is premiered the following day (Wednesday, July 13th) on E!News and Thursday, online fans can enjoy it courtesy of Vevo.

After a quiet, private ceremony last November, Monica and Shannon Brown were married a second time in Los Angeles in front of hundreds of friends and family.

The 30 year-old singer walked down the aisle of the Vibiana church in Los Angeles wearing a Stephan Roland gown and guests were asked to wear shades of blue to match the theme of the reception.

Guests included Ciara, LaLa Vasquez, Carmelo Anthony, LL Cool J, Jermaine Dupri and Kobe Bryant.

Monica met the 25 year-old LA Lakers player on the set of her video “Love All Over Me” and were wed the first time in a small, secret ceremony held at their home.

“Friday” singer Rebecca Black is capitalizing on her viral video popularity with a new single debuting next Monday.

The 14 year-old singer will release her new song, “My Moment” on July 18th on Black’s official website RebeccaBlackOnline and her YouTube channel simultaneously. The following day, you can purchase her latest on iTunes.

Black’s latest video will include footage of her high school life and her appearance as the host of the inaugural MTV Online Music Awards to tell her “fairytale story” and rise to fame.

The viral video teen has surpassed the number of views for Justin Bieber‘s “Baby.”

Black is also working on a five song EP to be released in August.

Jennifer Lopez might have been the most inappropriately dressed at the BAFTA Brits To Watch Gala, but Dana Delaney wins the Most Bizarre Accessory Award.

What in the WORLD is she wearing on her shoulder?  Let’s guess, shall we?   Is it….

The tail of the mammoth tiger she bagged on her last hunting trip?

A Muppet?

Or is she just glad to see us?

Jennifer Lopez made a rather startling choice of attire for the BAFTA Brits To Watch Gala on Saturday.  It may have been designer (Emilio Pucci), and it may have been a great shade of green, and it may have even looked pretty great on her.  But is this really what one wears to meet the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge?  There’s a time and a place for a skin-tight dress with cutouts, but this event was neither the time nor the place.  In a sea of modest, elegant garb, Jennifer stood out like a sore thumb, showing that you can take Jenny out of the block but you really cannot take the block out of Jenny.

Kate Hudson‘s wait is over:  People reports that she gave birth to a baby boy in Los Angeles on Saturday.

Dad is Kate’s fiance, Matthew Bellamy of the band Muse.  This is his first child, but Kate’s second:  big brother is seven year old Ryder Robinson, the actress’ son with Chris Robinson.

Jennifer Garner opted for a very sophisticated gown for the BAFTA Brits To Watch Gala.   There were a lot of one-shouldered dresses at the event, but Jennifer’s seemed most suited to the occasion.  It is tasteful and simple – something appropriate to wear when meeting William and Catherine, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.  It is also beautiful.  I love the draping at the hips, and the color is incredible.

Next up for Jennifer:  a turn as a young Miss Marple, mystery writer Agatha Christie‘s crime fighting grande dame.   Disney’s got this one, so you know it’s probably going to be goofy as hell.
