Pippa Middleton was snapped on a Starbucks run in London’s Chelsea district.  She stopped for coffee on her way to work – at Table Talk event planners? – and later was seen indulging in some retail therapy.

Pippa wore a short, graphic print dress with a cropped leather jacket and modest black heels.  She looked perfectly perfect, as always.  How did these Middleton girls get their amazing sense of style?  Their mom Carole must have taught them well!

Avril  Lavigne looked like a total 1980s rocker throwback – in a good way! – in Berlin for fashion week.  She was promoting her newly-expanded clothing line, Abbey Dawn.

The line debuted in 2008 with a small selection of hoodies, t-shirts and tanks.  It has gradually grown since, and fashion watchers at the Bread & Butter Fashion Show were treated to a preview of the full line, which includes dresses, denim, accessories, footwear, skirts, and fleece. Avril has also added a men’s collection, which was introduced at the show.

Abbey Dawn’s designs are said to be inspired by Avril’s “life, music and worldwide travels” but it’s pretty clear that a lot of her design ideas come from her own closet.   This is all stuff that she would wear herself.    The name “Abbey Dawn,” in case you were wondering, stems from a nickname Avril’s father gave her when she was a kid.

It’s Fashion Week in Berlin!  While this event does not get near the same attention as Fashion Week in Paris or New York, the city is awash in models all the same.  The lovely Georgia May Jagger was spotted leaving her hotel on the way to the Hugo Boss Spring/Summer 2012 show.    (Her sister Elizabeth Jagger also attended.)

Georgia rocked a red minidress (with matching lipstick) and leopard print heels.   I had a serious moment of deja vu when I saw these pictures, though:  her ensemble is essentially the same one we just saw on Lydia Hearst last week.  Pretty blond girl, red strapless mini, animal print pumps:  the new official uniform of young models everywhere?

Victoria Beckham is due to have her baby girl any day now, and if you didn’t know by the calendar, you’d certainly know by her growing baby bump.  Now, thanks to her hubby David Beckham, we know just how big that belly – usually artfully disguised under gorgeous designer maternity clothes – really is.    (Not that big, really, considering she’s 8.9999 months pregnant.)  David posted this picture on his Facebook page with the following caption:

Took this pic of Victoria while she wasn’t looking. She looks amazing, so close now to the baby being born!

I agree that Victoria looks amazing.  I also find it amazing that she looks that artful and amazing just hanging around at home.  All snark aside, it’s a gorgeous photo.   I can’t wait to see photos of little Miss Beckham when she’s born!

Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied have revealed their newborn son’s name.

Aleph Portman-Millepied was born on June 14th and his name reflects Portman’s Jewish heritage.

Aleph is the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet and also is the number 1. It can have meanings of “leader” and “oneness with God” and has more mystical interpretations too.

Its esoteric meaning in Judaic Kabbalah, as denoted in the theological treaty Sefer-ha-Bahir, relates to the origin of the universe, the “primordial one that contains all numbers.”

Portman was born in Israel and is proud of her heritage and the choice reflects that pride.

In March when it surfaced that then Christian Dior head designer John Galliano was recorded making terrible anti-Semitic statements, the Black Swan star condemned Galliano and refused to be associated with him any more.

Emma Roberts and Chord Overstreet attended the Harry Potter after party at Old Billingsgate Market in London together, adding more fuel to the dating rumors surrounding the pair.

Roberts, 20, was glam in a mocha colored Max Mara dress with sheer black overlay panels down the sides and black bow at the waist. Overstreet, 22, was super casual in jeans and long-sleeve light blue tee.

Earlier in the week, the two were spotted by photographers shopping in the Notting Hill Gate area of London. Although the two have not been snapped holding hands or kissing, the romance rumors are in full force.

Overstreet’s high profile coupling with Roberts isn’t the only thing about the good-looking guy that’s getting him noticed.

The actor was not picked up by Glee as a cast regular this year. He may or may not return to the TV show that put him on the map, but either way, the amount of publicity he’s picked up in the last week should be a bonus for him to book something.

Katie Holmes was on hand for the opening night of the Beauty Culture exhibit at The Annenburg Space for Photography in Century City, California on Thursday, May 19th.

Holmes, 32, chose an olive green dress with decorative edging from Madwell and a Lanvin white jacket. She kept her make up neutral and hair long and natural for the event.

The actress was in South Beach earlier in the week while her husband Tom Cruise, films Rock of Ages and took daughter Suri for a swim.

Freida Pinto and boyfriend Dev Patel get cozy on the red carpet at amFAR’s Cinema Against AIDS 2011 benefit gala at the Hotel du Cap during the 2011 Cannes Film Festival on Thursday (May 19) in Antibes, France.

Pinto, 26, chose a short lurex, metallic Lanvin pleated dress instead of the floor length gowns most attendees wore. It’s not a bad choice, and she’s stunning as always, but it needs different shoes and maybe a different belt to give it the edge it should have.

Patel has on a mocha colored suit from Burberry with a touch of sheen.

Real Housewives of New York stars Ramona Singer and Jill Zarin are continuing to wage their pinot grigio war from the episode to their twitter/blog/Facebook pages.

To Auction or Not To Auction, That is the Question:

On Thursday’s episode, Zarin hosted a fundraiser to help teens and young people suffering because of bullying. Swag bags included Jill’s book and Countess LuAnn de Lesseps‘ CD (ugh! hope there was something else in those bags…)

The drama ensued when Ramona came with a case of her Ramona Singer label pinot grigio, that Zarin was under the impression was supposed to be auctioned off for charity. Ramona was under no such ideal and proceeded to strongly suggest to staff they serve her, promptly.

Ramona and Jill got into at the event, with Jill confronting her about the auction. Ramona claims Jill’s assistant told her to bring her own wine to drink and now the ladies have taken up the battle online.
