Daniel Radcliffe ‘Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part II’ Premiere

Daniel Radcliffe walks the red carpet in Trafalgar Square for the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II today in London.

The actor chose a custom three piece Simon Spurr suit in a light gray for the event.

Radcliffe, who was in New York City performing in the Broadway hit How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying just yesterday, revealed his struggle with alcohol while filming this last HP installment.

“I became so reliant on [alcohol] to enjoy stuff,” the 21 year-old actor said.

“I really got away with that because there were many instances when a paparazzi shot like that could have been taken.”

Daniel says he now realizes “There’s no shame in enjoying a quiet life.”

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II opens in the U.S. on July 15th.

Emma Watson: Beautiful Ballgown At ‘Harry Potter’ Premiere

The final HP film, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part II premieres in London today at Trafalgar Square with all eyes on Emma Watson‘s red carpet choice and she does not disappoint.

Watson was breathtaking in a sleeveless gown with embroidered bodice and layers of tulle for the skirt from Oscar de la Renta. What a fantastic gown to wear.

The 21 year-old star covers UK Harper’s Bazaar and told the magazine that fashion is just downright mean in ways.

“It can be savage and cruel, in that it’s prescriptive — you have to look a certain way and fit a certain mould — but also in the way it’s made.”

Watson just wrapped filming on The Perks of Being A Wallflower with Logan Lerman and Nina Dobrev.

Deathly Hallows Part II opens in the U.S. on July 15th.

Bjork Shows Us The Future In ‘Dazed & Confused’ August 2011 – Issue #200

Bjork is the guest editor and cover model for Dazed & Confused’s 200th issue.   She exhorts readers to “Accelerate!” while promising to “show you the future with some of the most mind-bending scientists, artists and tech geeks in the world.”  I am sure this is a totally cutting-edge compilation of some of the smartest people in the universe, and I mean that quite literally.   This is Bjork after all, and you just never know with her.

Dazed & Confused was founded in 1992 by the irreverent photographer Rankin.  (That would be the same Rankin who likes to take naked  pictures of Heidi Klum.)  The August 2011 issue is on sale now.  Do not miss out!

Lindsay Lohan’s August Cover Of Italia Vanity Fair

Lindsay Lohan and is on the cover of the August issue of Italian Vanity Fair.

The 25 year-old actress gives the camera her all in a gingham bustier top and white short shorts and tells the magazine she’s not really the type of criminal that should ever have been in jail.

“Unless you’re a killer, I don’t see a reason to stay there. I never hurt anyone but myself,” Lohan proclaimed.

The DUI – lucky she didn’t hurt anyone. The jewelry she stole – I suppose in her mind the owners weren’t hurt when she left with their product without paying. Oh Lindsay.

Lohan also mentions she has a permit for a gun, showing it to the photographer, who was able to take the pictures of Lohan because she was on house arrest – anyone catching the odd irony here?

But Lohan, ever the optimist, wants to get back to work and put her troubles behind her.

“In October, I’ll begin work [on Gotti: Three Generations.] I hope to spend next year on set,” she told Italia Vanity Fair.

“It was all a whirlwind but I’m not a kid anymore. I’m 24 [the interview was conducted just prior to her 25th birthday on July 2nd] and I’ve made a lot of mistakes but I feel like if I can just stay focused I can achieve what I want to achieve.”

With this cover and story, will American Vanity Fair still have her for the September issue as rumored? But more importantly, do her issues sell?

Either way, check out her photos below.  (Read the article)

Elizabeth Hurley Inks ‘Gossip Girl’ Guest Role

The Upper East Side of Gossip Girl has never been lacking in the babe department but one new star gives the cast an added boost.

Elizabeth Hurley has signed on to a multi-episode storyline as Diana Payne, a woman who will shake up the usual players.

TVLine says Hurley’s character is “a sexy, smart, self-made media mogul and all-around force to be reckoned with. Diana’s entrance on the Upper East Side will change the lives of all our characters — including, and especially, Gossip Girl herself.”

Will Diana Payne be a new boss to Blair (Leighton Meester) or Dan (Penn Badgley) perhaps? Or embroiled in a publishing scandal with Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) and the stolen manuscript of Dan’s she passed off as her own? Even though Szohr is no longer a regular, she could be invited back for a few episodes as well.

Lots of possibilities for this character.

When season six starts up, Serena (Blake Lively) is in Los Angeles working with a film director when Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Nate (Chace Crawford) pay her a visit. Blair is behind in NYC planning her wedding to Prince Louis (Hugo Becker.)

Pink Explains How Baby Willow Sage Got Her Name

Singer Pink and her husband Carey Hart named their new baby girl, born on June 2, Willow Sage Hart.   (See a totally adorable picture of Willow at People.com.) In case you were wondering how they chose her name, Pink offers this explanation:

“The willow is my favorite tree. I grew up near one. It’s the most flexible tree in nature and nothing can break it  — no wind, no elements.  It can bend and withstand anything. I love that sentiment. I want that for her.”

“Sage is cleansing and sacred.  And it sounded great together. It doesn’t hurt that her last name is Hart — flexible cleansed heart.”

I do really like the names Willow and Sage, even if they sound a bit hippie-ish.  I especially like the imagery of the willow tree.  But “flexible cleansed heart” sounds like the end result of a cardiac surgery, to be perfectly honest.   And do you think Pink knows that a “hart” is not a “heart” but a male red deer?   “Flexible cleansed male red deer” doesn’t sound much better, though.

Brand New ‘Adventures of Tintin’ Image

Here’s a fresh new image from the upcoming Steven Spielberg movie The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn.

Paramount Pictures and Columbia Pictures Present “The Adventures of Tintin” directed by Steven Spielberg from a screenplay by Steven Moffat and Edgar Wright & Joe Cornish. Starring Jamie Bell (“Billy Elliot,” “Defiance”) as Tintin, the intrepid young reporter whose relentless pursuit of a good story thrusts him into a world of high adventure, and Daniel Craig (“Quantum of Solace,” “Defiance”) as the nefarious Red Rackham.

This image isn’t very revealing other than the fact that it’s giving a very clear view of our hero. The teaser trailer was very purposefully concealing of his face, which to me seems pointless anyway. The movie looks cool, and it’s Steven Spielberg, but his last movie Indiana Jones 4 was pretty bad in my opinion. I hope this is a return to form for him.
