Emma Watson Was Crushing On ‘Harry Potter’ Costar Tom Felton

Emma Watson comes clean about who was her Harry Potter crush and despite everyone linking her through the years to costars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, neither turned the actress’ head.

It turns out, it was none other than Draco Malfoy actor Tom Felton who sent Emma’s pre-teenage heart racing.

Watson, 21, tells Seventeen magazine that her and Felton are still close and they can share a laugh about the whole thing.

“For the first two movies, I had a huge crush on Tom Felton,” Emma tells the magazine. “He was my first crush. He totally knows. We talked about it – we still laugh about it. We are really good friends now, and that’s cool.”

Having a crush on someone you know is something Emma gets, but fantasizing about someone you’ve never met is something she can’t fathom.

“I’ve never understood having crushes on people who you don’t know in real life. I only crush on people I meet. I mean, I can appreciate that someone is good-looking, obviously, but I don’t intend to fantasize about people I don’t know!”

Catch Emma on the cover of Seventeen on sale July 5th.
