Here’s the trailer for the upcoming sci-fi movie In Time starring Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried.

Although I generally like sci-fi movies, this just doesn’t look like it’s going to be very good. The concept is interesting, but it just doesn’t grab me like it probably should. Perhaps this movie would look better if it didn’t give so much away in the trailer, in any case, I won’t be rushing out to see this one. What do you think?

An official for the coroner’s office in London has released the results of a preliminary autopsy for singer Amy Winehouse, who died at her home on Saturday.

Based on an examination of the scene and the preliminary examination, the coroner and police determined Winehouse’s death to be “non-suspicious.”    There was no evidence of drug use or paraphernalia found.

Toxicology and histology tests are scheduled to be carried out today.   The Daily Mail reports that the coroner should be releasing more information soon; however, toxicology results generally take some time, at least two weeks.

Our thoughts continue to be with Amy’s family and friends.

What a rare treat to see pictures of Lucy Lawless come through the wire.  (Yeah, I was a huge Xena: Warrior Princess fan back in the day.)   This weekend,  Lucy was in San Diego for a Comic-Con panel promoting her current project, the second season of the Spartacus series on Starz Network.

Lucy was rather tight-lipped about the future of her character, Lucretia, a scheming Roman woman with a lust for power and reasons to seek revenge.   However, she did share some details on her career that true fans will enjoy.

She said she’s drawn to sci-fi and fantasy roles (Xena, Spartacus, Battlestar Galactica) for a couple of reasons.   “I do it to experience a parallel existence safely, w/o consequence… I like to experience extreme worlds.”

Interestingly, she also said she’s not terribly fond of one of the staples of the genre – the action scene.  However, former co-star Bruce Campbell taught her a positive thinking trick to get through them.

Apparently, whenever he was told it was time to shoot a fight scene, he’d say “Excellent!” Lawless says that’s a good technique. “If you can’t change it, you better be happy about it, right? It’s time to do your taxes… Excellent!”

A Banksy style tribute to the late singer Amy Winehouse appeared in Camden, North London near her favorite pub.

The graffiti style of artwork shows Amy with angel wings, her beehive hairdo and tattoos and wearing a short skirt. The art appeared near Hawleys Arms Pub, which Amy frequented.

It was finally confirmed – it is not a Banksy work – the artist’s rep said. It is thought to be a work by another artist who is known as Pegasus.

Winehouse died on July 23rd at her home. She was 27 years old. A private burial ceremony is set to take place on July 26th.

Russell Brand wrote a heartfelt message for his long time friend Amy Winehouse and the very talented but also very addicted person she was and reflecting on her life. Winehouse, 27, died in her home in London on Saturday.

The news of her death prompted Brand, 36, to recall the first time her met and heard her sing.

“I arrived late and as I made my way to the audience through the plastic smiles and plastic cups I heard the rolling, wondrous resonance of a female vocal. Entering the space I saw Amy on stage with [Paul] Weller and his band; and then the awe. The awe that envelops when witnessing a genius. From her oddly dainty presence that voice, a voice that seemed not to come from her but from somewhere beyond even Billie [Holiday] and Ella [Fitzgerald], from the font of all greatness. A voice that was filled with such power and pain that it was at once entirely human yet laced with the divine. My ears, my mouth, my heart and mind all instantly opened,” Russell wrote.

“Winehouse. Winehouse? Winehouse! That twerp, all eyeliner and lager dithering up Chalk Farm Road under a back-combed barnet, the lips that I’d only seen clenching a fishwife fag and dribbling curses now a portal for this holy sound. So now I knew. She wasn’t just some hapless wannabe, yet another pissed up nit who was never gonna make it, nor was she even a ten-a-penny-chanteuse enjoying her fifteen minutes. She was a f*****g genius.”

It’s an unceremonious end to their relationship, but unfortunately, Kristin Cavallari was reportedly “dumped” by Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler and their wedding is off.

The former Laguna Hills star, 24, began dating the 28 year-old pro athlete about 10 months ago and Cutler proposed to her while they vacationed in Mexico in April.

The reality star was busy planning her wedding, buying a Monique Lhuillier dress for the big day and she tweeted her thanks to her friends for an engagement party just last week, but Cutler got cold feet somewhere along the way.

“She got dumped,” a source tells People. “She’s absolutely devastated. She can’t believe this is happening.”

Cavallari was ready to move to Chicago for her man and in May she was showing off her ring at the Something Borrowed premiere.

Neither of the couple’s reps have responded to requests for confirmation, but Kristin was reported out this weekend without her engagement ring telling friends about the breakup.

In last night’s episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian is disturbed when a rash develops on her legs just before she is set to shoot a commercial.

Kardashian heads to the dermatologist (and tells him her sister Khloe thought she had ringworm) where he diagnoses her with psoriasis, a condition which her mother, Kris Jenner has as well.

“I’d heard of it before because my mom has always had it, but she didn’t have red flaky dots all over her,” the 30-year-old star said.

“When I gain a pound, it’s in the headlines, so imagine what the tabloids will do to me when they see all these spots.”

With her dermatologist telling her lifestyle, travel and food are among the things that can exacerbate the problem, Kim worries about the impact it will have on her career.

She talks to her mom about it but Kris isn’t very sympathetic. Kris tells her to just deal with it, it’s not the end of the world.

On the day of the shoot, Kim is late but when she finally arrives, she rushes to the make-up artists and tells her the deal. She assures Kim it’s not a problem and can cover it.

Kris’ 10% cut is saved! WHEW!

Robert Pattinson might be tired of the amount of attention his hair gets but this isn’t stopping people from obsessing about his ‘do.

The 25 year-old actor was in San Diego for the Twilight: Breaking Dawn panel at Comic-Con with a new, half-shaved hair cut that looks like he did it himself.

Regardless of whether he did it himself (probably not) it turns out it’s for his role in Cosmopolis, which he’s currently filming.

Pattinson stood next to both on and off-screen girlfriend Kristen Stewart who didn’t seem to mind the haphazard handling of his hair.

It for his art, baby!

The Wrath of Con party is billed as the hottest party at Comic-Con, and the thermometer surely rose at Stingaree in San Diego when both Channing Tatum (Dear John) and Kellan Lutz (Twilight) walked in.

No elaborate Comic-Con cosplay for these two:  both guys chose classic, casual looks for the event.  Channing went for a hipster-preppy look with a classic grandfather cardigan, while  Kellan showed off his arms in a black t-shirt.
