There is no stopping Jessica Simpson‘s growing product line.  She sells clothes, shoes, handbags, accessories, perfume, luggage and now, in a new deal with Zales, diamond jewelry.

Theo Killion, CEO of Zale Corporation, gushed about the partnership:

Jessica Simpson is an established designer brand with great awareness and millions of fans throughout the world, while Zale is one of the best known names in fine jewelry. For her part, Jessica sounds equally excited.

“I have always wanted to design fine jewelry and am very excited to launch a new collection exclusively at Zale.  Jewelry is a very personal expression that celebrates who you are and this collection is very much a reflection of who I am.  With their expertise in diamonds, Zale is the perfect partner. I can’t wait to bring beautiful diamond jewelry to women and girls everywhere as part of the Jessica Simpson Collection.”

The Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend Collection will range in price from $79.99 to $999, and will be available in stores in October – just in time for the holiday season.   Imagine that.

This new venture is likely to push her fashion empire above $1 billion.  That’s “billion” with a “b”.

A lawyer in Tennessee has sent a formal letter to Vivid Entertainment to try to purchase the rights to the Kim Kardashian and Ray J sex tape.

Steve Hirsch, head of Vivid told TMZ the request was from a “mystery” buyer (let’s be honest, it’s Kim or her momager Kris Jenner).

“I was approached by a private party who has asked us about looking into the possibility of acquiring all rights of the Vivid, ‘Kim Kardashian Sex Tape.’”

The lawyer adds, “The party we represent does not intend to distribute or broadcast the ‘tape,’ but hopes to completely remove it from the market.”

Hirsch says he’s willing to negotiate a possible buy back but the price isn’t cheap.

“Based on its long term value, it looks like $30 million would be a starting point for a discussion on all of the rights.”

Not only is he open to the idea of selling the tape, Hirsch said he’d deal with the reality TV star directly if she wanted.

He also said, “I have no idea who is behind this offer … but If it’s Kim, I have a tremendous amount of respect for her. She has my number and can call me any time.”

Here’s the poster for the upcoming drama The Ides of March starring George Clooney and Ryan Gosling.

This movie looks like it’s going to be a good political drama, something we know George Clooney is good at. Remember, he directed Good Night, and Good Luck. in 2005, which was an excellent film! Needless to say I have high hopes for this one. I hope it lives up to the expectations.

The season 13 Dancing With the Stars pairings of professional dancers and celebrities was announced by ABC earlier today on Good Morning America and it’s quite an intriguing set this year.

Chaz Bono is paired with Lacey Schwimmer who has danced with Lance Bass, Steve-O, Mark Dacascos and Kyle Massey in the past.

Triple champ Derek Hough returns after a year off to spin Ricki Lake around the ballroom floor. Hough was partnered with Nicole Scherzinger, Brooke Burke and Jennifer Grey for his three season wins.

New pro Valentin Chmerkovskiy has George Clooney‘s ex-girlfriend and model Elisabetta Canalis for a partner. Maksim‘s younger brother is going to try to give him and professional soccer goalie Hope Solo a run for their money.

T.I. has been released from prison early, after serving 10 months for violating his parole.

The rapper (real name Clifford Joseph Harris Jr.) was headed to a halfway house in Atlanta to finish out his remaining time.

T.I. was initially arrested and served seven months in prison back in 2009 for attempting to buy illegal weapons from an undercover agent. He was still on probation from that charge when he was arrested with 4 ecstasy pills in his possession.

“Feels great to be back where I belong…Back in the arms of those who need me the most,” he tweeted after his release. “The storm is over & da sun back out. IT’S OUR TIME TO SHINE SHAWTY!!!!! Welcome to the beginning of our Happy Ending!!!!”

The rapper has a lot to look forward to. T.I. and his wife, Tameka “Tiny“ Cottie are already taking part in a new reality show for VH1 and he has a book coming out. Power and Beauty will be released in October.

Evelyn Lozada and Chad Ochocinco have settled in to their new digs in Foxboro, Mass – where the New England Patriots (Chad’s team) have their headquarters but their Florida home has a pretty special headboard.

The couple, who will reportedly marry next summer, have a two custom built fish tank from the guys of Animal Planet’s new show Tanked including one huge aquarium surrounding their bed.

Ochocinco has said Lozada is pretty taken with watching the fish every night.

In February Chad tweeted: @Evelynlozada stares at these damn fish every time before bed #smh

The Boston Herald caught up with brothers-in-law and stars of Tanked, Wayde King and Brett Raymer to talk about the aquariums and Chad.

“We built two for (Ochocinco’s) house,” King and Raymer said. “We made a shark tank for his living room and an arch tank for his bed, so when he sleeps he can look up at the fish.”

The guys also said Chad is much more approachable than you’d think

“He was cool as heck,” said King. “We hung on the couch, talked about going out, sports, and he let me take pictures in front of his Lamborghini. He’s a really down-to-earth cool guy.”

It’s going to be a great start to 2012 for Robert Downey Jr. and his wife Susan.

The couple are expecting their first child together, who will arrive in February of next year!

“Robert and Susan could not be more excited over this news,” his rep tells People. “They can’t wait to welcome this new baby into their wonderful family.”

Downey Jr. also said his wish was for a girl.

“I think we should probably try to have a girl because I don’t want another male entity to have to compete,” he said during the Due Date promo tour. “I don’t want Indio to feel there’s another boy in my life.”

Robert, 46, and Susan, 37, met on the set of the film Gothika and were married in 2005. He has a 17 year-old son, Indio, with his ex-wife Deborah Falconer.

Sarah Jessica Parker is in Moscow, promoting her film I Don’t Know How She Does It.   She wore a red gown by Giambattista Valli Couture for an appearance and screening at the Ritz Carlton.

This is such a lovely dress, but it’s all wrong for SJP.  Maybe she needs to lose the cape; it just makes her look like she’s wearing a costume.  I would love to see someone else wear this, someone who could really pull it off.  Helen Mirren comes to mind.
