Hollywood stars live in some pretty amazing homes but Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith opened up the doors to their gorgeous home for the September issue of Architectural Digest.

The two stars are photographed with their children, Jaden and Willow, and Will’s son Trey from his first marriage, at their 25,000 square-foot estate in Calabasas, California showing the craftsmanship and intimacy of the house.

“For Will and me this home was always a spiritual endeavor,” Jada says. “We’re very earthy, organic people. We wanted to create a family retreat, something made by hand and as natural as possible, something that ties back to the land.”

Will said it was his costar, Gene Hackman, whose home in Arizona gave him the inspiration to go adobe.

“Gene loves Santa Fe,” Will says. “He has a house there, and he always talked about it. And then Wild Wild West came up, and we were shooting outside of Santa Fe. So I thought, Let me go see Gene’s house.” He admired what he saw. “I just loved that adobe flavor and feeling.”

Jessica Alba graces the August cover for Allure magazine.

The Machete actress talks about her post-baby body and says she’s struggling like most mom’s to get back to pre-baby weight.

“I can’t ever get down to the weight I was before I had Honor. My body’s just different,” she says. “The jeans just sort of zip up differently, and things hang differently. It’s a miracle what happens, but you definitely are different afterwards. Unless you’re Gisele [Bundchen].”

Alba also says she isn’t into the idea of plastic surgery.

“That’s just so bizarre, because the physical is so fleeting, anyway, and when you’re in a relationship, the physical lasts for maximum, two years.”She continued, “You’re pregnant. Your stomach is not going to be flat. You’re not ‘flaunting’ it; you’re just walking to the store or a across a parking lot.”

Olivia Wilde grabbed the red carpet spotlight on Monday night at the premiere of her new movie The Change Up at the Regency Village Theater in Los Angeles.

The newly single actress opted for a body hugging crimson dress with molded shoulders from Antonio Berardi. She kept her hair straight and sleek with bangs just dusting her eyebrows.

Wilde said spoke about the appeal of the movie’s premise – a body-switching comedy.

“I think it’s a fantasy most people have had,” she told the LA Times. And I think it’s fun to see people in awkward situations. The thing about body-switching is the stakes are inevitably always high.”

Actress Dianna Agron shows off her wavy tresses on the way in to the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City to sit down and chat with David Letteman.

The Glee star, who arrived for the taping in a Stella McCartney LBD, told the late night host she had to have her nose fixed after breaking it twice and hiding it from her mom. The first time it happened at a high school party when she got in between some fighting girls.

“The first time I didn’t go to the doctor because I didn’t want to tell my mom what had happened and she would never let me out of the house.”

Agron, 25, says the next time was also at a party and by then doctors told her she had a deviated septum she needed to repair.

“I couldn’t get it fixed because we were in the middle of doing this concert tour and we were filming. We had a day off and I met up with some of my friends and we were dancing. And again, there was another collision of sorts – I must be turning too quickly, people don’t see me coming or something – but it’s fixed now!”

Anne Hathaway‘s love life hasn’t always gone as planned – who’s has? – but for the actress, the very public heartache she encountered when her boyfriend of 4 years, Rafaello Follieri, was convicted of fraud and money laundering was not a good reason for her to pity herself above others.

“[P]eople deal with horrible things all the time,” she told UK Marie Claire for the September issue. “Downstairs in this pub someone has a parent who is battling cancer. Someone has just lost their job. You’re right. Life is really f***ed up and it’s really painful sometimes.”

Instead she told the magazine she planned to go it alone for a bit and just carry on – until she met Adam Shulman and he changed all that for her.

“Yes, I have a boyfriend,” Hathaway confesses. “And yes, I am very much in love with him. But you do need to keep your private life private. Adam totally ruined my plan. I was really actually looking forward to a little alone time and then I fell in love like a fool!”

She also says she’s approaching her 30th birthday not with trepidation but with a new sense of freedom she believes women begin enjoying.

“I think it’s the beginning of a process that really blossoms when you hit 30,” Hathaway said. “It’s when you stop apologising for who you are. It’s nice not to know things and that’s OK. People aren’t going to judge you for asking questions. That’s such a freedom.”

Anne’s issue goes on sale in the UK August 4th.

Cowboys & Aliens beat the The Smurfs this past weekend, but just barely! Cowboys & Aliens came in at $36.4 million, with The Smurfs trailing at #2 with $35.6 million. Captain America and Harry Potter snatched #3 and #4 on the chart. Crazy, Stupid, Love opened at #5 with $19.1 million. No other movies opened in the top ten this week.

Here’s the latest on set image from The Dark Knight Rises.

It’s a great shot, obviously Bane takes some serious beating down from Batman. I’m guessing Batman will receive more than  his fair share of punishment in the movie too. The most striking thing about this image to me is his utility belt, it’s gold, much like the old school yellow belt. Definitely not something I would have expected for the modern Batman franchise, but it still works.
