Demi Lovato stepped out on the red carpet for the 2011 Do Something Awards at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.

The 18 year-old singer wore a flirty silver and white halter dress from Burning Torch with Guiseppe Zanotti heels.

Lovato performed her single “Skyscraper” for the audience and wowed the crowd with her moving rendition of her first single from her upcoming solo album Unbroken.

Leighton Meester headed into the DKMS 5th Annual Gala at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City on Thursday, April 28th.

The Gossip Girl star chose a lovely chocolate satin one shoulder dress from Vera Wang.

The 25 year-old actress is the latest face for Vera Wang fragrance and spent the day lighting the Empire State building in red and white to raise awareness for the need for bone marrow donors.

Georgia May Jagger, the daughter of singer Mick Jagger and model Jerry Hall, was in Dublin yesterday launching the limited edition tote for “Fight Like A Girl.”

Designed by Marc Jacobs in aid of Fashion Targets Breast Cancer in Ireland 7th Annual Campaign, the tote features Jacobs character, Miss Marc, wearing boxing gloves, a tank top with the ‘Fight’ slogan emblazoned on it and big grin.

The totes are available at Brown Thomas luxury department stores in Ireland and proceeds from the sale go to Action Breast Cancer in Ireland.

The Hunger Games isn’t due out until March 2012 but we are getting some sneak peaks at the actors in costume.

Jennifer Lawrence, cast as Katniss Everedeen, Liam Hemsworth plays Gale Hawthorne and Josh Hutcherson will be Peeta Mellark in the film, are all getting down and dirty in the photos below.

Gary Ross is directing the talented trio for the big screen adaptation of Suzanne Collins highly successful series of books which finds teenagers in a game of life and death, fighting for survival and food.

From the photos below, the dystopian future is coming together nicely. Lionsgate is banking on this becoming the next Harry Potter and Twilight kinds of franchises – lots of ink, lots of accolades and lots of money.

Ashley Benson of Pretty Little Liars gets the September cover of Seventeen magazine.

The 21 year-old talked about her eclectic style and her flirtation with Joe Jonas.

On her personal sense of style: “When I was younger, I went through a lot of different phases. One day I’d be punk rock, and the next I would be tomboyish, and then I would be really girly. I was so weird. My two best friends and I were just crazy and goofy!”

On her and Jonas – the next cute couple – she says YES!: “He tweeted me,” she explained. “We know each other just from hanging around. It’s so funny because once you tweet someone, everybody sees it. And they’re like, ‘Oh my God, is she going out with Joe Jonas?’ I got so many messages, and the next day it’s all over these gossip sites, ‘She’s going out with Joe Jonas!’ I was like, ‘Oh no! I’m not going out with him!’ We’re just very friendly. I think we could make a cute couple, definitely,” she admitted. “I could definitely see us being more than friends.”

Katie Holmes walked the black carpet of the 2011 MTV VMAs at the Nokia Theatre LA Live in Los Angeles on Sunday, August 28th.

The Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark star wore a black and tan halter dress from Azzedine Alaia and tan lace up booties from Proenza Schouler.

She kept her down and accessories minimal (although I could do without the watch) for an overall great look. But why is standing with her legs at odd angles?

The season 13 cast of Dancing with The Stars has come out a little early.

The announcement was supposed to happen during the Bachelor Pad 2 episode airing tonight however DWTSGossip tweeted what it says is the complete list of performers for the new season.

Chaz Bono, David Arquette, Rob Kardashian and Kristin Cavallari are no surprises – their names have been out for a while but there are a few unexpected names added to the list.

“nancy grace, kristin cavalleri, riki lake, chynna phillips, hope solis, elizabetta canalis. david arquette,rob kardashian,ryan oneal, Jr. martinez, chaz bono, ron artest” according to the tweet.

Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi and Queen Latifah‘s names had been tossed around but both shot down those rumors.

The show was aiming for more A-listers but it certainly fell short there, although there are some interesting names on this list.

Matthew Fox spent Sunday in police custody after being detained by authorities for allegedly assaulting a female bus driver.

The 45 year-old actor was attempting to board a private bus outside a bar in Cleveland when the female driver told him he was not a guest and would have to leave.

The driver, Heather Bormann, said that Fox, who she says was heavily inebriated, then proceeded to punch her in the stomach area, crotch and breast.

Bormann took a swing at the LOST star and hit him in the jaw to defend herself from his attack, she told TMZ.

“This was my self-defense,” Bormann says … adding, “This was the only way I could protect myself…..from a man beating up on a woman.”

An off-duty officer handcuffed the actor and Fox was later detained by the police.

He was subsequently released and a friend put him in a cab and escorted him back to his hotel.

Bormann said she is meeting with the District Attorney’s office today and may press charges.

The girls of Jersey Shore escaped Hurricane Irene on the East Coast for the sunshine of Los Angeles and the 2011 MTV VMAs.

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Deena Nicole Cortese and Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola all glammed up and added on even more than their usual make-up for the event.

The skirts were short and the hair (and boobs) were big. No surprises there.

JWoww’s change in appearance has caused quite a stir. The reality TV star looks slimmer and it was speculated that she had cosmetic surgery but she says that’s simply not the case.

“If I got work done, I would be open to talking about it. I didn’t,” Farley said.

She says it’s diet and exercise that have changed her body, but she doesn’t want to shed any more weight.
