Katie Holmes At 2011 Primetime Emmys

Katie Holmes attended the 63rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards at the Nokia Theatre LA Live in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 18th.

The Kennedys actress chose a blue gown from Calvin Klein with a neckline that looked like a racerback tank top. It gave the dress an almost casual look. Holmes pulled her hair up in a bun on top of her head which was cute and went well with the dress.

Holmes, 32, was paired with actor Bryan Cranston of Breaking Bad to present the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama to Julianna Margulies of The Good Wife.

Holmes miniseries about the famous political family was up for a few awards but only Barry Pepper took home the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Movie or Miniseries.

Charlie Sheen To ‘Two And A Half Men’ – ‘I Know You Will Continue To Make Great Television’

Charlie Sheen has been leading another kind of tour lately – one of humility and redemption – and this tour stopped at the 63rd Annual Emmy Awards on Sunday night.

The 46 year-old actor presented the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy to winner Jim Parsons of The Big Bang Theory but it wasn’t the trophy that got Sheen noticed. It was his speech to the folks still on Two and A Half Men.

“Good evening,” he told the audience. “Before I present Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy, my old category, I want to take a moment to get something off my chest and say a few words to everyone here from ‘Two and a Half Men.”

“From the bottom of my heart, I wish nothing but the best for this upcoming season,” Sheen said extending the olive branch. “We spent eight wonderful years together, and I know you will continue to make great television. Now on to the Emmy.”

Sheen also tweeted his replacement on the series, Ashton Kutcher, posting a photo of them together and he gave him words of encouragement.

“Giving the new kid a little advice..! With @aplusk backstage at the Emmy’s…” Sheen tweeted. “Seriously… @aplusk great talking to you! We’ll all be watching! Make us proud!!”

WATCH: Demi Lovato Opens Up To ‘Unbelievably Supportive Fans’ In New Video

Demi Lovato is one celebrity who always takes time to thank her fans.

The 19 year-old singer took another opportunity to tell them how much she appreciated their support through her toughest times and how grateful she is for their love.

“I could never imagine my life would turn out this way,” Demi said in the video. “Sure, I had my hopes, but I never thought that I would be performing in front of thousands of people or surrounded by a never-ending spree of unbelievably supportive fans.”

Lovato continued by briefly mentioning her time spent in rehab and how alone she felt then.

“Last year everything stopped, and for the next three months I woke up in a treatment center every day, away from my family and friends. I spent a lot of time and holidays thinking there. I thought about the sadness that I felt, the pain that I was in, and the addictions that I was struggling from.”

While Demi is speaking, a preview of her next single “Fix A Heart” plays in the background. The song is a piano-heavy ballad that highlights Lovato’s strong vocals much like her first single “Skyscraper” off her upcoming album Unbroken.

Unbroken drops Tuesday, September 20th.

Tareq Salahi Files For Divorce From Runaway Wife Michaele Salahi

The infamous White House gatecrashing couple, Tareq Salahi and Michaele Salahi are headed to divorce court.

Earlier this week, Tareq was frantically looking for his wife, telling authorities he thought she had been kidnapped.

Within hours of the police report, it was discovered that Michaele was not in jeopardy but had run off to be with Journey guitarist Neal Schon.

The 47 year-old winery owner wasted no time filing for divorce citing adultery and abandonment at the end of the week.

Among the humiliating things Tareq has endured according to court documents, he received an email photo from the musician of his 57 year-old schlong. Blech.

TMZ reports “Tareq says in the papers, “the paramour [Neal] sent to my email account … a email with an attachment of a penis” — presumably his.”

Tareq says that there is a pre-nup between him and Michaele.

Schon will probably receive his walking papers too. He was married just two months ago in Paris to Ava Fabien and she is none too pleased with the rock star.

Naked Ian Somerhalder Pranks Nina Dobrev – Now That’s A Great Day At The Office!

The Vampire Diaries season 3 premiered Thursday night and within the first moments of the show, viewers are treated to a naked, sudsy Ian Somerhalder. Yes, that is the way most of us like it!

What we didn’t see (well, besides that, it is on at 8pm, after all) is the prank the 31 year-old actor said he played on his costar and his never-confirmed-but-how-could-she-not-be real-life girlfriend, Nina Dobrev while they were shooting that scene.

Somerhalder got together with one of the assistant directors and prop master to put together a little something extra for Dobrev when, playing Elena in scene, she turns around to face Somerhalder’s Damon.

“The first thing we see is Nina’s reaction, so what if I was completely naked and we had elephant ears and double-stick tape, and I put them on each of my thighs, and ultimately, she would be staring at a very small, young elephant,” the actor told EW.

“The reaction that we got was f—ing amazing. I hope and pray that that is what we used in the edit because it was such a natural ‘Ohmygod!’ reaction.”

Soap bubbles, a sexy smirk and elephant ears! Nice work if you can get it.

Somerhalder is presenting at the 2011 Primetime Emmys tonight and Dobrev is attending as well. Will they walk the red carpet together?

‘Real Housewives Of New York’ Cast Shake Up – Jill, Alex, Kelly & Cindy Are Not Returning

It’s true!

All week rumors were circulating that four of the Real Housewives of New York City would not return to the hit Bravo TV show for season 5, but now it’s confirmed.

Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon, Alex McCord and Cindy Barshop were dropped from the reality show and will no longer be featured weekly.

“Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan and LuAnn DeLesseps will be returning for season five of The Real Housewives of New York City,” the official statement from Bravo said. “We’ve had a fabulous run with all the ladies and appreciate them sharing their lives with our viewers.”

“It is a friendly departure among the other ladies and we continue to have ongoing discussions with them.”

I can’t say I’m surprised by Cindy or Alex’s departure. Kelly isn’t much of a shock either, considering they reduced her time tremendously on camera after the “Scary Island” incident of season 3.

Jill not coming back is a surprise. She creates huge drama that Bravo has devoted an enormous amount of time too.

Now the question is who do you replace them with and how to still keep viewers tuned in.

Who are you most happy is gone? Who will you miss?

Let’s hear it from you!

Matthew Fox Won’t Face Charges Over Bus Brawl, Will Face Civil Suit

Matthew Fox can breathe a little easier as the actor just found out criminal charges will not be filed over an alleged party bus brawl that happened in Cleveland at the end of August.

At the time, the 45 year-old actor who was said by witnesses to be inebriated, was attempting to board a private party bus and was denied access by the van’s driver, Heather Bormann.

Bormann and witnesses told officers that Fox punched her in the stomach, groin and chest.

The spokesman for the city, Andrea Taylor said the district attorney decided not to pursue the matter against the LOST actor “after a thorough review of the facts.”

Bormann, a single mother of three, filed a civil suit against the actor on Tuesday and her attorney, J. Norman Stark said he thought Fox got away without being charged because he was famous.

This was an unprovoked attack on a woman, with no provocation, by a man,” Stark said. “According to Ohio law, that is assault.”

Stark says he has pictures of injuries Bormann sustained from the incident and believes that Fox is receiving “preferential treatment because he is who he is – an actor.”

In the civil suit, Bormann is asking for a reported $25,000 – $75,000 in damages.
