Karl Lagerfeld Designed Diet Coke Bottles

Karl Lagerfeld can’t help but put his signature stamp on everything.

The famous designer of Chanel, photographer and artist turned his stylish eye to the Diet Coke bottle and he redefines the image.

Part of the 2011 ‘Love it Light’ campaign, the three new bottles are black and white with fuschia pink accents – none of the red and silver that we are familiar with. Lagerfeld has done a successful redesign limited edition last year as well (see that here.)

“I love this bottle but it’s time for a new one. Actually I want to do three bottles,” he said about the first time in 2010.

“I loved what we did last year but I will love 2011 even more. I’m delighted about this collaboration,” Lagerfeld continued.

“It’s exciting for me because I love the idea and as everybody knows, I drink Diet Coke and nothing else, night and day. It was pure pleasure to do a campaign with people I like and for a product I love.”

The designer has said he lost over 90 pounds in 2001 by drinking only Diet Coke and eating steamed vegetables.

The Diet Coke Limited Edition Collection by Karl Lagerfeld will be available individually or set in an exclusive prism-shaped collector’s box, also created by Lagerfeld. starting in June.

Prince William & Kate Middleton Open Children’s Cancer Center At Royal Marsden

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Royal Marsden in Sutton, Surrey to open the Oak Centre for Children and Young People – a new cancer ward for the hospital.

Prince William and Kate Middleton were met by a waiting crowd as they drove up to the medical facility where people lined the balconies to get a glimpse of the royal couple.

The Duchess wore a simple cream colored Amanda Wakeley dress with her LK Bennett nude heels. The Duke, who donned a navy suit, removed his jacket once inside and the couple sat with 14 year-old patient Digby Davidson on his bed chatting.

“William was joking about Digby’s flip flops and shorts – he said he had a tropical theme that fitted in with the decor,” Digby’s mother, Hermoine Davidson said.

The Prince had the opportunity to reconnect with a cancer patient he met two years ago. Alice Marples, 12, had interviewed William for the CBBC Newsround program and she presented Kate with a bouquet of flowers.

William had a bit of a sleepless night before the event. The future King, who is a search and rescue pilot in the RAF, was on a regular 24 hour shift and carried out a “compassionate call-out” flying a serviceman in from a warship off the Isle of Mann and bringing a casualty in from Snowdonia with a serious head injury.

William was named president of the Royal Marsden Hospital in 2007. His mother, the late Princess Diana, held the title until her death in 1997.

Adorbs!!

Proud mama Alicia Silverstone cradles her darling baby boy, 9 week-old Bear Blu Jarecki for the camera in the first ever photo of her newborn.

Silverstone, 34, gave birth to Bear on May 5th in Los Angeles and the tot had “crazy amounts of hair when he came out,” Silverstone tells Us Weekly. “He’s really calm.”

The Clueless actress also admits that she was a hermit for a while after he was born.

“I didn’t leave the house at all for six weeks after his birth. I wanted to soak in every moment of his scrumptiousness.”

Her husband, Christopher Jarecki, did go outside with Bear late last month and kept his son snuggled up so tight you couldn’t see the poor little guy. (Perhaps the exclusive photo deal was already made with Us…)

Ashton Kutcher & Demi Moore Marriage In Trouble? Ashton Says ‘Don’t Believe The Hype’

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore have been the center of infidelity and breakup rumors before but this one seems to be sticking to the couple.

Moore, 48, referenced a quote from Greek philosopher Epictetus earlier in the week that many have taken as a sign of trouble in paradise.

“When we are offended at any man’s fault, turn to yourself and study your own failings. Then you will forget your anger,”she tweeted.

This comes on the heels of a report of Kutcher’s fling with 23 year-old actress Sara Leal at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego.

According to the source, the Two and A Half Men actor told Leal that he and Moore have already separated, it just wasn’t public knowledge yet.

Kutcher, 33, and Moore, who tweet each other regularly, have not been sending the lovey-dovey messages they once did and Moore has cancelled a public appearance to promote her new Lifetime movie Five.

He stayed in San Diego and partied with his former That 70s Show costar Danny Masterson on the couple’s anniversary, while Moore stayed in New York City.

Neither Kutcher nor Moore’s representatives have responded to requests for comment.

Both actors are usually pretty quick to denounce the rumors but this time both have stayed silent, until today.

Kutcher tweeted a link to his account on Spotify with the Public Enemy song “Don’t Believe The Hype.

Some of the lyrics that Kutcher may be referring to:

“Some media is the wack
As you believe it’s true
It blows me through the roof
Suckers, liars, get me a shovel
Some writers I know are d*** devils
For them I say, don’t believe the hype.”

While Kutcher tweets songs, Leal is reportedly headed to a lawyer to explore her legal options.

Growing Up Miranda Cosgrove

Miranda Cosgrove is facing the dilemma that many tween stars run up against – how do they grow up and move into more adult roles without completely trashing their image.

The NY Times has a great article on Miranda, examining her next career move and how she is navigating the waters that many teenage girl stars fail to get through without getting completely soaked.

As part of Nickelodeon’s roster of teen stars, Cosgrove did what was once thought impossible: over take Miley Cyrus and Hannah Montana in the ratings two years ago. Yes, long ago, the iCarly star and show beat out Disney’s powerhouse to surprise many.

As Cyrus, 18, has shifted away from her original audience with a definite sexy edge, the 17 year-old Cosgrove has maintained her innocence – both on screen and off.

Where does she go next? Stay in the business and transition to more grown up fare (bare it all for a magazine) or head off to college?

“It’s weird for me. My friends are going through this thing of figuring out what they want to do with their lives. And I — at this point, I think I know what I want. But if I go to college, I can figure it out for sure.”

Cosgrove puts it simply. She has one pure teenage wish left to conquer. When asked:

“Where do you think you’ll be in a year?”

She paused, thoughtfully. “I really don’t know,” she said. “I hope at least I have my driver’s license.”

Daniel Radcliffe Makes Magic With ‘Business’ Opening Night

Daniel Radcliffe is succeeding in everything he does.

The Harry Potter actor is cast in the revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and the reviews coming in are largely fantastic.

The 21 year-old Brit is impressing the crowds and critics in the musical comedy that looks at the corporate world of the 1960s. Very Mad Men-esque, if Mad Men was happy, light and fluffy.

Radcliffe costars with Rose Hemmingway and John Laroquette with Anderson Cooper narrating.

Emma Stone Goes Pinup For Vanity Fair Cover

Va-va-voom! Emma Stone gives the cover of the August issue of Vanity Fair her best pinup pose and it’s a darn good one.

The red-hot actress shared with the magazine about her paparazzi encounter when she discovered that some celebs do indeed call the paps for ‘candid’ shots and losing out on the Heroes cheerleader role to another:

On finding out some celebrities actually call photographers: “He stands up while I’m walking to my car and is like, ‘Hey, Emma! Listen, I’m going to delete these pics. Here’s my card,” Stone recalls of a recent encounter with a paparazzo. “‘If you ever go to the beach with your friends or walk out of your house in your pajamas, call me.’” Stone, confused, refused his card. “He’s like, ‘But I’m deleting these pictures, see?’ … These guys try to strike up a deal with you so you feel like they’re your friend. I didn’t even know that was a thing—that people would call them.”

On not ending up as a cheerleader on TV: “I could hear that, in the other room, a girl had just gone in and they were saying, ‘You are our pick … On a scale of 1 to 10 you’re an 11,’” Stone recalls, before Hayden Panettiere—who ended up with the role of Claire Bennet—walked out of the room. “I went home and just had this meltdown,” Stone says, calling the experience “rock bottom.”

Emma’s VF issue is on sale in NY and LA (and available on iPad) June 30th. For the rest of the nation, July 5th.

Patrick Dempsey Spotted At Cirque Du Soleil “Iris” Premiere

Patrick Dempsey

Grey’s Anatomy‘s Patrick Dempsey made an appearance at the world premiere of “Iris:  A Journey Into The World Of Cinema” by Cirque Du Soleil.

This show promises to “take spectators on a fantastic voyage through the history of cinema…into the heart of the movie-making process.”  Something about Hollywood stars going to see a show about their own industry sounds like a lot of self-serving navel-gazing, but this production boasts some relatively serious credentials.   “Iris” was written and directed by celebrated French stage and film director Philippe Decouflé; Danny Elfman composed the music. (Check out a preview video here.)

Season 8 of Grey‘s premiered last week, but Patrick has been casting doubts about whether he’s got a future with the show after this current season; in fact, recently he’s suggested that the show may be cancelled before the season is even through.  That’s just silly; this show has been one of ABC’s staples for years now, and there’s no way they’re going to let it end without some huge finale that strains the limits of believability.  Either way, McDreamy fans – get it while you can!

There’s more photos of Patrick after the jump.
