Nicole Richie was the host of Vogue‘s official Fashion’s Night Out event at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles on Thursday, September 8th.

The designer wore a lilac bohemian-inspired, bell-sleeved dress from her own Winter Kate line. She accented her look with a beaded headband from House of Harlow.

Richie, 29, introduced the two runway shows with American Idol judge Randy Jackson and Vogue’s West Coast editor Lisa Love.

Richie will be mentoring contestants on NBC‘s new fashion competition show Fashion Star, which will debut mid season. Elle MacPherson, Jessica Simpson and John Varvatos will also star.

Kelly Osbourne is having a great time as the face of Material Girl, and it shows!  She spent Fashion’s Night Out at Macy’s State Street in Chicago, answering questions about the new collection.  She was so pretty in a floral skirt, orange top (Material Girl, of course) with her hair in a retro up-do, and I don’t think she’s ever looked better.

Rose McGowan checked out Fashion’s Night Out – John Varvatos event in New York City last night.

The Conan The Barbarian actress was dressed in a grey vest with leopard print back, black shorts and black ankle-boots.

McGowan, who stars in the Lifetime movie The Pastor’s Wife, due next year, is also among the celebrities whose films have been announced for the Screamfest Film Festival 2011.

Rosewood Lane, a horror movie directed by Victor Salva, stars McGowan as a radio talk show psychiatrist who senses something unusual about the local paper boy.

Screamfest takes place in Hollywood October 14th – 23rd.

The release of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 is inching closer and Summit has released two new teaser movie posters to whet fans appetite.

Kristen Stewart (Bella) and Robert Pattinson (Edward) are wrapped in an embrace with their wedding bands (check out Bella’s ring!) and Taylor Lautner (Jacob) has a solo poster with his fierce, angry self.

Breaking Dawn part 1 opens in theaters on November 18th.

Chace Crawford put a stylish foot forward for Fashion’s Night Out as he attended both John Varvatos and Dolce & Gabbana events in NYC on Thursday night.

The Gossip Girl actor has been busying shooting scenes in New York with Elizabeth Hurley who guest stars for multiple episodes beginning with the season 5 premiere on Monday September 26th.

Crawford, 26, may be making an appearance in Canada next week at the Toronto International Film Festival. His film Peace, Love and Misunderstanding, costarring Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Catherine Keener and Jane Fonda, screens on Tuesday and Wednesday, the 13th and 14th.

The reunion pics of Jonathan Taylor Thomas with the cast of Home Improvement were supposed to be a surprise for an upcoming issue of Entertainment Weekly but star Patricia Richardson accidentally scooped the mag.

The actress posted her own photo of the group to twitter with herself and Taylor Thomas, Tim Allen, Zachary Ty Bryan, Taran Noah Smith, Debbi Dunning and Richard Karn and now the magazine has posted their portrait.

EW revealed that Allen, Richardson and many of the cast hadn’t seen Jonathan (Randy,) the teen heartthrob of the 90s, since 1998. He has attended Columbia University and been largely absent from film or television work since 2005 but that may be changing.

JTT turned 30 on Thursday and Richardson tweeted his future plans.

“Jonathan is acting, also wants to direct!”

The actress didn’t leave out updating about her “other” TV sons – like any good mom – no favorites! Richardson said Zachary (Brad) is married and is a producer. Taran owns a vegan food company and is an art installer.

Burlesque queen Dita Von Teese attended the New York premiere of God Save My Shoes at the Paris Theater.  Dita makes an appearance in the documentary, which “explores the intimate relationship women have with their shoes.”

Dita chose a monochromatic look for the premiere.  She wore a red, belted Elie Saab dress with an asymmetrical neckline.  And as for her shoes?  Silk peep-toes by Christian Louboutin, of course.

Kara DioGuardi made her Broadway debut this week in the role of Chicago‘s Roxie Hart.  She completely looks the part!

Kara spoke with TheatreMania about what she and her character have in common.  Kara noted:

She’s a quick-thinker and lives moment to moment. She navigates through a lot – she’s a survivor. I feel there are times in my life that I am like that, especially in the music business.

James Franco premiered his film Sal at the Venice Film Festival to mixed reviews, but does he look bothered?  Heck no.  He’s James Franco!  He’ll just move on to the next cool, random thing that captures his imagination.

Sal is based on Michael Gregg Michaud‘s biography of actor Sal Mineo, who was murdered in 1976.  Oh, now that’s the decade for James, who also stars in the film.  James plays legendary acting coach Milton Katselas; Val Lauren plays the title character.
