‘Criminal Minds’ Cast Previews The New Season At The Paley Center

The Cast Of Criminal Minds

The cast of CBS’ Criminal Minds turned out in force at the CBS Fall Preview Party at the Paley Center For Media.  All your favorite FBI profilers were there:  Joe Mantegna (Rossi), Thomas Gibson (Hotch), Kirsten Vangsness (Garcia), A.J. Cook (JJ), Paget Brewster (Prentiss), Matthew Gray Gubler (Reid), and (my personal fave) hottie Shemar Moore (Morgan).

Oh, did I say Prentiss?  This season sees the return of this extremely popular character, who is not dead after all.   Another change for the show’s seventh season:  according to executive producer Erica Messer, this season there will be more focus on “the heroes… all the layers that make up this team.”

The Criminal Minds season premiere airs on Wednesday, September 21st.

Tons of photos of the cast after the jump.

Kate Middleton Isn’t Pregnant With Twins

Kate Middleton and Prince William are fending off false pregnancy rumors.

This one, published by Star magazine, claiming the couple, who married on April 29th, are expecting twins.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s representatives at Buckingham Palace responded saying it’s simply not true.

“Suffice to say that were it true, it would be us that announces it, not a gossip magazine.”

When the couple announced their engagment, William said at the time that they want a family, but they are taking things slowly.

“We’ll sort of get over the marriage thing first, then look at the kids. But obviously, we want a family.”

I guess it just isn’t happening fast enough for Star magazine.

Perhaps they think if they print it once a month, it will eventually line up with Kate’s actual pregnancy?

Flawless Kate Winslet Pays Homage To Elizabeth Taylor For V Magazine

Kate Winslet is simply perfect as Elizabeth Taylor for V magazine‘s September/October Heroes issue.

The 35 year-old actress is photographed by Mario Testino and styled by Carine Roitfeld as the stunning violet-eyed Hollywood legend.

Winslet spoke about Taylor and how what she found remarkable about the late actress.

“There was a real fearlessness in her. Which in old Hollywood perhaps didn’t feel quite as prevalent. Now, actors and actresses can bend the rules a lot. Back then, there didn’t seem to be a rule book, and there was some expectation in terms of how glamorous a woman should look. There is sort of a coolness and aloofness to the way [Elizabeth Taylor] would look in posed photographs. In candid snapshots she was really quite soft, and she would really screw up her face. I do that as well.”

Kate also shared how she actually loathes nude scenes, even though she seems to find herself in them rather frequently.

“I hate it! Listen make no mistake, I just get on it. I just go in and say ‘Oh f**k’ let’s do it.’ and Boom. If you complain about it or procrastinate it’s not going to go away. Its a profoundly bizarre thing to do. As actors you talk about it all the time. You can literally be tangled in sheets, and you turn to the other actor and say ‘What the f*ck are we doing?’ Dear Mum, at work today I had so-and-so’s left nut sack pressed against my cheek. It’s sort of unethical if you think about it in those terms.”

Well, Kate. That was unexpected!

More Winslet photos are under. (Read the article)

John Galliano Found Guilty Of Anti-Semitic Rant In Parisian Court

John Galliano was found guilty of “public insults based on origin, religious affiliation, race or ethnicity” in a Parisian courtroom today and fined over $8,000.

The designer’s fine is suspended – as long as no other incidents occur he will not have to pay. He does however, have to pay court costs for the anti-racism groups that supported the charge. The maximum Galliano could’ve been fined was $32,175 and could’ve spent six months in jail.

The charges stem from a a February incident at La Perle cafe where the now-shamed designer spewed anti-Semitic vitriol at a couple and from an October 2010 incident at the same cafe when he publicly insulted another woman.

At the time of the trial, Galliano told the court he was unable to recall the altercation because he was under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

The 50 year-old did not appear today in court but did testify in June.

Galliano has issued an apology to the victims and has said he suffered from discrimination too because of his homosexuality.

The designer once heralded by the fashion world lost his job at Dior where he worked for over a decade and has sought treatment for drug and alcohol addiction in the U.S. and Switzerland.

Kristin Chenoweth Talks Being A Christian & Gay Rights With The Advocate

Oklahoma native Kristin Chenoweth gets back to her Southern roots with a new country music album she’s releasing next week and a new TV show.

Some Lessons Learned gave the singer a chance to live and work in Nashville and her new role as Carlene in ABC‘s Good Christian Belles is set in Dallas.

The Glee star sat down with The Advocate to talk about her music, her spirituality and her beliefs. Here is a bit of what she shared:

The Advocate: You have said, “Just because I’m Christian doesn’t mean I don’t question things — God gave us a brain for a reason.” What would you ask people who cite Christianity as their justification for passing laws that discriminate against people?

Chenoweth: “I would ask, “What would Jesus do?” [Laughs] It sounds so cliché and Pollyanna-ish, but I have a feeling if he were on the earth today, he wouldn’t be walking around saying, “You’re going to hell” and “You’re wrong, you’re wrong, you’re wrong.” I think he’d be accepting and loving. I always use this as an example: What would I do if it was a sin to be short? That’s the way God made me, so what could I do? Let’s see, I could wear heels, I could tease my hair, and maybe on a good day I could be 5’1″. But the bottom line is, I’m 4’11″ and that’s the way I was put together. And that’s what I believe about homosexuals. And I love, love that this has become a purpose in my life. It’s one that I didn’t ever expect. “What would Jesus do?” That’s my answer.”

Check out The Advocate for the rest of her interview.

Her album, Some Lessons Learned is out September 13th.  Good Christian Belles will be a mid season replacement show debuting in 2012.

Reese Witherspoon: ‘I Feel So Much Relief’ Being Married Again

Reese Witherspoon strikes a pose for the cover of Marie Claire‘s October issue.

The actress opened up about how her divorce from Ryan Phillippe affected her more than she realized.

“I was hard on myself when I got divorced. And until I got remarried, I don’t think I realized how stressed I was,” she says, referring to her marriage this past March to Hollywood talent agent Jim Toth.

“I feel so much relief. I don’t think I recognized how anxious I was about being a single parent. It was really, really stressful. It’s not easy on anybody.”

Witherspoon said she’s incredibly fortunate to have found Toth and how great he is with her kids.

“You know, somebody close to me once said, ‘Oh, no man will ever accept your children.’ And I just thought it was the most horrifying thing someone has ever said to me in my entire life,” she said.

“I was determined to find somebody who would make that not true. And I got lucky. I did. I got very lucky, and he’s wonderful. And so wonderful with the children. I’m very blessed.”

Witherspoon’s luck runs not only with finding a new man, but avoiding serious injury.

The 35 year-old actress was hit by a car while jogging yesterday and taken to the hospital. She wasn’t seriously hurt and was released the same day.

Get more of Reese’s interview when Marie Claire hits the newsstands on September 20th.
