Emma Watson conjured up an edgy fashion look for the red carpet of the GQ Men of the Year Awards 2011 held at the Royal Opera House in London on Tuesday evening.

The Harry Potter actress chose a plaid dress with full skirt from the Alexander McQueen secondary line McQ that she paired with a leather biker jacket.

The 21 year-old star presented photographer Mario Testino with the Inspiration of the Year Award.

An oiled-up Jessica Alba is on the cover of the Spring 2011 issue of Men’s Style.  The Australian men’s rag obviously caught up with the star before her latest pregnancy (with daughter Haven, born on August 13), and check her out.  Jess is all wet hair and oiled up limbs and sultry glances.

Just a couple of weeks after giving birth, Jessica Tweeted that she’s already back in the gym.   You’ve just got to wonder whether photos like this are her inspiration to lose her baby weight!

Britney Spears covers Glamour UK for October but she tells the magazine, she’s looking forward to December.

The “I Wanna Go” singer will turn 30 on the 2nd of the month and said she would like to mark the occasion with a unique celebration.

“I think the older you get, the wiser you get. I can’t wait. I’m really excited and definitely gonna celebrate and do something spectacular. I’m gonna be in South America so I’ll have to do something pretty fun. A carnival of Britney?”

Spears, who launches her world tour in Russia on the 22nd of September, will hit the UK in October and has heard that Prince William was a fan and had a poster of her on his wall as a teenager.

She said that she would love it if he and his new wife, Kate Middleton, were able to make one of her shows.

“That would be amazing. That would be really crazy and cool. I think they’re a beautiful couple. Unfortunately I didn’t get to watch the [royal] wedding, but I heard it was beautiful.”

The singer will also be spending some time in London before her tour. She is shooting a video for “Criminal” in the Prince’s home city.

“So excited to stop over in the UK before I start my European tour in a few weeks,” she tweeted. “Can’t wait! I LOVE London, it’s like my second home. Decided to shoot the ‘Criminal’ video in the streets of merry old England when I get there…”

Anne Hathaway brings a glamour and sophistication to just about everything she tries her hand at.

That quality comes in handy as the new face of TOD’s Signature Collection – a line of bold-colored handbags separate from the luxury brand’s main line and aimed at a younger clientele.

TOD’s Creative Director Derek Lam said the One Day actress is exceptional and will represent the line with class.

“Anne Hathaway is the perfect representative of Tod’s new Signature Collection,” Lam said.”What makes this collaboration with Anne so perfect is that not only is she a young actress with accomplished roles to her credit, she is also one to watch for her creative choices. Hathaway was photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott with her hair spilling across a red car hood, wearing a matching lip color for a stand out look.

The 28 year-old said she loves the brand and feels the new line is timeless.

“I have been a longtime fan of Tod’s and was very excited to be a part of exploring a new side of their identity with the launch of their Signature Collection,” added Hathaway. “These are bags that age with you and never let you down … As a result, they don’t grow older, they only grow better, just like a woman.”

Hathaway’s ad campaign will start appearing in the October issues of magazines.

Taylor Lautner covers Seventeen magazine for the October issue.

The 19 year-old actor talks about his leading lady from the upcoming film Abduction, Lily Collins.

Taylor says he knew he had something special with Collins (who has become his off screen girlfriend as well) from their first meeting and he was impressed by how real she was.

“The amazing thing about Lily is that she was super-open and funny and goofy to begin with,” he shares. “And she definitely did not change at all from the first time I met her. That’s probably the most impressive thing about her — that she’s not afraid to be herself.”

Lautner says that he is intrigued with psychology and would like to continue studying more, if he gets the opportunity.

“I finished high school while filming movies. And then as soon as I was done, I enrolled in my local community college and got 12-15 credits out of the way really quickly,” Lautner said.

“After that, it just got too busy, but if I get a break again, going back definitely interests me—I might be interested in studying psychology.”

Abduction hits theaters on September 23rd and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 opens November 18th.

The 45th Annual Country Music Association Awards are one of the year’s last big award shows before heading into the holidays and the nominees were announced today.

Blake Shelton and Taylor Swift are leading the pack with five nods and join Jason Aldean and Brad Paisley as the 4 artists with the most nominations.

They join Keith Urban as they duke it out for Entertainer of the Year. Paisley, Urban and Swift have previously taken the win, Aldean and Shelton are the newcomers this time around.

The Band Perry, Miranda Lambert and the Zac Brown Band follow with the second most nominations – they each earned four.

The 2011 CMA Awards will be hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood on November 9th and televised on ABC.

British soul-singer Adele is absolutely gorgeous on the cover of British Vogue for the October issue.

The 23 year-old chantuese spoke about her pre-show jitters, relationship distractions and how she’s not going to give in to the pressure to look a certain way.

On having supportive friends and not succumbing to beauty pressures: “I’ve seen people where it rules their lives, who want to be thinner or have bigger boobs, and how it wears them down. And I don’t want that in my life. I have insecurities, of course, but I don’t hang out with anyone who points them out to me.”

On why she isn’t in a relationship right now: “I do get massively distracted when I’ve got someone in my life, which I can’t afford to do right now. Besides, no one treats me as well as I do.”

On her pre-show anxiety: “I puke quite a lot before going on stage. Though never actually on stage. But then, I s— myself before everything … the bigger the freak-out, the more I enjoy the show!”

On any endorsement future she might have: “I don’t want to see me plastered everywhere,” she said. “If they offered me £10million, I’d be like f*** off. Besides if I was going to be the face of anything it should be the face of full-fat coke.”

It was the union of two iconic American families on Sunday when the son of designer Ralph Lauren married the granddaughter of the 41st President of the United States, George H. W. Bush.

David Lauren and Lauren Bush wed at the Lauren family’s Double RL Ranch in the Rocky Mountains.   The wedding carried a distinctive Western vintage theme:  the bride arrived by horse-drawn carriage, and wore a Victorian-style gown designed by her father-in-law (nice perk of marrying into a fashion family).  The groom opted for a “vintage Lincoln era-inspired tuxedo.”   Now these are wedding photos I cannot wait to see!

Lauren is a model and herself a designer, whose line Lauren Pierce for Calypso “supports the creativity and livelihoods of women artisans of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.”  She has opted to hyphenate her last name, and will be known as Lauren Bush-Lauren.
