Alexa Chung Covers Gisele, Likes To Be On The Worst Dressed List

Alexa Chung covers the Japanese fashion magazine Gisele for the September issue.

The 27 year-old stylish TV host and fashion designer for Madewell spoke to Fashionista when they caught up with her at Cynthia Rowley‘s fashion show.

Chung spoke to the site about being on the best dressed list and why she favors just the opposite.

“I like it when I’ve made the worst dressed page in a gossip mag because it means it’s like the best dressed in another context,” Chung said. “I don’t want to dress like everyone else, I’m quite happy.”

Chung will host her own reality show on Lifetime called 24-Hour Catwalk with Rowley as one of the judges.

‘The Lone Ranger’ Will Probably Ride After All

Disney‘s The Lone Ranger starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer was cancelled back in August, now it’s looking to get back on track to shoot this January.

The studio looks like it is ready to re-commit to the project with Jerry BruckheimerGore Verbinski and Johnny Depp. The green light hasn’t been given yet, but the current word is that Disney will probably flash that signal next week, leading to an early 2012 shoot…

…The end result is that we might get a version of Lone Ranger that ditches some of the supernatural elements (that is, werewolves) that were once part of the script, but hopefully keeps the perspective-flipping ‘Don Quixote from Sancho Panza’s point of view’ approach that was originally said to be the spark that got Gore Verbinski ready to make the film.

The movie definitely has the Johnny Depp action pull which has been huge for Disney‘s Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, I’m sure this movie will be a big hit too. Westerns are a hard sell, but I’m betting this one will be pretty easy, given the action epic nature of the concept. The delays mean the movie probably won’t grace theater screens until late 2013 though, so don’t get too excited yet.

Ridley Scott’s New ‘Blade Runner’ Gets a Screenwriter

There is a new Blade Runner movie coming from director Ridley Scott and it looks like it’s getting writer.

While nobody is quite sure what Ridley Scott’s new Blade Runner film will be just yet we may know who is writing it.

Sources tell Twitch that Scott Burns – writer of Contagion andThe Bourne Ultimatum – has been identified as the top choice to write the picture by both Scott himself, his producers at Alcon and the project’s backers at Warner Brothers and that all parties are now involved in active talks to make it happen.

To me, the whole idea of a new Blade Runner movie just doesn’t seem like a good idea. It’s one of those classic films that really shouldn’t be messed with. The fact that Ridley Scott is doing the film certainly softens the blow, but I’m still not really liking the idea. It’s hard to imagine how they will keep that same universe in place given the way real life technology has advanced. Time will tell with this one, what do you think?

Adam Sandler’s ‘Jack and Jill’ Poster Hypes Stupidity

Here’s the poster for the upcoming comedy Jack and Jill starring Adam Sandler.

This movie couldn’t look any less idiotic, if you’ve seen the trailer you know exactly what I mean. This poster isn’t doing the movie any favors either. I miss the funny Adam Sandler, what happened to him? I hope this movie is as massive of a failure as it should be, it’s an insult to the intelligence of the movie going public.

Appalling ‘Human Centipede 2′ Poster

Here’s the poster for the upcoming horror sequel The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence).

I was the unfortunate victim of a small portion of the first Human Centipede movie, and I wish I hadn’t even see those few scenes. This sequel is touting itself as even more graphic grotesque and vomit inducing. Why anyone would want to subject themselves to this kind of “entertainment” is beyond me, but things like this just keep getting made.

Katherine Heigl Goes Jersey Girl in ‘One for the Money’ Trailer

Here’s the first trailer for the upcoming movie One for the Money starring Katherine Heigl.

Seems like the Jersey accent comes and goes for Heigl in the trailer, doesn’t seem natural. It’s hard to tell what this movie is supposed to be selling, straight comedy or action comedy. It doesn’t exactly look like comedy gold in any case, but it might be worth a few laughs. Seems like they are definitely trying to reach out to a wide audience, but I’m not sure it’s working. What do you think?

‘Man on a Ledge’ Trailer with Sam Worthington Gives Too Much Away!

Here’s the trailer for the upcoming movie Man on a Ledge starring Sam Worthington.

As much as this movie looks like it could be pretty entertaining and good, I feel like I’ve seen it already. This trailer gives way too much of the story away. Isn’t there some way they could have refrained from showing him jump off the ledge? Hopefully there is more to it, maybe a twist of some kind. Will you see it?

Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Anthony Kiedis Said It Was ‘Time For A Change To Take Place’

The long awaited new album from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, I’m With You, finally released Monday and singer Anthony Kiedis says they are like a new band.

The band has changed one member, longtime guitarist John Frusciante left the group and Josh Klinghoffer has stepped in to join Kiedis, drummer Chad Smith and bassist Flea.

Kiedis says that even though it wasn’t planned, the change was great for the band and the music.

“It seemed to be, whether we liked it or not, time for change to take place,” he told MTV “So, an opportunity was created, one that instantly seemed to be a wonderful occasion.

“It’s so exciting when you get thrown a curveball by the universe, and you turn that curveball into a home run. And I feel like that’s what happened …”

“Curveballs used to break my heart and freak me out, but now, I know from experience that they usually lead to something cool,” Kiedis continued.

Check out his  interview and watch the band’s new video for their first single “The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie” under.
