Kim Kardashian has decided to cut her Australian promotional tour short and flee Down Under because she’s having a hard time dealing with the stress and questions surrounding her decision to file for divorce just 72 days after marrying Kris Humphries.

The 31 year-old reality star was lined up for an appearance at an Australian horse racing event and a visit to Melbourne Cup Carnival for Swisse vitamins marquee on Saturday for which she was reportedly expected to make more than $150,000.

Kim, who did make an appearance in Sydney at the Westfield Miranda shopping center with her sister and brother-in-law Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian-Odom, said although she wasn’t able to make Saturday’s appearance, she wants to come back.

“I’m very disappointed that I am unable to attend the Swisse marquee but I hope to come back and work with the Swisse team at another point in time,” Us Weekly reports.

In the one interview she did give with Sydney’s Sunrise show, Kim said the rumors of money grubbing is what’s bothering her the most.

“I think what really just, I think, upsets me most is that there has been from the start so many rumors of money and dollar signs all these things thrown up in the air… and so much of it not being true,” Kardashian said.

“It’s kind of what you get from living your life so publicly on a reality show. I get that,” she claimed.

Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama are a couple again, it would seem, as the two were caught making out in front of cameras.

Lovato, 19, and Valderrama, 31, locked lips outside his home on Tuesday morning with their arms wrapped around each other.

The “Skyscraper” singer went to a party for Seth MacFarlane in October where she met up Valderrama and the two reportedly did not try to hide their on-again romance.

Lovato dated Valderrama before entering a treatment facility last year for personal and emotional issues at this time. Since checking out in January, she has reconnected with the That 70s Show actor a number of times.

Valderrama has been open about some of his more famous relationships in the past. He told radio host Howard Stern that he took Mandy Moore‘s virginity, that Ashlee Simpson was “a screamer” and he dated Lindsay Lohan until 2004.

Prince William and Kate Middleton toured a UN aid depot in Copenhagen where they helped pack boxes headed to drought ravaged East Africa.

The food shortage is affecting an estimated 13 million people. Middleton called the crisis “shocking.”

The British royal couple were guests of Denmark’s Crown Prince Frederick and his wife, Australian-born Crown Prince Mary and the Danish hosts accompanied them as they visited a UNICEF emergency supply center.

“The rains have come now and … that doesn’t necessarily mean things are going to get better at all,” William said. “In fact, disease becomes a huge issue. And so it’s very much a case of anyone who can do anything to help, please do.”

Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, donned a hard hat along with the other royals and packed boxes for the humanitarian organization’s effort. Prince William tasted the high-protein peanut paste that is sent in the relief packages. Kate declined a sample of the food.

The fashionable Duchess of Cambridge wore a beautiful long red coat cinched at the waist with a belt by L.K. Bennett.

Denise Richards and Richie Sambora In 2006

Denise Richards and rocker Richie Sambora broke up back in 2007, but rumor has it that they may be rekindling their relationship.  The pair were spotted out at dinner in Woodland Hills, California this weekend.  Sources characterize their do-over attempt as “serious” but note that Sambora and Richards are trying to keep things “low-key.”

Richards has a lot going on these days, what with making nice with another ex, her baby daddy Charlie Sheen, and adopting her new daughter Eloise.  Is adding a new/old relationship to her life really what she needs right now?    Do you think Denise and Richie 2.0 will work?  Drop a comment and spill!

Pixar’s Chief Creative Officer John Lasseter received a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame on Tuesday.   On hand to celebrate with him were his wife, Nancy Lasseter, members of the Pixar team, and several actors who have lent their voices to his monstrously popular animated films, including Bonnie Hunt, Owen Wilson, Brad Paisley, Emily Mortimer, Cheech Marin and John Ratzenberger.

Lasseter looked like a big goofy kid at the ceremony, in jeans and one of his signature Hawaiian shirts, with a big smile on his face.  He professed that getting his star was  “the greatest honor you could give me.”   At the end of his comments, he paid tribute to his former Pixar partner the late Steve Jobs, saying,

“There is one last person I want to share this with, and that is my partner Steve Jobs. Without Steve, Pixar wouldn’t exist. These films wouldn’t exist. I honor him. The only thing Steve Jobs ever asked of me was, ‘John, make it great’.”

Animation fans and children everywhere certainly would agree that Lasseter has indeed done just that.  Pixar’s next project is the upcoming Brave, due out in June 2012.

Reese Witherspoon found herself in hot water with animal rights organization PETA over a handbag.

The actress was photographed in California carrying a $4000 python handbag from couture fashion house Chloe. Python-skin goods are illegal in the state and PETA detailed the terrible way a skin is obtained.

“Every year, millions of snakes are impaled on hooks or nailed to trees by their heads and skinned alive,” a statement from the organization said. “Hoses are inserted into the mouths of large snakes—like pythons—and their bodies are pumped full of water to loosen their skin so that it will cut away more easily. The animals’ peeled, writhing bodies are then discarded, and it often takes days for the animals to die from the effects of shock and dehydration. We can’t imagine that she’d wish to contribute to this hidden suffering, especially for something as frivolous as a fashion accessory that can be replicated with no bloodshed.

“These days, it’s easy to have a look that kills without killing—with fake snake, mock croc, python pleather, and other designer items that pay tribute to the beauty of these animals without massacring them.”

Witherspoon, who was named one of PETA’s Sexiest Vegetarians in 2006, was sent a video from the group that her Walk The Line costar Joaquin Phoenix narrated.

After the video, Witherspoon has had a change of heart.

Is Justin Bieber a daddy?

One young woman has reportedly filed a lawsuit claiming the “Baby” singer is the father of her 3 month-old.

Mariah Yeater, 20, is said to have met the 17 year-old Canadian pop star backstage after a Los Angeles concert at the Staples Center in October of 2010 where the two had sex and she left with a permanent reminder of her one night with the Biebs.

“On July 6, 2011, I gave birth to a baby boy,” Yeater said in court documents. “That was exactly 36 weeks and two days after the sexual encounter with Justin Bieber. Based upon the timing as well as the fact there were no other possible men that I had sex with that could be the father of this baby, I believe that Justin Bieber is in fact the father of my baby.”

Yeater claims in the documents she tried to contact his reps, but has never heard back from anyone.

Justin and his representatives aren’t taking the accusation lightly, denying them and saying they will take legal action.

“While we haven’t yet seen the lawsuit, it’s sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claims,” Matthew Hiltzik, JB’s rep said. “We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations.”

Bieber’s response has been through twitter:

“with this album [he released Under the Mistletoe on Tuesday] Im giving portion of the proceeds to #charity … Im trying to help #GIVEBACK..nothing will stop me from that focus. NOTHING”

He continued “so Im going to ignore the rumors…and focus on what is real. an opportunity to help by doing what i love. Judge me on the music! Love yall!”

Jessica Simpson has that holiday sparkle going on the cover of the December issue of Lucky magazine.

The 31 year-old wears a gold glittering dress from Gryphon and talks weight, her fiance (and soon-to-be-baby-daddy) Eric Johnson and about her business.

On her weight and the attention it brings: “I got so much scrutiny for putting on extra pounds, but I think that the decision not to make myself anorexic was actually great for branding. Because when you’re really, really skinny, not everybody can relate to you. Everybody fluctuates, but I’m open about my weight and I’m still confident. I didn’t cry about it too much.”

On Eric and her wedding dress plans: “When I met him I just felt so comfortable with myself and where I was in my life that if he didn’t want to be part of it, he didn’t have to be. I haven’t started shopping for our wedding yet. When I got engaged, everyone thought I would get married immediately, but I have not put a single dress on, and by the time this comes out I will not be married! We’re just enjoying being engaged right now—and that’s honest.”

On ‘styling America’: “If it has my name on it, I want my stamp of approval to be on it I want to keep my customers coming back. So it’s going to be important to me in these next years to stay focused on the collection. I love that I can dream about paisley, and then two months later, someone’s wearing it. I’m basically styling America.”

The New Girl will be going solo.

Zooey Deschanel and her husband, Ben Gibbard have announced they are splitting up.

Dechanel, 31, and Gibbard, 35, met 3 years ago when their mutual music manager set them up together. (Zooey is in the group She & Him and Ben fronts Death Cab for Cutie.)

The pair subsequently married in Seattle, Washington in 2009.

A source says the separation isn’t messy.

“It was mutual and amicable,” the source shared. “There was no third party involved.”

People magazine reports that a divorce is on the horizon and this does not appear to be a trial separation.

Deschanel is currently busy with New Girl, her hit show for Fox, and she just released a holiday album – A Very She & Him Christmas.

Lindsay Lohan went to court today, dressed in a modest navy and white polka-dot dress, to find out exactly what her sentence would be for violating conditions of her probation.

Lohan, who was kicked out of the Downtown Women’s Shelter in Los Angeles for being a no-show, faced Judge Stephanie Sautner this morning in court and was sentenced to 30 days in jail.

The judge also was absolutely clear – no house arrest for Lindsay, she will be incarcerated.

Because of over-crowding, almost all non-violent offenders in California only serve 20% of that time behind bars. That translates to approximately 6 days of time.

Once she’s out of jail, the rest of Lohan’s remaining probation conditions were altered slightly – she must do all her community service at the Los Angeles County Morgue.

Sautner outlined a schedule for Lindsay to complete her time and she must start her work at the morgue the next business day.

Beginning December 14th, she must have completed 12 days at the morgue and 4 psychotherapy sessions. By January 17th, 12 more days and 4 more sessions. Each month she has to have that minimum number of days of work and therapy until the end of her probation – March 29, 2012.

Lindsay was also cautioned about tweeting her experiences at the morgue.

If she fails to comply the judge said she will issue an arrest warrant for Lohan and she will serve 270 days in jail.

Lohan was given until November 9th to surrender to be allowed to finish her Playboy shoot and get any personal affairs in order before she spends her week in a single cell.

Can I just say that I have high hopes for Lindsay because she dressed appropriately, finally! It could be a turning point and I hope it shows that she really understands that she’s responsible for her own predicament.
