Justin Bieber Says He Isn’t Planning On Singing About Sex And Drugs Anytime Soon
Justin Bieber lands the cover of V magazine‘s music issue and the soon-to-be-18-year-old talks about growing up and incorporating more mature subjects in his music.
“People need to know I’m not a kid anymore,” the pop star said. “I’m still learning. I’m not going to try to conform to what people want me to be or go out there and start partying, have people see me with alcohol.”
The “Baby” singer says he’s not planning on over-hauling his public image in the blink of an eye, he’s going to take his time. Respect is his long-term goal.
“I want to do it at my own pace,” Bieber told V. “I don’t want to start singing about things like sex, drugs and swearing. I’m into love, and maybe I’ll get more into making love when I’m older. But I want to be someone who is respected by everybody.”
Bieber’s shoot for the magazine is done by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin and he was styled by Lady Gaga‘s pal and Thierry Mugler creative head honcho Nicola Formichetti.

Bro seriously, I think you’re cool and all but doing photos like these don’t help you! As soon as you hear Lady Gaga’s name mentioned, you should know its not the type of shoot that will be good for you… or for any guy! The 2 photos on the right are not so good- just saying… Personally I much prefer photos of you that look less posed and where you are smiling coz you have a great smile
…but I love that you aren’t gonna try grow up too fast coz that’s where SO many famous people go wrong and people lose respect for them… And I love, love, love that you have male back up dancers and not girls dressed in barely anything, draped all over you, which is just disgusting, and a sure way to have people lose respect for you.. Anyway… lol
