Jennifer Love Hewitt appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday afternoon and fessed up to the host she is crushing on newly single singer, Adam Levine.

The Maroon 5 crooner and his model girlfriend, Anne V, just called it quits after a two year romance and Hewitt knows a good-looking available man when she sees one.

Ellen: Are you in a relationship, right now?

Jennifer: I am not. I am very single.

Ellen: You’re very single. Is that good, very single?

Jennifer: It’s good. Yes, it is. It’s good.

Ellen: Do you have you’re eye on anybody?

Jennifer: Well, yeah, I always have my eyes out… I just read two days ago that Adam Levine is single again…I’m just saying.

Hewitt, the star of Lifetime‘s sexy new show The Client List, took to twitter after her appearance to address the possible dating chatter she started on Ellen’s show.

“ok everybody calm down about Adam Levine! I just gave him a shout out as a hot guy on Ellen cause we were having fun! No need to get crazy!” she tweeted.

Hewitt has dated Carson Daly, John Mayer, Jamie Kennedy,  Ross McCall and Alex Beh in the past.
