Katie Holmes takes her daughter Suri Cruise by the hand as the two take a walk in New York City on Wednesday (May 30th), enjoying the afternoon sunshine.

Holmes was casual in her denim skirt, light pink shirt and short booties and her 6 year-old was adorable in bright pink butterfly pants, grey tee and her cute little stuffed animal.

The mother-daughter duo were on their way home from a stop at NY eatery Pie.

Katie was recently snapped on set of her new movie chugging a beer. The 33 year-old has been filming in nearby Kent, Connecticut where she is working on director Christian Camargo‘s untitled, modern take on Anton Chekov‘s The Seagull.
