A new animated film is on the horizon for 2013 and the amount of stars for the voice cast is Epic.

Beyonce, Amanda Seyfried, Josh Hutcherson, Steven Tyler and Colin Farrell are just some of the talent lined up for the next animated movie from Blue Sky Studios – the gang behind Ice Age and Rio.

Epic will be about “an ongoing battle [that takes place] deep in the forest between the forces of good and the forces of evil. When a teenage girl finds herself magically transported into this secret universe, she must band together with a rag-tag team of fun and whimsical characters in order to save their world…and ours.”

Johnny Knoxville, Aziz Ansari, Pitbull, Jason Sudeikis, Blake Anderson and Judah Friedlander are also taking on roles. Chris Wedge will direct and the film is scheduled for May 24, 2013 release.
