Katherine Jackson has finally made her way back to California and her grandchildren after being holed up in Arizona for over a week without any contact to Michael Jackson‘s children that were under her care.

The 82 year-old matriarch of the Jackson family was away at a spa in Tuscon and last had contact with Paris, Prince Michael and Blanket on July 15th but has been in contact with other members of her family, including Rebbie, Jermaine, Randy and Janet Jackson.

Katherine has said she was under doctor’s orders and chose to give up her phone so she could rest.

MJ’s children now have their cousin Tito Joe ‘TJ‘ Jackson as their temporary guardian.

TJ went to court with his attorney, attorneys for Michael Jackson’s estate and the children to request change. It was granted by Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff in part due to Katherine’s absence.

Katherine, flanked by her children Randy, Rebbie and Janet, said she was “devestated” by the ruling and took issue with the characterization she was held against her will by her kids, MJ’s siblings.

“I am devastated that while I’ve been away, that my children, my grandchildren, have been taken away from me, and I’m coming home to see about that, also,” she said to ABC News, reading from a prepared statement.

“I am here today to let everybody know that I am fine and I am here with my children, and my children would never do a thing to me like that, holding me against my will,” she continued. “It’s very stupid for people to think that.”

Judge Beckloff ruled that Katherine hadn’t done anything wrong but was being prevented from fulfilling her guardianship duties intentionally “by third parties” TJ would assume the role temporarily, while everything gets sorted out.

The children clearly missed Katherine.

Paris was happy to have her grandmother return and tweeted:

“grandma’s here! #thankyougod”

Prince Michael had been silent on the matter until today when posted a photo of a cell phone group text/conversation with his Aunts Rebbie and Janet.

“This is enough so I am texting you for the simple fact that WE DEMAND TO SPEAK TO MY GRANDMA NOW!!!”

The reply, apparently from Janet Jackson, was: “Don’t let them pls.”

The 15 year-old made a reference to his father and some wisdom he imparted.

“As long as I can remember my dad had repeatedly warned me of certain people and their ways,” Prince Michael tweeted.

“If you continue with your lies I will continue with the truth.” It was signed “Michael Jackson Jr.”

This is one very ugly family feud.
