Cat Deeley & Patrick Kielty Surprise Marriage In Italy
A weekend of celebrity nuptials (Anne Hathaway and Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill) is capped off with the surprise wedding of Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty.
The So You Think You Can Dance host and the Irish comedian made it official in Italy after just nine months of dating, although the couple has been friends for years.
Kielty’s parish priest, Father Gary Donegan was flown from Belfast to Rome to officiate the ceremony at the beautiful St. Isidore College chapel.
The details were kept a secret from the 60 guests invited.
“It was a beautiful ceremony, just close friends and family,” a family friend confided.
“We only found out at the last minute. It was a really perfect day.”
It is the first marriage for both Deeley, 35, and Kielty, 41, who the British tabloid press refers to as PatCat and Catrick.
