‘Hateship Friendship’ Gets Kristen Wiig, Hailee Steinfeld And Nick Nolte For Indie Dramedy
Kristen Wiig and Hailee Steinfeld are joining up with Nick Nolte and Guy Pearce for the indie flick HATESHIP FRIENDSHIP.
Liza Johnson will direct the quartet in the film based on Alice Munro‘s short story collection HATESHIP, FRIENDSHIP, COURTSHIP, LOVESHIP, MARRIAGE.
Wiig will be the nanny to Steinfeld’s wild and out-of-control teenager. The teen tries to pair up the nanny with her dad (Pearce) who is a recovering addict. Nolte is the grandfather who despises the dad and faults him for his daughter’s death.
Filming starts this week in New Orleans.
Wiig, who debuted a lighter hair color earlier this week at the 2011 Elle Women in Hollywood Gala, gave a Bridesmaids worthy speech when she overshared:
“I haven’t pooped in four days. I’m serious. I’ve been traveling and I’m nervous about tonight. I’m wearing this tight dress and it’s uncomfortable. I’m getting concerned. I’ll take something tonight, I promise.”
Well, she looked great anyway! Check out the photos of Wiig at the celebration.
