Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel wed on Friday in Southern Italy.

The happy newlyweds released this statement to People:

“It’s great to be married, the ceremony was beautiful and it was so special to be surrounded by our family and friends.”

The wedding ceremony was the culmination of several days of celebration.  They kicked of their Italian wedding weekend in fine style on Wednesday with a beach party and fireworks at Cala Masciola Beach in Puglia.  On Thursday, a group of guests was seen noshing on drinks and snacks in a grotto at Lama del Trappeto.

Biel and Timberlake were incredibly hush-hush about their plans, even keeping the exact ceremony location a secret from their guests until the last minute.   Who were those guests, by the way?  The roster included Andy Samberg, Chris Kirkpatrick, Timbaland, Beverley Mitchell and Rob Knox.
