Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard have announced some happy news:  they’re expecting their first child this coming spring.

The couple’s rep confirmed Bell’s pregnancy to People.    A source told the magazine:

“They’re so excited — they’re both ecstatic. They can’t wait to become parents.  Kristen had a little bit of morning sickness early on but she just started shooting the second season of House of Lies and is feeling great now.”

Bell and Shepard have been together since 2007.  They’ve been engaged for two and a half years, but are waiting to marry until their home state of California recognizes marriage for same sex couples.  Shortly after their engagement, they were rumored to be already preparing for a baby.
