Sister Sister star Tamera Mowry has welcomed her first child, a baby boy.

Mowry and husband Adam Housley are now proud parents to little Aden John Tanner Housley, born Monday, November 12.  The new mom commented:

“Adam and I feel very blessed to finally be holding our son.  He is a beautiful miracle, and our hearts are overflowing with love.”

Aden, who weighed 9 lbs. 5 oz., was nearly two weeks late and had mom trying plenty of home remedies to hurry his arrival.  InTouch says that that old labor-inducing standby, spicy food, helped things along.

Dad was glad to meet his son too.  Housley said:

“We are so happy! He is healthy, happy, strong, beautiful and our families are so excited to have another grandchild, cousin and nephew.”

Housley is a correspondent for Fox News Channel.  Mowry currently appears in the Style Network reality show, Tia & Tamera, with her twin sister, Tia Mowry.
