Are models currently procreating at greater rates than other celebrities?  The lovely Lara Stone is the latest catwalker to get herself in a family way.  Her husband, British comedian David Walliams, made the announcement on Twitter:

Some wonderful news. My beautiful wife Lara is pregnant. We are having a baby! It is due next year and we both couldn’t be happier.

Stone – named Fashion’s It Girl by W in 2009 – and Walliams married in 2010 after a fairly short courtship.  Walliams, who is 41, told British Vogue last year that his clock was starting to tick.

“Turning 40 has made me think I should probably have kids soon…By the time they leave school I’ll be about 60. I’ll be at the school gates waiting for them and it’ll be embarrassing because the other kids will ask, ‘Is that your granddad?’”
