With Charlie Sheen no longer involved in Two And A Half Men, you’d think it would be all quiet on the sitcom front but Angus T. Jones has sparked another round of controversy for the beleaguered show.

The 19 year-old actor who has played Jake for 10 years and makes an estimated $300,000 per episode is now urging people to “stop watching” the CBS comedy and refers to it as “filth” in a video.

Jones made the 15 minute religious testimonial for the Forerunner Chronicles, an radical offshoot of the Seventh Day Adventists run by conspiracy theorist Chris Hudson.

Jones begins by talking about his spiritual awakening but half way through he doesn’t just bite the hand that feeds him he pretty much chomps it to a bloody stump when he urges folks to tune out the show.

“Two and a Half Men – if you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching Two and a Half Men. I’m on Two and a Half Men, and I don’t want to be on it. Please stop watching it. Please stop filling your head with filth. Please.”

As the video went viral, Jones must have felt the heat from the show’s bosses and his colleagues because the obligatory apology was issued by the teen. Jones doesn’t really recant what he said about the television program, instead he reaches out to the people he works with and offers the mea culpa to them for hurting their feelings.

“Without qualification, I am grateful to and have the highest regard and respect for all of the wonderful people on Two and Half Men with whom I have worked and over the past ten years who have become an extension of my family,” he said in a statement to Deadline.

Jones thanks show runner Chuck Lorre and Warner Bros. TV CEO Peter Roth in the statement, but reserves his regret for the cast and crew:

“I apologize if my remarks reflect me showing indifference to and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed. I never intended that.”
