Hillary Scott – the woman who puts the “Lady” in Lady Antebellum – is pregnant with her first child.  The country music star announced the news on the band’s website, saying:

“Chris and I are excited to announce that our Christmas gift has arrived a little early this year! We are having a baby! We feel so blessed!”

Scott’s husband, Chris Tyrrell, is also a musician.  They married in January 2012 after a six month engagement.

Lady Antebellum’s latest release is a Christmas album called On This Winter’s Night.  The collection of holiday classics includes Mariah Carey‘s modern standard, “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”
