‘Saturday Night Live’ Honors Connecticut Shooting Victims – VIDEO

Saturday Night Live briefly dispensed with the biting comedy last night to honor the victims of last week’s horrific massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.  The show replaced its opening comedic sketch with members of the New York City Children’s Chorus singing ‘Silent Night.’

At the conclusion of the song, the choir kicked off the show with its traditional opening words, “Live from New York, it’s Saturday night!”

It’s a simple, touching tribute.  Enjoy.
