Victoria Jackson Likens Connecticut Shooting To Abortion, Draws Outrage

Victoria Jackson

SNL alum and Tea Party supporter Victoria Jackson makes no secret of her ultra-conservative political views, but has she gone too far this time?  Jackson used the school shooting in Newtown, Conn. as an opportunity to spread her personal gospel via her Facebook page.

She shared this comment from her fellow Tea Partier, Jim Riley:

My friend Jim Riley posted: “Wasn’t the Connecticut killer just doing what abortionists do every day? It’s a wonder we don’t have more 20 year old “dads” doing what women and doctors have been an accomplice to for years in America. When you forget the TEN COMMANDMENTS, people, THIS is what you get.”

Despite the wave of profane outrage this post generated (including responses like, “Dear Victoria, I curse the day Lorne Michaels mistakenly thought you were funny”), she went on.

Obama dramatically wiped a tear as he said, “The majority of those who died today were children — beautiful little kids … They had their entire lives ahead of them — birthdays, graduations, weddings, kids of their own…”

YEAH OBAMA. SAME AS THE MILLION BABIES YOU HAD ABORTED THIS YEAR.

ARE YOU CRYING FOR THEM?!

Still undaunted by the numerous suggestions that she die, go to hell, and worse, Jackson continued:

A Facebook Friend writes:

Teaching of morals and values would help reduce violence and violent intent in our society. If these kids (shooters) had a strong sense of right and wrong, maybe they would have used a different venue to express their anger. Maybe the ten commandments should be taught in every grade until one graduates from college. Couldn’t hurt to try.

In addition to her ties to the Tea Party, Jackson is also connected with the conservative production company Colony Bay.  Its website says it is “dedicated to telling the adventurous, heroic and exceptional story of America in a way that both challenges and inspires the audience.”
