Rolling Stones’ Ronnie Wood Marries 34 Year Old Sally Humphreys
Ronnie Wood evidently still has it goin’ on – at least as far as his new bride is concerned. The Rolling Stones guitarist married his sweetie, theater producer Sally Humphreys, on Friday in London.
The couple, who have been together less than a year, wed in a super-secret ceremony at the Dorchester Hotel. Humphreys wore her mother’s wedding dress. The Stones’ Keith Richards and Wood’s buddy Rod Stewart served as groomsmen. Other guests included Sir Paul McCartney and his wife Nancy Shevell, and the groom’s children, Tyrone, Jesse and Leah Wood.
Humphreys says the fact that her new husband is 31 years older than her doesn’t really make a difference. They’ve been friends for some time, she said, and it was just a matter of finding the right time for their relationship. The Daily Mail quoted her:
‘Ronnie was married and then Ronnie wasn’t married. I have had boyfriends, then I didn’t have a boyfriend. It had to wait until everyone was clear. But I definitely feel like I have ended up in the right place.
‘There is an age gap. I would prefer it if there wasn’t but there is but maybe I’m a bit older and he’s a bit younger at heart.’
This is Wood’s third marriage. He was previously married to Krissy Findlay, then Jo Wood. He split with her in 2008 following an affair with a 21 year old cocktail waitress. He dated model Ana Araujo for awhile, too. His divorce from Jo was just finalized last year.
