Camila Alves and Matthew McConaughey have shared a few more details about their new baby, who is evidently a boy.  The proud dad used Facebook to official confirm his arrival, saying:

“Camila Alves gave birth to our third child yesterday morning. Our son, Livingston Alves McConaughey was born at 7:43am on 12.28.12. He greeted the world at 9lbs. and 21 inches. Bless up and thank you for your well wishes. Happy New year, and just keep livin, Camila and Matthew McConaughey.”

I like Livingston, but it’s so different from his siblings’ names.  I thought for sure they’d pick another snappy, short name.  He’s bucking the trend in another way too:  Livingston’s birth weight was much higher than his sibs.  Levi was born at 7 lbs. 4 oz., and Vida was 7 lbs. 7 oz.  How’d that little guy get so big?
