In what might be the oddest pairing in reality tv history, Holly Montag and Sanjaya Malakar are said to be seriously dating. The Hills starlet & American Idol finalist met while filming the quality program I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! (after Holly’s sister Heidi Montag and loser hubby, Spencer Pratt, quit). Though Holls denied the romance after she was kicked off, it was obvious there was a flame there.

Now they are going on vacation and taking it to the next level!

“Holly and Sanjaya are headed to [the Hawaiian island of] Kauai tomorrow morning so she can meet his parents.” an insider tells Life & Style. “It’s getting serious!”

What kind of couple name could we give these two? Honaya? Sally? What do you think?

Actor Lou Diamond Phillips beat out NBC star John Salley and WWE wrestler Torrie Wilson to win I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! during Wednesday night’s live season finale. Though he was an obvious favorite around the camp, it was hard to predict that he would be such a popular choice with home viewers. Before Phillips took his throne and had the big leaf wreath/crown dramatically placed on his head, here’s what he had to say about the competition:

“This experience has proven to be so much greater than I expected it to be,” Phillips said. “I expected it to be a competition.  I expected it to be hard.  What I did not expect was the emotional bonds that we’ve created, the foundation of relationships that will go on from here.” … “When I leave this jungle and go back into the other [real world] jungle I think I will actually go back strengthened by the knowledge that I can do what I set out to do.  My experience in this jungle has been complete,” he added.

Congratulations to the veteran actor. I am glad to see that Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, Holly Montag, Janice Dickinson and Sanjaya Malakar were all sent packing and had no shot at the title. They don’t deserve any of the recognition they already get.

Though the only major scheduled change for the future of Jon & Kate Plus 8 is that the parents will be divorcing, turns out that the kids may not be able to be a part of the show at all. So what will be left? The Jon & Kate Minus 8 show?

“[The question for the court could be whether it's] in the best interest of these children to have their lives on TV as children of divorce — is that way too much emotional baggage for any minor to have in their lives as children of divorced parents on TV?” attorney Mary Cushing Doherty asked USA Today.  “I think so.”

In addition, Doherty said even if Jon and Kate were to reach a private custody agreement, there’s still a chance their kids — 8-year-old twins and 5-year-old sextuplets — would be legally disallowed from appearing on the show. “The long arm of the law will reach in and say, ‘I think these kids need a child advocate because people have not been looking out for their best interests,’” Doherty told USA Today.

THANK GOODNESS!!! It’s about time someone stepped in and took action. I know that they think that doing the show is best for the kids so that they can have their big house and thousands of dollars in clothes and toys, but it’s so unnecessary.  My child- and 99% of kids in America- don’t have that, but they are still blissfully happy. And they don’t have cameras chasing them around all the time.

I hope this goes through. I hope those kids never have to be on tv ever again. And I hope Jon & Kate go back to their previous jobs and are able to lead real lives. Maybe they could even stand to be in the same room together one day?

Though Julianne Hough has reportedly landed the lead female role in the upcoming remake of Footloose, she may already be on her way out the door. Turns out, she sucks at acting!

“[Her audition] was so bad, the producers sent her off to take acting classes,” an insider told The Post. “She’s scheduled for another screen test Aug. 1. They definitely like her, but the producers know they need a real actress for the movie to work — she’s a pretty girl who can sing and dance, but so was Mariah Carey, and we all know how Glitter turned out.”

Um, yeh. The girl definitely has chops and is a killer dancer, but why can’t she just stick with that? Why do all these Hollywood people have to push their luck and not just be happy with what they have? I don’t think a few summer acting classes are going to put her in contention to be a good enough actress for a major movie, but whatever.

For some reason, Karina Smirnoff has agreed to marry whiney loser (yet very hot) Maksim Chmerkovskiy. And now, they have both completely lost their minds by agreeing to a reality show documenting their bi-coastal wedding planning lives.  No contract has been agreed to yet, but the show is said to be premiering this fall.

“We haven’t signed on the dotted line yet, but hopefully it’s going to premiere this fall,” Smirnoff told Life & Style. “The show’s just us trying to have a normal
relationship being in the entertainment industry and opening a studio together.”

Right… Perhaps these two should talk to Jon & Kate Gosselin, Nick Lachey & Jessica Simpson, and all the “normal” couples whose lives were ripped apart by taking part in a reality show about their relationship. Yeh, good plan, guys!

Kim Kardashian is freakin’ hot. I will give her that… And she’s good at being a Playboy bunny, reality star, and girlfriend to a big-time athelete (Reggie Bush). But when it comes to singing, she should probably just stick to her day job. According to sources, the Keeping up with Kardashians beauty is working on an album. Wow.

In speaking about her musical career, here’s what she had to say:

“I’d have to hear a song and feel it out and see if it’s something I’d sound good at,” Kim said. I would like the music to sound a bit like Lady GaGa, Britney Spears and J.Lo with a bit of an R’n’B twist to it. Filming the video would be the most fun.”

Audrina Patridge is sticking with the network that made her famous in the first place- MTV has landed her new Mark Burnett produced reality series. The show will follow Audrina during her professional and personal life… That’s right, her “professional” life. Right.

Audrina’s final episode of The Hills will be this fall, no doubt following her cat fights with Kristen Cavallari and spending lots of time in a bikini. That’s some quality tv, people.

Now that their divorce is public, so are the details of the Jon & Kate Gosselin split. According to the paperwork, Kate cited that the couple have lived “separate and apart for at least two years.”

According to legal experts this does not mean Jon and Kate have been separated for two years. What it does mean is that once they have been separated two years, Kate would be granted a no-fault divorce – even if Jon doesn’t want one.

Whether they actually have lived separate lives for two years is up for debate- it might all be to speed up the divorce proceedings. Or, the renewal of vows, the new house, the pretty family picture- they were all lies. I feel used.

Now the show will take a hiatus for the summer since TLC doesn’t have enough footage to use. Fabulous.

Stephen Baldwin was predicted to win I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! by co-star Janice Dickinson, but he quit just days before the live finale. Why? He received over 125 insect bites over the course of 8 days. Ouch.

In a statement, he says the bites were so bad he had an extreme allergic reaction that caused him to lose sleep and 22 pounds. The actor says he will continue to work on behalf of his chosen charity LOVE 146, which fights child sex slavery and exploitation.

Well at least the dude had a legit reason to bail (unlike Speidi). We wish him a speedy recovery and luck in fighting to raise funds for an amazing charity.

Kendra Wilkinson stepped out with hottie fiance Hank Baskett to the premiere of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen last night, but her maternity wardrobe- not the movie- was the hot topic.

“
Maternity clothes are not for me!” the pregnant Playboy cover girl said. “I’ll just buy bigger things!”

That’s a great thought, but it doesn’t always work that way (especially for skinny girls). Though Kendra is in her 14th week of pregnancy, her baby bump is just barely showing.

“But it looks like you just had a big lunch,” her former
Girls Next Door co-star Bridget Marquardt said. “You can’t tell she’s pregnant yet!”

Lucky girl- by week 6 I already looked 3 months pregnant with my daughter… The couple will find out the baby’s gender in a few weeks, and though they both really want a boy, they said they’d be fine with a girl. Good thing, because you don’t really get to pick!

And as for whether or not they are rushing into things?

“We couldn’t ask for anything better to happen in our lives. It’s time for this to happen,” Wilkinson added. “Everybody is like, ‘Are you rushing things?’ I’m like, ‘If we weren’t moving too fast then we would be moving way too slow.’ This is us.”

Good for them. We are happy for this beautiful couple. I can’t wait to see how gorgeous their babies are!!!
