Former First Daughter Chelsea Clinton is getting married to her long time boyfriend, Mac Mazvinsky. The couple sent out an email to friends and family over the Thanksgiving holiday to share the happy news.

It read: “We’re sorry for the mass email but we wanted to wish everyone a belated Happy Thanksgiving! We also wanted to share that we are engaged! We didn’t get married this past summer despite the stories to the contrary, but we are looking toward next summer and hope you all will be there to celebrate with us. Happy Holidays! Chelsea & Marc.”

Some outlets had said that the couple were already married this August.

Mac and Chelsea became close as teenagers when their parents worked in Washington, D.C. His parents are former Rep. Ed Mezvinsky, D-Iowa, and former Rep. Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinksy, D-Penn. They also attended Stanford University together.

Tom Arnold must be a man that loves falling in love.  The actor married home organizer Ashley Groussman on the island of Maui on Saturday (November 28).

More than 75 family and friends attended the ceremony at Shep and Renee Gordon’s home, including actor Dax Shepard, who served as Arnold’s best man. Andrea Groussman was the maid of honor and designed the couple’s rings.

This is the fourth wedding for Tom Arnold. The two met through mutual friends in 2008 and became engaged at his 50th birthday party in May this year.

“I knew that if I could get Ashley to fall in love with me, I’d never have to worry about anything else as long as I lived,” Arnold wrote on the couple’s weddingchannel.com page.

“I’m the luckiest girl in the world!” Groussman wrote.

Actor Anthony Michael Hall can now add restraining order to his resume. The Dead Zone actor has been charged with biting his girlfriend in the forehead earlier this month!

Anthony Michael Hall “bit his girlfriend’s forehead” and “pushed, shoved and spit at” her during an altercation at her New York apartment earlier this month, police told RadarOnline.com on Monday.
The incident took place at 2 a.m. November 10 at the apartment of Hall’s girlfriend, Sirius Radio host and columnist Diana Falzone, according to NYPD Detective Nell. The next day, police said, Hall returned intoxicated and banged on Falzone’s door until officers removed him from the premises.

RadarOnline is also saying that earlier this month, Flazone obtained a restraining order against Anthony Michael Hall after they broke off their one year romance. They did not say whether that was before or after the biting incident.

Three months after he passed away from pancreatic cancer, Patrick Swayze is being honored with a scholarship. The Arabian Horse Foundation has set up a scholarship for young riders who are seeking a career in the performing arts.

Foundation President Larry Kinneer says it honors Swayze for his career and the couple’s “love of the Arabian breed and contributions over the years to Aha youth programs.”

Patrick Swayze and his wife Lisa Niemi, were happy to share the love they had for their own horses on their little ranch. They even showed them off to Barbara Walters in one of his last interviews.

When Shakira’s not shaking her hips on stage, she’s shaking them on the golf course. That’s right, the She Wolf singer has taken up the links.

“I love golf,” she said. “I’m really bad at sports, believe it or not. If you threw a ball at me, you would probably break my face because I have no reflexes whatsoever.

“But in golf, you just need concentration, of which I have plenty, and hip swing is very important.”

I’ve been on my fair share of golf courses, and the hip swing we all did, didn’t look anything like Shakira’s. Mayber her hip swing is used to distract the other golfers.

Troubled singer Amy Winehouse may be walking around with what looks like an engagement ring, but according to her god-daughter Dionne Bromfield, she’s not re-marrying Blake Fielder-Civil.

She said: “Don’t listen to talk of Amy getting remarried to Blake – it’s a lie. She is happy without him.”

Oh thank goodness. The last thing this woman needs is to get back with Blake.

She’s seems to be recovering from her addictions, and moving on with her life. Don’t go backwards Amy!

He is usually very tight lipped about his private life, but Jay-Z has been talking about how he and wife, Beyonce, want to be parents!

“He’s normally very secretive but Jay-Z is so excited about the prospect of becoming a dad, he just let slip that they’re trying for a baby.”

Jay-Z may want to talk it over with Beyonce. She doesn’t seem to think now is the time to have a baby.

She said: “It’s not time for that yet. But definitely there will be a time. I want to be a great mother, the kind of mother that I have. I want the same bond that I had with my mom and that would be enough for me.

You never know what’s going on with this couple. It took them forever to admit they were dating, let alone that they even got married. So it wouldn’t surprise me that Beyonce is saying no to babies in public, but secretly trying for one in private.

It is being reported that David Hasselhoff was taken to the hospital Friday (November 27) following a seizure at his home in Encino, CA.

Hasselhoff’s neighbor, Christian (last name withheld) told the press what had happened.

“I asked one of the paramedics how David was doing and he told me his eyes were rolling back into his head, he was drooling and that he’d had a seizure.” Unfortunately, said Christian, “this isn’t the first time this has happened to him.”

Unfortunately, it was his daughter Hayley who called 911. She was also the one who called the paramedics in September when David was taken to the hospital, allegedly for alcohol poisoning.

Hasselhoff is said to have been drinking for the past two days. He is also taking anti-seizure medication.

There are always rumors swirling around Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel. The actress recently said that she finds all of the attention she gets to be “weird”.

“It’s definitely been weird and sort of bizarre to deal with,”

“But you have to have a sense of humor about the whole thing. Honestly, I look at a magazine and they know more than I do.

“You do really have to just get into a place where you feel Zen about it – take a deep breath and know that somebody is going to be taking your picture while you’re going to the laundry and picking up your dry cleaning.”

I cannot imagine having anyone take pictures of me throughout the day. I always look awful. But if I was an actress and my job relied on the press I got, I’d learn to be “Zen” about it, too.

Supermodel Heidi Klum has taken Seal’s last name, and now Seal wants to adopt Heidi’s first daughter, Leni. Seal has already started the legal proceedings and is hoping to have everything done by Christmas.

Heidi’s father Guenther said: “Heidi, Seal and the kids have always been a happy family – in everyday life and in their hearts. Then they should also be happy on paper.”

Leni is the daughter of Formula One boss Flavio Briatore. Heidi was pregnant but had already split with Flavio by the time she met Seal. Thankfully, Flavio has given Seal permission to go ahead with the adoption.

I think this is great. Seal has always spoken about Leni as his daughter, and with the adoption underway, it will be legal.

What a wonderful Christmas present.
