Angelina Jolie Is Not An Obama Fan

Angelina Jolie at the Los Angeles premiere of Inglourious Basterds.

Actress Angelina Jolie is not a fan of President Obama, and it’s beginning to cause problems with partner Brad Pitt.

“She hates him,” a source close to the U.N. goodwill ambassador, 34, tells the new issue of Us Weekly.

“She’s into education and rehabilitation and thinks Obama is all about welfare and handouts. She thinks Obama is really a socialist in disguise,” adds the source.

“Angie isn’t Republican, but she thinks Obama is all smoke and mirrors,” the source says.

Brad Pitt is a big supporter of Obama, and Angelina’s opinion about the president is causing fights in the home.

“They get in nasty arguments all the time about it,” says the source. “She doesn’t respect Brad when it comes to politics, but, in the end, this won’t tear them apart.”

Living with someone who won’t respect your political opinions can be more than difficult. But it’s good to know that Brad and Angelina can get past politics.

Justin Timberlake Parties Without Girlfriend

Justin Timberlake at golf tournament.

As rumors of breakups continue to swirl around Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, Justin was caught out having a night on the town. All without girlfriend Jessica.

On November 17, Justin headed out with his guy friends to L.A. hot spot Hyde Lounge, then after that he and his friends went to Guys & Dolls nightclub.

“Justin arrived a little after midnight with his best friend, Trace Ayala, and some other guys,” an eyewitness tells Life & Style. “They sat in the DJ booth for a while, and various girls stopped by to say hello. Justin was super nice. He was people-watching, then he got up and started dancing.”

After the club closed, they all headed to a house party in Hollywood Hills.

Sounds like Justin had a great time with the boys. I wonder what Jessica was up to that night. Maybe they’re relationship is so good he can go party without her. Or, maybe not.

Would you be OK with your partner spending a whole night partying without you there?

John Mayer Dates For Love Not Fame

John Mayer seen walking through Soho.

John Mayer is “sick” and tired of people thinking he dates famous women just to boost his album sales.

He said: “You just never know who’s going to come into your life. To my mind, the only thing sicker than saying, ‘Wow, you’re a famous person and it would do a lot for my career to go out with you,’ is to say, ‘Wow, you’re a famous person and I like you and all, but I can’t do that to my career.’ I don’t think either of those is a good option.”

John has been linked to Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and most recently Jennifer Aniston. I don’t know if dating any of those women actually helped in his album sales, but they sure got the paparazzi following him around.

Penelope Cruz & Javier Bardem To Marry In December

Penelope Cruz outside the Ed Sullivan Theater for the 'Late Show With David Letterman'.

After whispers of babies and an engagement this year, word is that Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem will be getting married in December during the holidays.

“They will marry very soon, maybe even over the holidays,” says a friend. “Penelope’s parents are conservative Catholics and are really pushing for her to get married. Javier would like to take things slowly, but Penelope wants to make her parents happy.”

“Since she and Javier are from Spain, she’d love to have a Spanish designer create her dream gown,”

What designer is she looking to? The founder of the House of Balenciaga was Spanish, and also did Salma Hayek’s wedding gown. So chances are Penelope will be going to Balenciaga for her own gown.

“I’m sure they would be more than thrilled to create a gown for Penelope,” says the source. According to an insider, Penelope knows her wedding gown “will be the most important dress of her life.”

How exciting! I love a good wedding. I cannot wait to see Javier and Penelope tie the knot.

Cameron Diaz Loves “Getting Older”

Cameron Diaz on the set of "Knight And Day".

In the youth obsessed world of Hollywood, it’s rare to hear anyone say that like being their own age. Let alone the idea of getting older. Actress Cameron Diaz has said that she loves getting older. That it lets her be more sexy.

“I love getting older!”

“I feel more self-possessed, which I think allows you to be more sexy, more confident.

“It’s also natural that as I get older I play mothers and wives and be part of different kinds of films. Women are obsessed with looking young, but what about the innocence of youth? “The thing to envy in young people is not how they look but their innocence.”

Good for Cameron for not wanting to change how she looks. If only more people in Hollywood thought like that.  But I don’t think there’s a prescription for innocence.

Cougar Town Returns To Filming

Courteney Cox at the TV GUIDE Magazine's Hot List Party.

After a “family matter” caused the filming on Courteney Cox‘s new show Cougar Town to stop filming on Friday (November 20), filming is said to be on track for next Monday (November 30).

It was never disclosed what the “family matter” was that caused the filming to be delayed for Cox, but her husband, David Arquette never stopped filming on his new movie.

The actress’ husband, David Arquette, has continued work on his independent film, The Land of the Astronauts in Los Angeles and the surrounding area for the last two weeks. A source insists to E! (Via US) that Arquette has worked as normal with “no apparent” family issues interfering.

We hope that Courteney and her family are alright.

John Mayer Has Dating Issues

John Mayer arriving at the Hard Rock Cafe for an intimate performance to promote his new album 'Battle Studies'.

Musician John Mayer thinks he should be dating more, but that the tabloids are making it difficult for him.

“It’s crazy to me that in my head, that being 32 and dating women is going to get me in trouble,” he says in a new interview with The New York Times.[via US]. “I can’t even explain to you how terrible that feels, that I equate dating a woman with punishment, shame, guilt, disappointment, reproach, reprimand, persecution. It’s a nightmare.”

“I should be having sex with more girls,” he adds.

Wow, someone has issues.

In the past, John has been linked with Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Love Hewitt. Will we be hearing about any of these relationship on his newest album Battle Studies?

“What is the odd man out,” he says, “is it the record or the coverage? I’m not going to let it be the record. I think if you’re listening to Battle Studies and you think it’s a record about high-profile relationships, I haven’t done a good enough job.”

What do you think? Should John be dating more? Or should he just keep his trap shut about it?

George Clooney Gives Dating Advice

George Clooney at the Times BFI London Film Festival: Men Who Stare At Goats - gala screening held at the Odeon Leicester Square.

If I was to get dating advice from anyone in Hollywood, I’d want it to be from George Clooney. That is just what Anna Kendrick got from him while they were both filming Up In The Air.

“He had rules for me about dating and stuff. It was really sweet,” Anna Kendrick said at Saturday’s press day for their new comedy/drama Up in the Air, out Dec. 4. “It’s funny, actually. A friend of his that was his age [48] was dating somebody younger than me. He thought that was fine. I was like, ‘What would you say to me if I were dating somebody your age?’ He said, ‘Oh no, absolutely not.’ “

Double standard? Yes. But it sounds like George was really just being protective over Anna, and that’s sweet.

The 24-year-old admits, “He had this kind of older brother thing with me.” And, her character, who has argumentative romantic tension with Clooney in the film, jokes, “Is he too old for me? Yes. George Clooney is too old for me.”

George Clooney is too old for someone? I never thought I’d see the day.

John Mayer’s Pricey Shopping Therapy

John Mayer outside the Ed Sullivan Theater for the 'Late Show With David Letterman'.

A word of advice for anyone who’s feeling blue. Don’t make any major purchases.  The latest victim of retail therapy?  John Mayer, who was sad one day so he went and bought a Ferrari!

He said: “Nobody stopped me the day I was real sad – because you don’t buy a Ferrari when you’re happy; you buy a Ferrari when you’re sad.

“You buy a Ferrari when there’s a piece missing inside of you. All of these things are absolute tickets out of the game: you have to enjoy your life without indulging so much that you lose it.”

So what do you do when you’re feeling down, and just bought a Ferrari? Drive to Las Vegas of course!

“I bought a Ferrari and drove it to Las Vegas on the day I bought it. What’s more ridiculous – putting 600 miles on a black-on-black 599 Ferrari the day you get it, or having somebody call your best friend and ask if you’re still dating that girl?”

It almost makes me feel sad for John. Almost, but then I remember he was able to just go out and buy a Ferrari and drive to Las Vegas on the same day.
