More ’24′ Season 8 News!

Jack Bauer

The latest on ‘24‘ season 8 is kind of huge if you’re a fan of Jon Cassar (one of the directors).  Jon has moved on from ’24′ to direct a feature film.

I am not worried.  I know that the show is strong and will do fine with any director.

Plus, I am thrilled to find out that episodes 1 & 2 have already been filmed.  Yay!  How about a sneak peek, huh?  I would die for one! ;)

Let The Good Times Roll! Beers & Shots With Kiefer Sutherland

Kiefer Sutherland drinking it up

I guess that being such a HUGE fan of 24 makes me love Kiefer Sutherland more than the average bear.  So, naturally when I see him out having fun at the bars, I want to join in the fun.

Kiefer seems like the most normal dude, totally kick back and 100% real.  What you see is what you get.  I think having a few drinks with him, picking his brain would be a blast!  And that’s just what  some folks in Covina, CA got to do on Saturday night.

Kiefer bought a couple of Kawasaki street bikes then headed to the bar and had fun with pals and some of the shop guys till the wee hours of the morning.  Good times!

I cannot wait for 24 season 8!  We need more spoilers STAT! :)

New Exciting NEWS For ’24′ Season 8!! + Spoilers & Freddie Prinze Jr!

Jack Bauer

We’ve already got spoilers for ’24′ season 8.  Now we will continue in the off season to get bits and pieces of what’s coming up in the awesome, new season of ‘24‘.  I or one am totally pumped!

The news of today is that there area bunch of  new cast members that have signed on to be part of my favorite show!

“Kissing Jessica Stein” star Jennifer Westfeldt will play the recurring role of Meredith Reed, an ambitious journalist with ties to Arman Hashemi (Anil Kapoor), a Middle East leader who comes to the U.S. on a peacemaking mission.

Chris Diamantopoulos (The Starter Wife) is also on board!

John Boyd (“The Notorious Bettie Page”) will be a regular on the 20th TV/Imagine series, playing CTU systems analyst Jonah Schwartz.

Freddie Prinze Jr, a star of such films as She’s All That and two Scooby-Doos — where he played opposite lady love Sarah Michelle Gellar — and the short-lived sitcom Freddie, Prinze Jr. joins 24 as Davis Cole, a Marine who now heads up the resurrected CTU’s Field Ops division. In that role, Cole fancies himself the new Jack Bauer, says the Hollywood Reporter.

24 has trod this path before, introducing a strapping field agent (James Badge Dale’s Chase Edmunds, Ricky Schroder’s Mike Doyle) who ostensibly might one day relieve weary Jack and inherit the “Drop it!” mantle. Chase, though, dropped off the radar after losing his hand (and girlfriend Kim), while Mike had a bomb go off in his face (a manuever to one day be known as The Juliet).

Also joining 24 is Mumbai-born beauty Nazneen Contractor (CBC’s The Border), playing the daughter of Anil Kapoor’s Middle Eastern leader. Counting down to her untimely kidnapping in five… four… three… .

Production on this amazing show began yesterday.  I will now wait anxiously for the next tid bit of info to pass along to you guys!  It looks like this will be a very NEW cast!

Keifer Sutherland Dodges A Bullet, Now On With ’24′ Season 8!!

Kiefer Sutherland

I will admit I have been sweating it a bit.  Keifer Sutherland has been waiting in the wings waiting to see what his fate would be after that silly headbutting incident.  We were all thinking his DUI record/probation was going to land him back in the slammer.  But, it looks like Keifer and Jack McCollough have mended the fences on their own…

“I am sorry about what happened that night and sincerely regret that Mr. McCollough was injured,” Sutherland said in a joint statement released to the Associated Press.

McCollough said in the statement: “I appreciate Mr. Sutherland’s statement and wish him well,” according to AP.

“We have requested the incident report from NYPD and we will assess the situation when we have all the available information,” L.A. City Attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan tells PEOPLE.

This is good.  I think Keifer will be fine now and he can get on with filming season 8 of my favorite show, ’24′!!  Click here for season 8 spoilers!!

24 Season 7 Finale: My Thoughts + Recap

24

So, I am really curious how you feel after watching last night’s season finale of 24?  I am still having mixed feelings.  I actually cried during parts of this one.  Jack crying is instant tears for me.  I guess that I am feeling like way too much was left open ended.  I knew that there would have to be a  cliffhanger, but that was a lot to handle. Every side of the story was left open!  I have no closure on anything.  I certainly don’t know what to really feel about Tony.  He is one tough egg to crack this year!  Then knowing that season 8 will pick up so far ahead in the future, it just kinda sucks.  I of course still totally loved it.  I am very bummed that season 7 is over.  I wish that show was called 48!  LOL.

Here is TV Guide’s recap in case you missed last night’s intense season “ender”:

’24′ Season 8 SPOILERS! I Know! Already! Eeek!!

Jack Bauer

I am beyond anxious for Sunday’s 2 hour finale of the best show on TV, 24.  I am very bummed that I won’t have it to look forward to every week, but I am dying to see how this season will end.

Well, TV Guide has got some major juice on season 8 for us and if you don’t want to know anything till next season….don’t read any further!

Here’s what we know about the show’s eighth, and perhaps final season. A year-and-a-half to two years will have elapsed since the end of Season 7, with the action moving from the White House to the U.N. building in New York City. Cherry Jones is back as President Allison Taylor. “I don’t think they know quite what to do with me yet,” says Jones. “At first I heard they needed me for only a couple episodes, but I do seem now to have a little bit more to do.” Cherry says the new season will expand beyond an American threat to a global concern. “It has to deal more with the state of the world—not just the state of us,” she says.

“Slumdog Millionaire” star Anil Kapoor plays the head of a foreign country, which enters into a peace agreement with President Taylor, but assassins plan to bring Kapoor’s character down before the treaty can be signed. “It’s a call back to the very first season when the very charismatic president David Palmer has to be saved for the greater good,” teases executive producer Howard Gordon, who plans to shoot 7 to 10 days on the streets of New York City and construct U.N. sets in L.A. “The eighth day is the culmination of all Jack has had to do—good bad and otherwise. When he’s finally enlisted to help protect the peace, he’s preserving something that is very personal to him.”

Producers are undecided at this time if the president’s estranged husband and daughter will return. “Both family members are waiting to hear how they might be employed,” says Jones. But one person who will be back is Renee Walker. Annie Wershing says something from Renee’s past comes back to haunt her and directly involves her in the U.N. crisis.

President Taylor has reconstituted CTU, but the organization is now more budget-conscious. “There is a new head of CTU named Brian Hastings, who is extremely smart and very possessive,” says Gordon of the yet-to-be-cast role. “He’s a little blinded by his possessiveness.” This will lead to conflicts with both Jack and Chloe, who will find herself in danger of losing her job. “That’s going to be trouble for me,” says Mary Lynn Rajskub (Chloe). “She had a special place for Bill Buchanan, so I see some bashing heads with authority.”

So, what do you think?  Do you think the time gap will leave too much unanswered or will they cover it all?  How do you think this season is going to end?  Drop a comment below!

Season Finale of ’24′ Is Ulcer Material!

24

Last night’s episode of 24 was so intense.  It had so much emotional stuff too.  The whole issue with Tony betraying Jack nearly brought me to tears.  It’s so sad.  Of course didn’t shoot him, but he sure wanted to!  I was totally shocked by the airport scene with Kim….I did not see that coming!  That poor girl always gets in trouble whenever she is around her dad!  No wonder he wants her to stay away…..I thought it was so sweet that Jack had a bodyguard following her….too bad he’s now dead…..

Next week is the finale and I think I might truly get an ulcer from it.  The preview looks beyond intense.  There are so many different things all happening at once.  It’s going to be SO good!

Now, keep your fingers crossed for Kiefer, we need him around for the taping of season 8!

If you didn’t watch last night, watch TV Guide’s recap so you will be ready for the finale!

Delay In ’24′ Season 8??

Kiefer Sutherland

Could it really happen?  Could they actually torture us and send Kiefer Sutherland to real jail and make us wait for season 8 of the intense hit, ’24′?  I sure hope it doesn’t turn out that way…..  But, the L.A. district attorney is getting all the reports from the NYPD about the headbutting incident that happened with Kiefer Sutherland and Jack McCollough.

Both Kiefer and Brooke Shields’ lawyers have now made statements:

Kiefer’s:
“We are troubled by the untruthful and self-serving information circulating regarding Kiefer Sutherland and events of last Monday evening. We are confident, however, that the investigation being conducted by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and the NYPD will confirm that Kiefer Sutherland was neither the instigator nor a wrongdoer in this incident. Out of respect for this law enforcement process, Kiefer Sutherland will not be making any comment.”

Brooke’s:
“A number of statements have been attributed to Ms. Shields in the media that are neither true nor authorized. These statements were obviously made by those who were not in attendance at the party and constitute their version of events. While at the party she was bumped into by Jack McCollough and Kiefer Sutherland became concerned. Kiefer has always been a gentleman in her company. Both Jack and Kiefer are friends of Ms. Shields and she regrets this unfortunate situation.”

Ugh!  I think Kiefer Sutherland is a total gentleman and that Jack McCollough is a total jerk and a major pansey!  This better not affect season 8, I will be so annoyed.  This could mean 11 months in jail for violating his probation!  He wasn’t violating!  He was being a hero!! I am hoping the judge is a ’24′ fan!

’24′: Kiefer Sutherland Pulls A Jack Bauer (LMAO)

Kiefer Sutherland

So it looks like Kiefer Sutherland forgot he wasn’t on set during a post event party.  The story is that this designer, Jack McCollough pushed Brooke Shields and Kiefer came to her recue and head butted the guy.  I say good for you Kiefer!  That’s just what Jack Bauer would have done!

Well, Kiefer is on probation for his DUI still and this is gonna be a bit of trouble for him.  So, he will be turning himself in today.  No biggie though.  He will just get a ticket and have to appear at a later date to face the charges.  So, this shouldn’t interfere with the filming of 24′s season 8. Whew!

I think this McCoolough guy is a major d-bag and that he just wanted some attention since his nose job was wrecked.  LMAO!  What a wuss!

Don’t worry, we support you 100% Kiefer!
