Adam Sandler is starring in a new movie, Bedtime Stories, out on Christmas Day. It’s about Adam’s character who reads bedtime stories to his niece and nephew which then start coming true. The crazier the stories get, the more out of control his life becomes. Adam recently revealed that he likes to read stories to his daughter, Sadie, dressed up in a princess outfit.
“I like to dress up as the lead character in whatever story I am reading. This is a little weird because my daughter loves the Disney princesses. But you’d be surprised at how good I look in a ball gown.
“I hold the storybook and make up my own stories with the characters. This backfired when my daughter started watching movies and realised that Cinderella didn’t drive for NASCAR.”
I think that having a dad like Adam would be awesome. I remember back when he was on SNL that would be the only reason why I would watch that show. I think I’m going over to his house so he can read me a bedtime story too!
Here’s the trailer for the new Adam Sandler film, Bedtime Stories:
An adventure comedy starring ADAM SANDLER as Skeeter Bronson, a hotel handyman whose life is changed forever when the bedtime stories he tells his niece and nephew start to mysteriously come true. He attempts to take advantage of the phenomenon, incorporating his own aspirations into one outlandish tale after another, but its the kids unexpected contributions that turn Skeeters life upside down. From Director Adam Shankman (Hairspray, The Wedding Planner), BEDTIME STORIES features an all-star cast, including Adam Sandler, Guy Pearce, Keri Russell, Richard Griffiths, Courteney Cox, Lucy Lawless, Teresa Palmer, Russell Brand, Aisha Tyler, Jonathan Pryce.
Looks like a Jumanji wannabe, but I’m sure the kids will like it!
