Alec Baldwin Set To Wed 28 Year Old Girlfriend

 Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Thomas

The famously bad-tempered Alec Baldwin is getting hitched!  He proposed to his much-younger girlfriend, 28 year old yoga teacher Hilaria Thomas, last weekend on Long Island.

The New York Daily News reports that back in Manhattan on Monday, Thomas was seen wearing a stunner of a ring on her left hand.  An observer (a student of hers?) described the diamond as:

“huge, very clear, perfect clarity, Cartier.”

The pair began dating in 2011, and their relationship became public news in September of that year.   This will be Thomas’ first marriage; Baldwin was famously married to Kim Basinger from 1993-2002.    Here’s hoping that he does better this time around.

Alec Baldwin & John Krasinski Baseball Rivalry Heats Up (VIDEO)

Alec Baldwin and John Krasinski take their love of opposing baseball teams to new (burning) heights in the latest series of ads for New Era.

Baldwin’s beloved NY Yankees lose out to Krasinski’s Boston Red Sox in the new commercial and Alec renews their feud by burning a handful of Red Sox tickets.

Alec also burns down his apartment building, tells John to dial 9-1-2 (it’s for rich people, he says) goes on the lam and decides to hideout at Krasinski’s place.

The best part – a dumbfounded Krasinski trying to haul Baldwin’s luggage…

Alec Baldwin & John Krasinski: Baseball Smackdown

Alec Baldwin and John Krasinski take baseball rivalry to the extreme in a very funny new commercial.

In the ad for New Era hats, Baldwin, a NY Yankees fan, runs to Krasinski’s apartment and sucker-punches him as The Office star opens the door.

“You guys didn’t deserve to win that game,” Baldwin shouted to Krasinski, a Boston Red Sox fan. “You know you didn’t!”

Well, as it turns out, the 30 Rock star was wrong and Krasinski ends up with an apology (sorta) and $20 grand.

Baldwin says “I ran … I was too angry to drive,” all the way to John’s apartment and missed the last inning.

This is the second ad for the baseball cap maker that the two have starred in. Check the original ad where they go at it in a much more civilized (and still funny) way below.

Alec Baldwin Says Long Live ’30 Rock’

Alec Baldwin has had to clarify his 30 Rock statement.

Talking to Vulture.com at the National Dance Institute’s Fund Raising Gala, the actor commented on the end of the show in 2012.

“I will tell you one thing. And that is our show next year is our last year of the show,” Baldwin said.

“Our contracts are expired [in 2012], and Tina [Fey] is gonna have a big career directing films and writing,” he explained further. “She’s going to be the next Elaine May. She’ll be great.”

That set off a wave of panic for the popular program and today, Baldwin is verbally two-stepping around his initial statement.

Writing on The Huffington Post, Baldwin says it’s really only his future he’s certain of.

“Gosh.

I want to take the opportunity to state that although my days on network TV may be numbered, I hope 30 Rock goes on forever. Or at least as long as everyone involved desires.

Next year hopefully won’t be the last. Kenneth can run the network. Jenna will get her own talk show. Tracy will become Mayor of New York. Then resign to go raise exotic reptiles. And Lemon will go do … just about anything she sets her mind to.

Here’s to five more seasons.”

Viva La Liz Lemon.

Alec Baldwin Tells Charlie Sheen “You Can’t Win”

In an open letter to Charlie Sheen, actor Alec Baldwin gave a little advice to Sheen and it’s most certainly not what Charlie wants to hear.

Baldwin, who has been around the controversy block a few times himself, offers the recently fired Two and A Half Men star some tough love, telling him “You can’t win. You can’t.”

In the article at The Huffington Post, Baldwin relates his own difficulties with securing the sequel to The Hunt for Red October and the problems he and studio executive David Kirkpatrick had in negotiations to the now public spectacle Sheen has launched against Warner Bros. and producer Chuck Lorre.

Eventually the 30 Rock star says Sheen should “Take a nap. Get a shower. Call Chuck. Go on Letterman and make an apology. Write a huge check to the B’Nai Brith. And then beg for your job back. Your fans demand it.”

Alec Baldwin Receives A Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Alec Baldwin was honored with the 2,433 star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday, February 14th.

The 30 Rock actor attended the ceremony along with his friend Megan Mullally, who actually helped Baldwin decide to take on a sitcom.

“I didn’t think this was something I wanted to do, to commit to a show, to sign a contract for years on end,” Baldwin said.

“I made films and worked in the theater and there’s a lot of diversity there that’s kind of an advantage. But then I did Will & Grace and had the best time of my life,” he added.

“Working with Megan on that show…I realized it was a lot of fun. It inspired me to do this.”

Baldwin’s star is in front of Eva Longoria’s restaurant, Beso and a couple of blocks away from ex-wife Kim Basinger’s. He acknowledged Basinger’s star and his daughter with her, Ireland Baldwin by saying:

“I’m kind of blown away,” Baldwin concluded. “My daughter has the distinction of both of her parents have this. I think it’s kind of cool for my kid.”

Stephen Baldwin was on hand to congratulate his big brother and take pics on his phone.

Brand New ‘It’s Complicated’ Trailer is Actually Funny

its_complicated

Here’s the new trailer for the upcoming comedy It’s Complicated.

This movie does look like it will be pretty funny, not typically something I would say about a movie like this but these actors are great. I’m not going to be rushing out to see this, but it could be worth a watch.Source: Trailer Addict

Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin to Host Oscars

oscars

Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin have been chosen to co-host the Oscars next year.

Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin are joining forces to co-host the 82nd Annual Academy Awards, the telecast’s producers Bill Mechanic and Adam Shankman said Tuesday.

Doubling down on comedy, the producers said, “Steve will bring the experience of having hosted the show in the past, and Alec will be a completely fresh personality for this event.”

As a solo act, Martin hosted the Oscars in 2001 and 2003, earning an Emmy nomination for his first turn at-bat. He’s also been a presenter on a number of occasions including this year, when he appeared with Tina Fey to hand out a trophy.

Baldwin has appeared as a presenter, most recently in 2004 when he was nominated as best supporting actor for his appearance in “The Cooler.”

These two are bound to bring us a lot of laughs. I think they will make a great team, expect a lot of dry humor.
