Ali Lohan Defends Her Family, Promotes Reality Show
Dina Lohan’s biggest mistake, “Living Lohan” is about to premiere Monday night, May 26 at E! Entertainment. The reality TV show star will be 14 year old Ali Lohan, who says:
“We’re doing this show to set the record straight and defuse all those rumors out there that say we’re this crazy family. We’re like any other family in the world.”
“I mean, the tabloids said I got a nose job!” she whined. “That really annoyed me. Look at my nose, look at my mom’s nose. We all have the same nose. That really annoyed me!”
I could argue and say maybe they got the same plastic surgeon!!
At that point, mom Dina jumps in: “Initially, I didn’t want to do a reality program, but at this point, my back is against the wall to show the truth. It was intrusive, but it was also therapeutic, honestly. I never realized how much I actually do every day. I think I wore the crew out.”
Yep, Dina’s back was up against the wall alright!! She needed money fast!! That is why. Lindsay can’t find a job and Ali is not cashing in as fast as Lindsay did at her age.
Brothers Coby and Michael will also appear on the show but no Lindsay, why?
“I told Lindsay I don’t want her on the show,” Dina told TV Guide. “Doing reality TV would almost be taking a step backward as far as her career goes.”
I don’t think Lindsay can take any more steps backward in her career! But it could be dangerous to have her in the show. She could expose some secrets that would make momma embarrassed… so Dina only wants to help Ali pursue her dreams:
“Ali wants to sing, my son wants to play lacrosse,” said Dina. “Not letting Ali sing would be like taking my son’s lacrosse stick away and saying, ‘You’re going to get hurt, you can’t play.’ I’m definitely nervous about Ali, but Lindsay and I have gone through so much and we’ve learned so much, that I think I get it for this little one. I think she’ll be fine.”
Ali Lohan is set to become the next Lindsay or the next Britney. And Dina didn’t learn anything with her first failure. Keep your children safe; don’t sell them out like that!
“I want everyone to know that my mom is not a crazy freak mom who’s just trying to be famous and be in the spotlight,” said Ali. “She’s not. She’s just helping her kids follow their dreams in life, just like any other mom would.”
Nope, not like any other mom!!
